Good news and Bad News
Good new is, I now have a new PC so making Sims things will be so much easier.
Bad news is, I have just purchased Sims 3 so I'm a little busy playing the game at the mo...sorry *cheesy grin*
I may have a go at making Sims 3 things, but for those who have Sims 2 I will be making more clothes soon. I have a few ideas in mind, like t-shirts from the TV series Prison Break (just got into the series and Im addicted...can't believe they cancelled it!)
Canal Street...Tricky Stairs
Well, personally I like Canal Street very much, that's also why I moved my Simself there... I did some major re-arranging to create room for another stair leading up to second floor, thus creating 3 new rooms...Maybe I'll re-upload the expanded version, have to tell my Simself to pack her bags...She won't be happy...

July 'Free' Schedule
I have placed the following sets to be free in July on these dates:
1 - Subway Lighting (both base and AL)
8 - Subway Bench and Subway Trash Can
15 - Subway Floor and Subway Wall
23 - Subway Advertisement Light and Subway Grafitti
As for NEW sets, I have three in the works at the moment for Sims2:
- Recolor for the Gargoyle set in dark green marble.
- Frames for the Panorama window set like the ones I did for the Nile Dreams set.
- A solid wall type recolor/new mesh of the sloped Nile Dreams window. Haven't decided which looks better yet ;-)
A little disturbing!
Well Ive been enjoying playing the sims3 but have just discovered the ghost babies! Now I know not all of you will agree, it is just a game after all but I personally find this creepy and feel that EA has gone a step too far. I know my game wont be featuring any ghost bubs but Im curious as to what others think? Best regards Midnight
Operation/Absence update
Hi all,
Just a little note to say that I am still missing you all out there. I hope to get back to uploading stuff for you all again soon. I am still stuck in England and having to wait for scans and tests etc. Once I am sorted, hopefully my operation will be scheduled.

I'm sorry that i havent been uploading any new lots yet. i'm a bit of a perfectionist. i'm currently working on a couple new lots. i'll try to hurry up and complete them and test them out so i can have them upload by the end of the month. Two new sets!
Two new sets will be available for download tomorrow. Part 2 of the MH Kitchen as well as a small pack of countertop recolors. I'm currently working hard on the next full set release in the MH Collection. I'd like to get at least two full sets done this summer. In the mean time, I will also be releasing full kitchen recolors over the course of the summer. I already have three completed and I plan on doing a Dirty Pretty Things recolor of the kitchen like I did for the MH washroom set (but that one I have yet to start on).

Hollywood Night
Last thusrday I had my final.
It was great everyone had a good time in the afternoon thank god we had really good weather. But the Hollywood party was Amazing can't believe I pulled it of with 3 other classmates after 6 months preparing . pictures will be avalible soon on my hyves & facebook for the ones that want to see it ask me for the adresses of my page's. I'm very happy with the results. Monday I'll know if I passed this part of my graduation. Cant'wait.

If I had my wishes for the world:
The only time animals would be shot is with a camera! (unless it's a tranquilizer dart or tag or medicine like a vaccine for the benefit of that animal or the species)
People would never use violence against their fellow creatures.
That we learn to judge people by who they are vs. what they are or what they have/don't have.
That children grow up knowing only full bellies & a happy and loving home with respect for their planet, it's people animals & natural beauty
That everyone take greater care to do what they can to save our planet! (it is the only planet within several galaxies that can sustain life. We NEED to protect the plants & animals & thier habitats & reduce our impact on this planet if we hope to have any hope for futre generations)
And if a cure for disease & pain could be found just by wishing that'd be AWESOME! ;)
Life
Life has been exceptionally interesting for me to say the least, in the past few months. Beginning with the unexpected death of my Father-in-law on Easter. We then lost a close friend of my husband's in a plane crash and shortly thereafter witnessed a horrible accident where my husband was the first person on the scene. But through it all our first grandchild was born! I was lucky enough to spend two weeks with her the first of this month. I just wanted to share a little real life with friends who contact me here and through personal email. Blessings to you all! Life is short. Have you ever thought about the question.. where do I plan to spend my after life? When you are smacked in the face with the reality of the loss of your loved ones, you think about it.

AGGGH!
I swear to God, my laptop screws up every five seconds. I had to take off all the sims 2 games off my laptop to sort it out. Then I find out it wasn't the games fault. I went mental! Nevermind, I backed up the games, so may be I won't have to start at the beginning again. Tomorrow, I'm lending my friends games to reinstall them. Thanks Chels. A new update may be soon.

As a few of you know I am going to do some mayor redecoration of my house, so I might not be so much around. On the other hand i might need some time of from it so you never know. Right now I having some trouble submitting, but hopefully it will be solved soon.
Uh-oh! Writer's Block
ahaha...well...well...well, WELL. I don't exactly have writer's block since I know what I'm going to write...however, I couldn't bring myself to write it. I don't know why, it's one of the most interesting chapters but I don't know what's wrong...I guess couldn't put it in words. The scenarios are decently clear, but I guess I'm just not used to writing this new genre yet ^^" (note: Lorelei is multi-genred) so yeah...the next part may take a while though XD but I'll get to it soon.
New patterns for Sims 3

After a pretty instense week (and all my love to my siblings who took such awesome care of our parents who both ended up in hospital at the same time), I have created a few patterns (while waiting on phone calls!!). The energy and passion creating these are dedicated to them - I love you guys, you are sooooooooooo awesome.

Stuff Pack Poll Results
Here are the results of my latest poll which ran between 7 April and 19 June 2009. Thank you to the 274 people who participated. The question was "Which is your favourite stuff pack?"
As you can see, the final stuff pack, Mansion & Garden Stuff, was the runaway winner with 20% of the votes, way ahead of the runner up, H&M Fashion Stuff with 13% of the votes. The least popular packs were Happy Holiday Stuff, Family Fun Stuff and Celebration! Stuff with 4.36% of the votes each. The more recent packs fared better - which could mean that either these packs still had novelty value or perhaps Maxis just got better at making stuff packs as they went along!
FinallyI have Sims 3 creations coming. :-)
I have finished several patterns and built my first house for Sims 3. I'm quite thrilled about this. I had such a chore getting my game to install. With the help of some wonderful TSR folks who helped me out in Chat. It was discovered that my DVD disc has some issues. I figured that had to be the problem after I bought a brand new drive and the game still would not install. After some wonderful instructions, I copied the DVD to my C: drive and ran the exe from there...Yes! It worked like a charm! I dashed back to Chat and gave out virtual hugs and many thanks.
Unfortunately, I still have not reinstalled my Sims 2. I plan on doing that over the weekend. I have some creations ready for that game as well. I haven't actually played Sims 3 yet. I've been too busy trying to get my first creations together. Ha Ha Ha! I even managed to make a self-Sim. lol
I have a huge grin on my face right now. Since all Sims3 submissions must be approved first, I'm not sure when they will be published. Only a couple of more tweaks for my lot and I'll submit all of them together.

I'm still around. To be honest I haven't opened Sims 2 since I got my Sims 3 game.
I still have some more Sims 2 creations to upload before I run out, but then I have to decide if I want to do both or just Sims 3 or what. I really like the Sims 3 game and while it has some quirks yet, I much prefer it to Sims 2.
That said, I like the look of Sims 2 better. Seems to be much more versatile in terms of what is possible.
I'm also excited because I'm getting a shiny new PC which should be here in a couple of weeks. It will be more than able to handle both games well. The only drawback is I have to get everything installed. Not looking forward to that.
So what do you folks think? Are you all going over to Sims 3? Are you all staying with Sims 2? (Heidi, we've already discussed this.)
I just submitted another Sims 3 lot, my third. Hopefully I'm improving. We'll see what you think.
Having fun creating patterns for you. Will try some more advanced ones this weekend.
Nurseries are on hold for a little bit. I need to get a bit of inspiration in that department. Maybe if I play the game with some children in it, I will have more of a feel for it. I've played with kids before, though. Never thought much about what thiings looked like during that time as I recall.
Well, it is very late and I have to sleep at least a little. I'll talk more about everything with you later.

Sims 3 Time!
Haven't updated my blog in ages! Thanks to everyone who bookmarked me or left me comments on my shots. It's much appreciated. Playing Sims 3 is quite addicting isn't it? Fun factor is there and reminds me strongly of Sims 1. Stuff that they did not add to the Sims 2. I might venture on creating styles for the Sims 3 and submit my works here. As for RL, I need a lot of catching up to do in my job, feel free to check out my Sims 3 styles in my Sims 3 page in the meantime.

Hey everybody!!! So I havent fallen off the face of the earth, no, instead I'm here at camp working myself to the bones! *sigh* I've been settling for sims 3 and I must say that the gameplay is quite unique compared to sims 2. I will still be creating, writing, and making screenies of sims 2, as it is my favorite in comparison. However, I am loving building for sims 3~and the graphics of the screenies are pretty cool too.
while i'm at camp, you'll see a lot of new uploads coming from me. I'll be checking out tsr's new workshop and trying it on for size;) I also have a new story coming up!!! I have yet to start it, but the ideas are rolling!! I've uploaded some screenies tonight previewing it, PLEASE READ THE CAPTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh, AND OF LOVE & LUST IS NOT OVER. I'VE WRITTEN BOTH EPISODES 5 & 6 AND I WILL HAVE THEM UPLOADED AS SOON AS I GET HOME. BE LOOKING FOR THEM AFTER JULY 4TH (MY LAST DAY OF WORK). THE LAST TWO EPISODES ARE REALLY AWESOME!! GET EXCITED!! :)

I thought it would be best if I drew up a few ground rules regarding my Sims 3 patterns. Please read this post before downloading or using my patterns. Thank you! You may to everything but please, DO NOT;
* Upload my patterns to any other site, or upload different colours using my patterns as a base,
* Upload or include my patterns with any furniture, sims, walls or lots anywhere other than TSR,
* Use any parts of my base patterns for any other textures or patterns.

Ghost Jane is still preggers. I haven't had much time to play lately so I've yet to see the baby, but other Sims will happily pat Jane's belly and coo at it. It's kind of freaky -- see my most screenshot "Eilram and Dead Pregnant Jane" for one example.
Things around the house are still breaking like mad. I can't tell if this is the effects of the ghost or not, re
ally, because this is the only household I've really played and it's always seemed a little "cursed" to me -- the stereo, computer, and TV all broke the first time anyone used them after moving in. Ghost Jane is quite the mechanic though, so she just busies herself fixing things as they go. She's also been slowly working on upgrading everything to "Unbreakable", which should be nice.
Meanwhile, my lot submissions are seeming to go OK, but I cannot manage to get a pattern accepted. I've made two so far and have tried twice now to submit one of them, but it's just not going well. My pattern was rejected the first time for not tiling properly, except it does, so I went and double- and triple-checked it (yep, tiling fine!), then resubmitted it with additional screenshots. The first time I'd just submitted it with a screenshot of the pattern on clothing from CAS, so I thought having it on a wall and a bed, too would be good and perhaps that was the problem with the first submission. I put together an image showing it as a bedspread and a wallpaper, and a dress and a robe, and submitted that only to have it rejected because, "We require you to submit an image that shows how the pattern tiles on a surface or clothing."
Argh, but I did, I did, I did! It doesn't seem the reasons are matching up with things that are actually wrong with the pattern. It's very frustrating. I'm going under the assumption for now that it's just a glitch in the system and it will hopefully be worked out (I know that when I previewed my second submission the screenshot took several seconds to load off TSR's image server -- someone moving through sumbissions quickly might never have seen the screenshot unless they had it open for at least 10 seconds). I hate to whine about it, but it is just very discouraging. And I'm a whiner, too. Perhaps it's the rainy days keeping me inside and making everything seem dull that makes it just all seem so very dire, eh?
TS3.com Drama
For those that have sent me a friend request on TS3.com, I am not ignoring you or denying your requests. I have sent emails left and right to EA trying to get this issue resolved, but I cannot log in. It tells me I don't exist...even when I use the username and password sent to me by the site.
I got an email from someone at EA and I was told that my TS2 account seems to have been deleted and that they do not have the authority to delete accounts. Wait...what?! I am not talking about a TS2 account...
I recieve 20 and 30 emails a day from the site telling me about friend requests and whatnot, my account can't possibly be deleted...not too mention I never had a TS2 account in the first place. Also, I still see my account and all the creations I made at the Creator's Camp. The account is not deleted, I assure you.
I was able to log in without a problem until they launched the 'public' TS3.com. But, oh well...looks like no one is willing to fix the issue, so I do apologize for everyone that's sending 'requests' my way. I can't log in to approve them...
Sims 3 Lots
Hi,
Just a note to let everyone know, at the moment my site is not showing a lot category for the Sims3. I have at this point one lot published, but you will have to look for it through the main site until my category gets added. I tried to add it as a feature, but so far it is not showing up that either. So here's a few pictures..
NEW Expensionpack 3
What would you lik ein the new expensionpack of the sims3?
I would like aan expensionpack with a lot of victorian decorations. A nice victorian fireplace, victorian arches, a lot of victorian furnishing and verry much wallpapers.
Also a nice ceeling and cornishing would do. The thing is, I want to create the large mansion of London-city, like the neighbourhood at crystalpalace. Also I would like to create the large mansions down the British coast. Well I love to hear from you so please leave a comment.

My youngest son graduated last night!!!!!!
Well, I'm so proud I could burst, my youngest son graduated from high school last night! He is a hard worker, and took extra classes, plus did volunteer work after school and on the weekends, and played football in junior high school. He plans on taking a short break, then he will be going into the job corp and will be taking up welding, he loves children and wants to have a family some day when he can afford them. Now we all know that it's expensive to raise kids, and if you wait til you can affors them, you would probably never have kids, but at least he has a plan in effect, and is thinking about his future, at his age(17), I wasn't sure what I wanted to do with my life, so I'm really proud of him for thinking things through, and for having a plan! The following pictures are of my son David, my husband and I and my middle son Jon. Enjoy!

I have decided that during my own experience of trying to make patterns and experimentation, I would blog what I had learned. I use both PSP X2 and Photoshop and will be experimenting with both programs.
