Experiment IV: Chapter Seven
Experiment IV will now be continued in my blog due to moving sims 3 to another computer and the backup not being recognised.

As Tess felt herself come back into the dreary room, she did not open her eyes. She wanted what she had been dreaming to be real. Tess took a deep breath as she desperately tried to get into it. No luck. She then groaned as she rolled over, her skin rubbing against the coarse sheets.
The dream had been wonderful. Tess had been there with all her old friends who had been with her in Tykes' dreadful experimental chambers. Louie, Xena... but, as soon as she had opened her eyes, she had felt like crying, as they were not with her now.
Tess struggled out of bed and sat down in her chair, rubbing her hot cheeks. And then she remembered.
She had been feeling anxious as she had tried to get to sleep the night before. She had forgotten why, but now, as her mind was clea-ish from the regeneration (sleep), she remembered.
Jared had been taken prisoner. By Tyke.
Tess flopped her head as she felt the tears brim in her eyes. It had been her fault that he had been moved to one of Tykes' most nastiest 'chambers'. His prison.
"EX409F.. I know you're there..." Tess jumped as she heard a bold knock coming from the wall. As the vibration slowly moved throughout the house, which had been built with mundic block, part of the ceiling collapsed. Of course. This was expected from the aresnic house.
"Be wise. I tought you to be logical. Use your mind to calculate how long it is going to be until you the house collapses, and you die of arsenic poisoning."
Tess slowly crept to the wall, and put her hand against it as her ear met the thin wall. One word escaped her lips, "Tyke!"
Tyke stroked the wall, rubbing off the paint that covered the mundic blocks, "I've got back-up surrounding your house. They came while you were regenerating. You never heard it due to your stiff cycle. I planted something in your ear when you were first created - a sound killer. It is programmed to automatically start when you sleep. Explains alot, doesn't it?" He thumped the wall again. More arsenic crumbled from the ceiling. Tess shivered as dust surrounded her. She tried not to breathe.. this would be easy.. they were trained not to rely on oxygen.. they had chemical converters in their lungs..
"By the way, I don't think your biometric converter will.. covert arsenic."
Tess started to cough as the aresnic settled in her lungs.
"Give yourself up, or you will.. well, you can work it out."

New Lot Coming Soon!
I haven't published a new lot in awhile because I been crazy busy planning my wedding haven't really had the time but tomorrow will be my down time and I'm going to make two new starter lots. The last one I made for 14,850 was pretty popular and their fairly quick to make so I'm going to try and make a series of nice starter lots for you Sims on a tight budget so keep a look out for them :)

It's like a cancer that won't go away...
So, a few weeks or a couple of months ago...I think it was actually just last month or so, I was browsing the internet (well, I actually was pretty sure of where I wanted to be, I thinkl), when I got this pop up saying that my computer was infected with viruses. I know those are scams, so I think I tried to click off of it or get rid of it, but I must have done something wrong (I think), because the next thing I know my computer was taken over by a horrible malware/virus thing called Vista Guardian! Well, it was horrible. It blocked me from getting online in normal mode at first, and told me I had viruses in a bunch of places that should have been fairly safe, and wanted me to pay to 'get rid of them'. Then before I knew it, I couldn't use my computer's actual virus protection program, and when I went into the firewall, this horrible virus had taken it over! Well, in safe mode, I tried to get rid of it, and then when I tried to go into normal mode, I ended up with a blank blue screen, except for the virus. Back in safe mode (with networking of course), I managed to get some help online to 'get rid of it', but it's like a cancer! You know how you can cut it out, but it might not be fully gone, or it might still be there? Well, when I went back into my computer's normal mode, the virus didn't pop up, but I still had a blue screen. I went back into safe mode and did a restore, and finally the blue screen is gone.
Since then though, I've had my computer find a virus that, judging by the name, is the same virus that infected my computer. However, even after it was quarintined, and maybe it's unrelated, when I try to shut doown my computer, the screen blinks like a program's still trying to run or something, and occasionally when browsing the internet (just happened here on this site, actually), I get this url that has a bunch of numbers on it (and if anyone knows what the exact url is, please let me know so I can block it). I'm kind of scared because I tried to get the url to show up so I could copy and paste it, and I ended up going to the site of the url or something, which pretty much said there was nothing there, but not in the valid error type of way, and I'm worried that I put the virus in my computer again just now...
Anyway, it's some scarey stuff. I really don't wanna go through what I went through before, but I suppose whatever happens happens.

Today I decided to embellish a little bit of my profile page. I managed to create a banner, which I consider a great feat since the work with photoshop is not my forte. Well, but I did it. I hope you like it. I am personally happy. :))

New lots dedicated to Cyclonesue and Shakeshaft :)
Hi all,
I have just took a few days break from my "patterns frenzy" to create two lots.
My first lot is called "Trash Can Park". This is dedicated to Cyclonesue. It is a very dirty park with a barbecue area. It has no facilities for washing your hands or the dishes. No useable bins, so your Sims will have to chuck any rubbish on the floor. I wonder if any bugs and stuff will appear, when stuff starts to go off? Should be fun to see. Cyclonesue has very kindly suggested, that I use her new toilet that she has just created. This lot, will be released once I adjust the sims3pack to include the new object.
My second lot is called "Riverside blues holiday home". This is dedicated to Shakeshaft and includes her new "Richmond" set. It is a lovely set which makes me think of holidays by the sea. This lot is modern, bright and overlooks the river. This has just been released today, so you can go ahead and download it now :)
On to other news..........
I will continue with my "Pattern frenzy theme" for the rest of April, as I still have many patterns to upload. I created most of these last year, so I really want to get them all on here. It's such a waste otherwise. 1 or 2 may be just what your Sims are looking for :)
I will also be uploading all of my previously submitted lots that have subscriber items in. I will take out the subscriber items and replace them with standard game items. That way no one will miss out :)
Finally...... Twilight Castle has now been adjusted, so it is not such a huge file. It has now finally uploaded to TSR and is currently sitting in my uploads section. So that will be released soon, along with my medieval Sim "Lady Jane Grey".
Anyway, that's all for me, for now. Don't forget to bookmark me and check back often.

working on new meshes
Meshing takes much more time for me then making patterns or buildung houses. That's why the intervals between the updates are so long atm. But I hope that with more practise I become faster. ;)
Here are some pics what I'm working on. 8 new windows and a cover for old radiators are almost finished. I love old styled windows and furniture. :)
I want to make some full length windows and maybe a door too. And some window decorations like shutters and curtains. I hope that I get a grip on it. ;)
I have no idea about a name of this set. Any suggestions? :)

Brain Fart!
So, I'm watching a movie on the computer, and I'm also cooking dinner. I suppose what I'm making isn't important, but I'm boiling baby carrots and frying up a couple of boco burgers (because I'm a vegetarian.). Well, have a tv in my room, and I was watching it earlier, so the remote control's on the bed beside me, and my computer's on a stand in front of me (it's a laptop), so I can sit in bed while I'm on the computer. Well, anyway, I came back into my room and plopped my butt on the bed in front of my computer, and picked up the remote control, and pointed it at my computer. I was just about to press the 'play' button to unpause the movie I was watching, when I realized that I was watching a movie on my computer, and the remote wasn't going to work for that! It was like for a second I thought I was watching a movie on the tv...or something!
I also remember a few days ago how I blew my nose, and I threw my tissue into the bathroom sink instead of into the garbage can, whic is right next to it. It's a can that has a cover that you're supposed to open by stepping on this lever or whatever it's called, so it's not like I was playing 'shoot hoops' with the tissue! Aha! That's not the only silly thing I've done. I've also threw a fork into a trash can before, and once I put ice cream in the fridge and didn't even realize it until it was too late and the ice cream had melted! I've almost made that same mistake a time or two or more since too.
XD. Oh me oh my...Whatever shall I do?

Livin' Like a Sim
You know what I realized? No, I didn't just realize this now, but I realized it. I realized that while there are a lot of things that, even with custom content, sims don't do that people do in real life, there are a lot of things that they do that really happen in real life. For example:
I try to avoid some conversations in real life, because a bad conversation, even something so little as a bad conversation or a joke gone wrong can seem to 'reduce relationship points', or cause tension or stress in relationships and even cause bad feelings that could, if they worsen, ruin the relationship, so can gifts being rejected, and things like that.
Sometimes though, I find myself living like a sim. I watch my sims skip breakfast and lunch and settle with just dinner, sometimes a very late dinner. I used to find myself doing that a lot too, and will most likely in the future. Some times I still do that. I also find myself, like my sims, putting off cleaning until it seems like what needs to be cleaned really needs it, and then going on a cleaning spree. And like my sims, I don't tend to wear different clothes every day, though I'm trying to get my sims to do that now. I don't seem to need the social motive filled as often as my sims do, but I still tend to text with someone, call someone or talk to someone on the phone, or at least try to talk to my parents a little bit every day.
I also find myself staying home a lot, which is what my sims tend to do a lot when they're not going out on dates or to buy clothes to fill their wardrobe, and so on and so forth. Now, in the future my sims might be more outgoing, but what's the point of going to a community lot alone? It's just like, what's the point of me going into town alone? I do it occasionally, but it's not something that I'll make a point of every day.
It's weird though, how when I'm not playing the sims or some other video game, I seem to mostly be living like a sim. I watch TV when I'm bored, or even when I'm not. I tend to make my own meals and it usually is something like spaghetti or some sort of pasta, or veggie burgers, or pretty much something I could download as custom content. There's even a pasta and herbs, which is similar to something that I make (it's custom content), and am actually wanting right now, and I find myself baking cakes occasionally too, just not layer cakes. I also tend to order omelettes a lot when I go out to eat. It's funny how this stuff works, isn't it?
There's more to it, but I'm geting some blogger's block. Maybe I'll post more later. I kind of want to write something on a fansite that I'm trying to work on (it's going very slow. I haven't done enough to really put it up as a sims site yet, I think) that tells the differences between sims and real life, and similarities. I wonder if anyone would read it.
Back to doors and mugs
The one tile doors are finished, I've done the tweaking I wanted to do to the meshes and redid the multipliers. So the two tile doors should go quickly and I should have this set out soon.
And because I can't do one thing at a time, I've also been working on some Souvenir Mugs that Hadewych had the idea for. This has been fun as I've been having my Sims run around all the vacation spots so I can get the captures for these. I have two done, with I think four more to go.
Gee, can you tell what my favorite color is yet? *lol*
I've also started sketching out ideas for some jewerly for my alternative Sim boys, rings and necklaces so far. Never made these items before, so we'll see how it goes.
The SIms 3 Ambition
Second full expansion to EA's PC best seller adds career paths--both benevolent and ruthless--for players' sims to follow; iPod spin-off coming in late 2010; first trailer inside. As has been the case with every PC Sims game, The Sims 3 was a big hit. How big? In January, Electronic Arts claims its latest life-sim was the best-selling PC game of 2009, having sold 4.5 million units in the six months after its June 2, 2009 launch. "Ma'am, I'm here to help…or am I?" Though large, the Sims 3's haul was just a small chunk of the 125 million units that the Sims series has sold over its 10-year lifespan. The vast majority of those units have been expansions and add-on packs to previous Sims titles, which EA usually releases every few months. Today, the company announced the latest in its long line of Sims expansions, The Sims 3 Ambitions--developed by the internal Sims Studio. As the name implies, the Sims 3 Ambitions will let players give their virtual selves either a lofty or a low goal in their non-lives. Examples provided by EA were a stylist who can either exquisitely coif or hideously crop a neighbor's hair, a doctor who can heal the sick or use them for horrible experiments, a tattoo artist who can beautify or desecrate a customer's body, and a firefighter who can save a burning home or chop the interior into kindling. "That should fix it…" Being good or evil will provoke a reaction in the Sims community, according to Sims Studio manager Scott Evans. "Players actions at work now directly affect their lives, community, and neighbors and become an extremely important part of how the game is played," he explained. The second full expansion for The Sims 3 will ship this June, seven months after the first, World Adventures, hit the market. The iPhone spin-off of Ambitions will arrive later in the year.

Well, I seem unable to stop making paintings at the moment :-D...have another set up for download tomorrow(China2) and another in pending(France2)...I think I might do another two sets, Riverview and Sunset Valley again, then change the frame and do some more :-D ...until I get bored doing them ;-) ...
I may also, maybe, perhaps, make a gnome set ;-) ...maybe not... :-D
And a quick chocolate poll update ;-) ...milk is still in the lead...but dark has overtaken white and has now a substantial lead over it!! :-D Thank you to everyone for participating, I'm going to keep it up for a bit longer and try to think of another one ;-)

I've haven't touched Silver Canyon in over a month, and my DCCache folder sits on the desktop as I haven't touched Sims 3 in a long time.
I'm thinking of just stopping my Silver Canyon Project. I hate having to edit in game to create lots, and I wish I could just add flora easily, but I just can't. I think it's way to restrictive and not as easy as it could be.
I was perfectly happy with starting with nice templates in Sims 2 to create new towns, where the player could just add lots of various sizes where they saw fit. I dunno it's just burning me out.
Yay! I'm a millionaire!
A whole million downloads, mine all mine...wow! I just couldn't let this little milestone go by without uttering something so - WOOHOO!!!
It may not seem such a big thing considering the length of time I've been junking up the TSR database (5 years to be exact!) but for someone who mostly creates lots then it's not bad going! So I believe a big thank you is in order for those of you who have downloaded and enjoyed my creations and I hope you continue to do so.

Even MORE Screenshot Paintings....
I may have got a bit carried away making paintings today....I ought to be in bed as it's 1:30am and I have to get up just after 6:00am, but POOH to that!! I'm listening to extremely loud music and it really keeps me awake :-D! (I have it on headphones, I'm not killing the neighbours!)(Hmmm, nice thought though!)(Death by dance music)('It wasn't me M'lud') :-D...anyway..I've done three sets !! of paintings tonight...Sunset Valley, Riverview and Eygpt2...Simsjeanie asked very nicely :-D for Another Perspective as one of my new ones and I'm not one to deny anyone anything ;-) so here it is jeanie :-)...

I am finding that the darker pictures don't show up quite as well, but you might find if you view them at night time and have a light near them they look fine, or have your lights on in the day if you have a very dark room(not very economic or green friendly advice, I'm afraid) ;-)....

Well I've been on the island for over more then 3 weeks or so (not sure I barley know what day/date it is) I haven't worked yet because there's nothing to do at the moment, the shops, clubs, cafe's and most hotels are still closed. It's like an old western town LOL. The good thing is I'm still getting paid for it.
I already saw some nice property's that I can use for inspiration. If I've time I'll create and upload them aswell. Don't hold your breath because I can not carrentee that I'll upload. if not you'll have to wait untill I'm home in november. Adios Amigo's

POLICE CHIEF ANNOUNCES RETIREMENT
Old Town police chief Warren Gold has announced his retirement from his office. After protecting and serving our community faithfully, he has decided that he can better serve by moving beyond simply protecting to healing.
"It's not an outlandish change," Gold says. "Before I enlisted in the military at my parents' insistence, I had almost completed my residency and actually interviewed at several hospitals."
Although plans were laid for Gold to work at several military hospitals after completing basic training, he left the military and entered the police academy, from which he graduated with distinction. He then began his law enforcement career, culminating in his promotion to co-chief of Old Town at the mayor's request.
"He will be missed," says Gold's fellow police officer and co-chief, Vera Brown. "I wish him well in his new endeavors. If he devotes even half the time and energy that he did to his office, then Old Town's citizens will be well served...and healthier for it, too."
STONE FAMILY WELCOMES BABY GIRL
Mr. Percival "Percy" Stone and Ms. Cordelia Stone nee Dylans are happy to announce the birth of their daughter, Brenda.
Mr. Stone is the younger brother of well-known Old Town exorcist Miles Stone. He has one daughter, Sarah, from a previous marriage that ended in a mysterious divorce. The first Mrs. Stone disappeared while on a hiking tour in Patagonia and was not heard from for nearly a year, then sent divorce papers that had been filed in Marseilles, France, through a parcel service in Venice, Italy. Investigators were unsuccessful in locating her. However, handwriting analysts determined that the signature on the papers--which included a document ceding custody of her daughter and the surrendering of all visitation rights--was definitely written by the absent Mrs. Stone, and Mr. Stone was granted full custody of his daughter.
Mrs. Stone is the younger sister of Old Town theorist Kyle Jones, husband of the sister-in-law of Dennis Jones, the famous Broadway star. This is Mrs. Stone's first marriage and first child.
FORMER CHIEF DECLINES BECOMING CHIEF
Former police chief Warren Gold has declined the offer to become Chief of Hospital Staff at Old Town Memorial Hostpital.
Upon his retirement from the police force, Gold returned to the career he originally planned to follow, beginning as a medical technician rather than something higher, despite his prior qualifications. "Because of how long I've been out of practice," he says, "I want to start at the beginning again, to learn about all the new equipment and techniques that have become the norm since my prior residency. Not the Beginning-beginning, of course, not medical school again," he adds with a smile.
Gold came up for promotion following the discovery of a cure for a previously untreatable podiatric condition.
When asked by co-workers why he rejected his promotion, Gold answered that he didn't want to deal with "those issues" again. "Personnel...board of directors...investors...it's all little different from being Police Chief where instead of a board you're dealing with the town council, and instead of investors you're also negotiating with the town council. I'm happy to let someone else deal with that mess."
"He's good at what he does," fellow Medical Researcher Lucille Adonii comments. "Maybe it's from being in the military and in law enforcement, but he doesn't look at the data the same way most of the rest of us do. It lets him see and understand things that we miss simply because we aren't looking at it from the same perspective."
ANNOUNCING THE MARRIAGE

Mr. Gold is the youngest son of well-known exorcist and chairwoman of the Gold Group, Mrs. Jacqueline Gold. He is also the nephew of famous exorcist and philanthropist Jacques Verde. He is currently a nationally-published Fashion Columnist.
Ms. Blake is the younger sister of Ms. Virginia Trenton, of the Trenton family, Old Town's richest family. She is currently employed at the local circus with plans of becoming a Lion Tamer once she completes her training.

*Update* Eames dining (DCW) and living (LCW) chairs
As requested, I've posted new versions of my Eames chairs. They now have 3 re-colourable channels instead of just 1 so you can customise them even more. The polycount hasn't changed. They have been updated using the latest version of TSR Workshop so hopefully there won't be any patching problems. Note - The new chairs won't replace my old Eames chairs in the game so if you've got those installed you will just have to uninstall them.
The new chairs can be found on my downloads page where my old chairs were.
Sims2 Wallpapers & Sims3 Patterns
In future when I make a pattern for Sims3 I will make a wallpaper for Sims2 in the same design. My first two same patterns/wallpaper will be in the Gold Rush designs. These designs are available as a pattern for Sims3 now, but I will doing the Sims2 wallpapers shortly. Here is a preview of the wallpapers for Sims2..
