Chic Tiles Revisited

After a good idea and request from keedyboo18, I decided to create another set of tiles, this time in marble. They are the exact same shape and style as the original Chic Tiles, only changed to be marble instead of plain stone.

There are 4 pieces in the set: Large Square, Large Rectangle, Medium Square and Medium Rectangle. They are great to mix and match together to create interesting looks!

They are being published tomorrow!

Sorry it has been so long since I have uploaded anything!  Things have been busy here and I haven't had a lot of time for building.  I just finished one that will hopefully be finished soon and I have started another one.  Thanks for your patience and happy simming to all!!

New Moon in 6 days!!!!!!!!!!

      Hello! New Moon is going to be out in theaters here soon!! 6 days. I am going to see it November 21st. Tell me when you plan to see it. I love to hear anything about the 'twilight saga'. I am currently on the 3rd book eclipse. I didn't skip anything at all. I read the first book twilight in January. I read the second book new moon in March. I would have read it earlier but I was kind of reading the new Miley Book Miles To Go. Then I started reading eclipse in May. Then I quit reading it. Now I am back reading it.

Forgotten & Unfinished Houses

To the people who bookmarked me, I just want to say that I'm sorry I haven't posted much sims 3 lots in a while. Recently, I have had a lowering interest in creating lots, mostly because I find it such a hassle to upload them, and that there is hardly any good quality modern objects yet.

I intend on uploading a lot very soon that's called "Eco", for it's open floorpan and earth friendly appearance. It has bamboo all around it, even it the courtyard. Other than that, it will be some time before I make more lots.

Cakao Bedroom - Update

Hi everyone!

Been working on this for the past few days, and it's slowly coming together. There is still another dresser and a mirror that I would like add to the set, and then all that's left is the random deco stuff.

Here's a list of all the expensions of the Sims since 2000 the beginning of the era of the Sims

It's been 9 years since the first one came out: we had in those years 3 Sims games:

Sims 1 had 8 expensions

Sims 1 base game released in Februari 2000
Sims 1 Rich Life released in August 2000
Sims 1 Party released in March 2001
Sims 1 Hot Date released in november 2001
Sims 1 Vacation released in March 2002
Sims 1 Animals released in September 2002
Sims 1 Superstar released in May 2003
Sims 1 Abracadabra released in August 2003

Sims 2 had 8 Expensions
Sims 2 base game released in September 2004
Sims 2 University released in March 2005
Sims 2 Nightlife released in September 2005

Sims 3 has 1 expension

Sims 3 base game released in June 2009 (original was februari 2009 but duo bugs prosponend)

If you look at the list you'll see a pattern. there where 2 expensions each year (not counting the Stuff for the Sims 2 ofcourse. 1 is released early in a year and later in that year 1 other . Some ar diffrent the reason was mostley bugs in the game and therefor delayed.

The base game is always been released in februari exept the Sims 3 but The original date was FEBRUARI 20TH

I expect 8 expensions spread over 3 or 4 year so in 2012/ 2013 perhaps there will be a Sims 4 then it's a franchise in my eyes

If you see this I think we all know when to expect a EP (expension)

Some say it is a franchise already well I don't see it the Sims 1 Sims 2 Sims 3 are 3 games the Expensions are a extension of the base game and not a game aloneand the covers say it aswell EXPENSION a well that's my opinion

I'll keep updating this list when a new EP rises

Note that the expensions are similair but in a diffrent order released

I made some deco plates, like the one on the coffeetable. I've also adjusted the sofa so it's ok now. I will also work more on the wall lamp before it's finished.

Hi y'all! I just published my first Sims 3 sets! They are the Modern Living Curtain and Chloe Dining Collection. I am getting familiar with TSR Sims 3 Workshop and learning how to create the different types of textures, which are required for Sims 3 objects. I have to admit creating for Sims 3 is challenging, but it’s also a lot of fun! I can’t wait to start my next Sims 3 project; I think I'm ready to create something Victorian, LOL!

HELP! Break it or Fix it?!

*cough* ((pls take note that this has homosexual relationship issues content - no homophobic hypocrites allowed, thanks)) *cough*

Firstly, you can all call me Zen =] and well, Zen has a tinie lil problem. I've been in a relationship with a friend, let's call her Hibari (her last name), and so far, I'm not really that happy. No matter what effort I do to make things work for us, I always end up getting hurt.

When I arrange a date, a certain friend of hers always pops out - ALWAYS. Then few minutes later, they'll act like THEY're on a date and forget all about me.

Next is, she's friends with an enemy of mine. I really should be considerate and let her have time with that friend, but still. When she's with that friend, its as if she forgets about me...or even her other friends.

Third is when she said she'll help me shop for Christmas gifts, and then bailed out on the last minute coz she saw her own group of friends

Another one is when she went to the mall with this guy (also a friend of mine, which HURTS) secretly. She told me that she's still in school, while that guy texsted me that he's on the train when in truth is that they're together.

And now tonight, she never texted me a kind "hello, how are you?" but had the time to group message about her "happiness" of being allowed to go to some concert with her friends >_>

The list goes on...

I know that I should be considerate and let her be with her friends but she barely spends time with me...hell, we didn't even have a decent convo today.

If you're gonna ask how we end up...well that's a long story. But tell you what. I already had a long term crush on her. And that faithful night, when we got trapped at school...she chose to stay by my side over anyone else for the whole night - despite the fact that her "friends" are there. That's when I decided that I might as well give it a shot.

But now...it's more than choosing them over me...it's like I don't exist. D= sad~

Well any advice? ^^"

Family Cottage

I wanted to try a small family craftsman cottage that was base game compatible (for a change).  Easier said than done, considering I'm a custom-content fanatic, with, oh....  2,427 building modifications available in my library.  It was a tough struggle, especially since I didn't even want to use any EA expansion sets.  But I did manage to pull through, although I had to consult my design books more than once to get some cool colour combinations.

Okay, it's a bit more expensive than a starter home, but here is: a beautiful small-lot family cottage by Qube Design that is BASE GAME compatible. It's fully furnished and decorated with a sophisticated colour palette, but still comfortable for family living. Upstairs are 3 large bedrooms (the master suite features a fireplace and private sun-room) and a big family bath decorated in dramatic black and taupe. On the main floor, there is an intimate family living room / library with a cozy fireplace and French doors leading to the deck and pool, a large family dining room (with the requisite mirror for good Feng Shui), and a dramatic kitchen with attached breakfast room. The fully developed basement features a quiet study, gym, second full bath and home theatre room with a French door leading outside. A detached garage and fully landscaped yard compliments the cottage-like exterior built of stone and cedar shakes. The only custom content photographed with this lot is the art collection owned by my SIMs (sorry, I just couldn't help myself...  it's like candy... really...). Btw, I've already transplanted this house on a larger lot, and am working on wonderful lakeside retreat.

Latest Project Update

Hi everyone!  After spending several weeks dividing my time between three different projects, I am finally narrowing my efforts down to one.  Things are moving along smoothly.   I will make an announcement and post some preview pictures later today, so check back!  Until then "Happy Simming!" 

I'm Baaa-aaaaaack!

Funnily enough, work hasn't slowed down for me yet (it normally does this close to Turkey Day), but I've missed being here over the past few weeks and can't hold off any longer. :) I've just submitted my first TS3 community lot, which is pending approval right now. It fits really well into downtown Riverview - I had the plan a few weeks ago to give Riverview a complete makeover, including its center, but now that a tool for creating your own 'hoods has been announced, I think this is the last lot I'm going to make that has one particular neighborhood in mind. I'm planning on building my own neighborhood once that tool comes out, and when I do, I'm going to make sure all of my lots are a standard lot size (such as 20x30 or 40x40). If I DO end up making the size of a lot unusual, I'm going to make sure it's a size that fits in either Sunset Valley or Riverview as well. That way, no one will be forced to download my neighborhood to use my lots (if I even decide to put up my neighborhood on TSR, that is). Anyway, those are my plans for the future, and I hope you all will enjoy my upcoming community lot!

OMGosh!

And holy cow! I was approved! lol

First, I want to thank all the wonderful artists here at TSR for all the lovely content!

Second, I would like to apologize to them!  I submitted 2 lots yesterday, and it wasn't until after I had "talked" to Cyclonesue that I learned that the CC was included in the downloads, and that those "linkbacks" didn't mean that the downloader had to download that CC separately.  I frantically PM'd all the artists whose CC I used in the lots for permission to use said CC.  But, it was still after the fact, and for that I do honestly apologize, and it will not happen again!!

Cyclonesue explained a lot about TSRAA CC and all the assorted other bits-and-bobs, and for that I thank her!!

I thought the submission process would take many days, and that I, honestly, would be rejected for revision or some-such thing... but I woke up this morning to find that both lots I submitted were approved.  BOTH! Holy cow and OMGosh!

I can honestly say that "Clutter-free Living" took me almost 100 hours to complete - to my liking. And I hope to the downloaders liking too!  "Tumbledowns" took me over 50 hours to complete...  and I hope it's enjoyed too!

If anyone reads this, and you're not a subscriber {don't know if that's possible - for a non-subscriber to read this}... if the 2 lots are well received, I might strip them down of the FA custom content and submit a version for non-subscribers. 

For any "newbie" - like me - to submitting, ignorance of the "rules" is no excuse for not following the rules... and for doing just that, I am apologizing to the FA's and SA's and artists!  I am sorry.  Now, it will not happen again!

To Cyclonesue... THANK YOU for all the advice and help you have given me, and I will try not to bug you again! {Too much anyway ;)  }.. 

Thanks again to all the creators! Wonderful stuff!  You all make the game fun for people like me that are to computer illiterate to create our own custom content!

Does anyone know of any artisits that have created and Sports wear/Athletic wear for male and female sims?  I have searched for these items and haven't come across any as of yet.  Please let me know where to locate such items as there are so few in the game and they are pretty much generic and plain.  Thanks!    Diana

Story

Hi all.

I've finished the new chapter of my story about Tommy and Dutch Hall. I  know it has been a while but I've been busy the last few months and I couldn't concetrate enough to finish the new chapter but I've finished it, I also have submited it. So it will be out soon the next chapter will come out sooner then this one. I hope the readers of the previous stories will read the new one....

I've also submited the house that I use in the story, yes the ghosts are also present.....

So, the real reason why I havent wrote in a long time is because I am getting The Sims 3 on Veteren's Day so I met get a discount. Fortunella Living Add-ons Final ...

        I think it's finished. I will upload as soon as possible.

        I made 2 TV units. One of them cloned from coffee table. You can put something on it. The other one is only shelf. Decoratives are another object. You need "moveObjects on" cheats to bring together them. The set has a DVD player decor with DVD films. And........ I kept to the end, my favorite "flower chair". It is from my own home. I have 2 big flower puff.

       Floorlamp is from the "CarpeDiem".  CarpeDiem's beautiful work "Opal Lamp Set" is very compatible with the set. I hope you'll like everything. Happy simming...........

I have finished the coffeetable tonight and put it in the game. I made a Deco dish that's on the table, 3 recolorable palettes to create the table you like. I only need to adjust the sofa a little and the chair a little and these are ready. Here are previews of each vatiation.

Beach Loft

Welcome to Beach Loft, part of the Glass Qube collection from Qube Design. This small-lot home is designed for the corner lot along the beach in Sunset Valley. Even with a small 20 x 30 footprint, there is still maximum living in this ultra-modern home. Continuing along a similar design theme as 'Glass Qube', this home owes it's entire feel to the spectacular plate glass windows available at http://www.simpossible.net/buildobjects1.html The main entrance along the side of the home brings you right into the kitchen / dining room and overlooks the 3 storey glass atrium. The master suite on this level features innovative design, with a it's slick contemporary design softened by a wall of curtain behind the bed. The rosewood panelled ensuite features the gun-metal bath fixtures, double sinks, and a wall mount TV to watch while you soak. Just hit 100 today! My sincerest thanks to everybody!

Though it doesn't look like much is going on I have been quite busy, not only building but also making a robust attempt at meshing and object creating.  A personal thanks to Gosik for working with me on that issue. Haven't actually made anything yet but I've learned a bunch.

Suggestions? Ideas? PLEASE REPLY UNDER THIS BLOG ENTRY IF YOU DO.

If anybody has any ideas of items of clothing I could make and/or themes for my future clothing, please post under this blog entry with your ideas and suggestions, and if possible, pictures of clothing and/or themes that you want included or using in the texturing of the clothing.

Thinking I may post a new poll up later on today asking what people want to see more of with regards to clothing etc from me as well.

Hopefully, today, I am going to start dabbling in editing meshes in Milkshape. URK! I'm sure I'll come out with some...err...interesting results. Should be fun though.

I already have two new pieces of clothing held back and ready to post when I next do an update (which should either be later today or tomorrow)...got a few ideas of my own to make into clothing, make some more Sims and then do a big, supersized update!!!

Oi.. I haven't messed with Sims 3 for a while. Tried messing with some of the new community released content. Good stuff.

This set is based on warm colors, a dash of pink. Trying to see if I could get pink to go dark/ambient on the first one - also mix with some semi matching green for her secondary palette.

The sleepwear is semi-nsfw. It's a similar palette as the casual but a much lighter yellow/green (looks kooky at full saturation).

It is hard to believe it is November already. A couple of weeks there will be turkey and then decorating for Christmas. The time is just flying by.
