Tilton Dining Room

Just a small update for a set that I've been slowly working on for the past few weeks - the Tilton Dining Room. So far I only have the table, chairs, and a table plant done.

Quick Disclaimer

Just a quick note to you all about support. There seems to be some people who are taking .sims3packs and converting back to .packages - I, personally, do not really care what format you want to install your CC in. I understand that some people prefer .package for the ease of drag-and-drop installation and such, but please note that .package is NOT a generally supported format for TS3. Converting .sims3pack to .package may break/corrupt the file! If you convert files, or you've downloaded them from somewhere else as .package, please don't tell me they are broken or ask me to fix them - because I can't. If you download and install them as .sims3pack, then the content should install into your game and work just fine.

Sims3pack files integrate themselves into the game, versus .package files which are basically plug-n-play. Using .sims3pack provides a smooth transition when updating, installing patches, SP/EPs, etc, and is your safest bet to ensure that the content continues to work after the game updates are done, versus .package files which should be removed when updating the game and then put back afterwords - with no guarantee that they will continue to work. Obviously, it's up to you which method you choose, but please keep in mind I will not help with broken CC for TS3 that was converted to .package - we were given the .sims3pack format for a reason!

Hillside Bedroom

Hi everyone,

Update with my newest set that I'm working on; Hillside Bedroom. A simple, modern bedroom. Not a lot of color in the set itself, which makes for more possibilities when decorating as it will match almost anything. The white parts are not recolorable (the wood and metal hardware is, though) however there is a black variation for each item as well.

New Planters

New set on the way, made by request for tug© - Flower Planters. The items in the set have no real connection or correlation, they are just random plants that I find or that are shown to me that I like. I have 3 done so far, with a few more on the way!

Simple Ponytail Problems

Hi everyone,

I've seen that there are a lot of reports on my Simple Ponytail about it looking weird and having patches in the game. As you can see in the preview picture, I don't have any trouble with it in my game. With that said, that means that I'm relying on you guys that are actually having the problem to tell me what's wrong. I've contacted several of you all that left comments saying that it wasn't showing up properly asking if you could provide some details about your game setup and PC configuration, and asking if you could provide a picture of how it looks in your game - and I am now just waiting for replies. Until I have some information on what is actually wrong, I'm afraid that I do not know what I should be looking to fix!

If you are reading this and have had problems with this hair in your game, please PM me so I can work with you to try to get this fixed!

Simple Ponytail

Hi everyone! I've started work on my second Sims 3 hair mesh, and I really like the way it's coming out so far!  It's just a simple ponytail with bangs, nothing too extravagent this time. I do have it in game and working, but it has a few glitches and some mesh oddities that I need to fix. I'll come back and show some pictures of it actually in game once I get it somewhat decent looking!

Old Garden

What a better way to start off a bright, fresh, new year than with an old, busty, worn-down set! My first set of the year (I think) varies out side of my normal style a bit, is a garden (go figure!) thats been slightly...neglected.  Full of weeds, and slightly overgrown, it's the perfect garden to adorn that one creepy, abandoned house that every neighborhood seems to have.  

Downloads not showing up in game?

He everyone. I haven't had too many reports of content mysteriously going missing from the game so far - but now they are starting to come in more frequently. This issue is because of the latest EA patch, in their attempt to.. do whatever it is they were trying to do. Supposedly there was speculation they were trying to disable any non-store content. Anyways, there is currently no solution to this - at least, no solution that we creators can implement - to make the content show up again.

I do not have this patch installed, and am using a previous version of Workshop, so my game is still functioning and I do intend on continuing to create content, just not quite at the same rate - seeing as apparently half the people who download something won't be able to see it in game. Please be patient, we just need to wait for EA to fix it!

Bay Loft Kitchen

Hi everyone! Decided to try my first kitchen (well, it's a kitchen and dinning room combo) for TS3 - I'm extremely happy with how it's turning out. Slightly different colors than my normal taste, but I think it's a nice change!

Christmas, Comments, and Free Items

Hi everyone! I hope you all are enjoying the Holiday season so far!

To start with, I'm sure most of you have seen "TSR XMas Market" sets/items appearing on the site. So far my contribution to it has been a set of pine trees to help decorate around the market and add a little scenery. I am, however, also working on some of the stalls to be part of the main market - at the moment the two I'm doing are Christmas Stocking Stall, and a normal decorated Christmas Tree Stall (Decorated trees as well as plain ones, ornaments etc). The set of trees that I have so far has been marked as a free item, as will be the two stalls I just mentioned (and everything that goes with them), in addition to everything else that other artists are making for this massive set. The set in its entirety will be free - from the point of publishing until, well, forever - every part by every artist as sort of a "gift" to all of you.

On a slightly more personal note - I have chosen to mark a few of my sets as free for the Holiday season as a gift to you all. Since I thought that my Dead Trees from Halloween match rather well with my Christmas Trees, I have set them to free until January 2nd. Think of them as sort of an extension onto my XMas Market Trees. I've also set my Christmas Wreaths as free until January 6th.

Lastly, while looking over some of comments I have recieved - specifically on my Pulled Back Ponytail - almost 1/3rd of the comments on there are in regards to it being a subscriber item rather than being free. These kinds of comments are tiresome and really quite annoying for me to have to waste my time reading, and not to mention - they are against the rules. As of now I just ignore them, in the future though I will simply delete them. I'm sorry that it upsets you that it is a subscriber item - but it IS a subscriber item, plain and simple. If you are too young to subscribe, do not wish to subscribe, can't afford it, or whatever your reason is - there is an alternative: Kudos. Some people seem to think they are lame and stupid, but for ever 7500 of these "lame and stupid" points, you can trade them in for a free subscriber day - 24 hours of completely unlimited downloading of ANY and EVERYTHING on TSR in that time. At any rate though, because it is the Holidays after all, I have set that hair to free until January 6th as well.
