Why me?
I can't publish Chapter 8 because my laptop has decided to take a hissy fit and blow up. I will try to publish it but I need the pics and I will try to find out what is wrong with my computer.

Building Country Cottages & Playing the sims!!!!! WHAT FUN!
I am so fascinated with building country home/cottages that I am started to think I need to do this for a living and get paid. Well don't you need a degree for that? I do enjoy the sims 2 so much that when I get home from my morning job I automatically put the game on and build as much as i can and try to upload them when I am done. But its hard to do because I am now just getting the hang of uploading and submitting my creations. I plan on someday to make custom content, but I enjoy all the TSR creators that I am just happy and thankful for the great creations they make! So I am hoping to finish building homes! I actually when to Lowes and bought a Home Plans book to help me out with my fascination of Country homes. So maybe I can give one sim a good country home one day?

COMPUTER UPDATE
We managed to get the graphics card replaced in the desktop computer. We did this on Monday. Today, we hooked everything up...and still nothing. The monitor wasn't showing anything...and the CD drive spit out and in, and my Mansions & Gardens disc wasn't in it anymore. After a minor heart attack, we determined that the reason the CD drive was going in and out was because my M&G CD was jammed all kinds of wonky inside.
So, we hurry the computer back tonight. The guy who repaired it last night, didn't tell us there was a new place we were to plug the monitor into...thanks, dude. So, that was no big deal. However, the CD drive is a whole different story. He had to take the drive completely out and pull the M&G CD out...thus destroying the CD. But, now the disc drive is wonky, too. It skips really bad and needs replacing. Great...I headed to Wal-Mart and bought a brand new M&G Stuff Pack...
My computer...brand spankin' new...arrives to the store on Monday. I'm headed down that night to pick it up. When this new computer gets to my house, I'll begin to install all the EP's and SP's for Sims 2...and then start moving my programs and files over from the other desktop computer. So, hopefully...by this time next week, I'll be back to normal.

Update--Massive Problems
Hey all, i know i said i would have more houses uploaded soon...
but....
I hurt my back this past week and been living off the pain meds the doc gave me. Today is the first day i've been able to even get on the comp for more than 5 mins.
So...the other problem is, the next house i'm working on is two parts. In fact its my house i'm living in. Im doing one before we remodel and one after. The problem i am having is doing the basement. I downloaded a guide for it off of here, but having problems with it. No matter how i do it, the lines dont match up to the drawings. It just seems like the one side doesn't need to have an extra block but the other side does. I spent three hours on it today and still can't get it. Doesn't help that we have an angle part of the house....so any suggestions or help would be so much valued at this point. IM STARTING TO HATE LOOKING AT THIS HOUSE lol.
Also in case ya all didnt' notice before now, I'm not good at spelling and i hate using spell check.....so yeah...bear with my mispellings and that..I maybe 27 but i still can't spell.
Soon as my back is better I'll try and get the one house i do have down up..ur gonna love this one. I built around a willow tree..the house is huge, but beatuiful. Still in the decration faze of it LOL.

how is everybody? So i have just read a bunch of my gbook entries & im wishing i could respond to everyone right now but school is kicking my butt..i havent been able to start episode 4 bc of this big project im working on! luckily, its due tomorrow so i can relax after that. and on thursday i have to go to an Honors Society Induction ceremony:) how exciting! but anyway, just wanted to give yall a head's up. i see that my newest creation has been uploaded today to my 'upcoming items' pod..exciting!

Hey everyone im back, soon you will have for download a Mischa Barton sim and the two recolours on the summerbrise skin.
And since there where some trouble with the download of my Jennifer Aniston sim and Marko's Hair mesh, this Mischa Barton sim will have two versions one with the hair that will require Marko's mesh, and another version with a maxis hair so that everybody can download it trouble free :D

New Computer!
Hey everyone!
I haven't been around much lately, regretfully. But this is because I got a new computer! Well, my fiance got a new computer, which means I GOT A NEW COMPUTER! HAha, and it runs the sims like a dream. I'm in the process of installing all my expansions and stuff packs on it, and I loaded it up after installing Seasons (an expansion that kicked my systems butt graphically) and it runs so amazingly that I don't think I could ever play the game on this ole laptop anymore. Hahaha. So, yeah, I'm installing like crazy, transferring all my saved files and downloads, and then I shall be back in action. I miss creating for you all! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter. I appologize for missing this month's poll question, but I'll be back next month with a brand new one. Till then, keep on simmin'.

Broken Links
It has come to my attention that a lot of my sets have broken links. I am very sorry about this, this is due to one of the sites I got a lot of meshes from revamping their site and changing where things are. I have several requests already in to TSR to release those sets so I can change the links, but so far, I am not getting any response.
So, my friends, until I can fix the links, if you download one of my creations, then go look for the mesh and find the link to it broken, just pm me, and I'll shoot you the correct link. Again, I am very sorry about the hassle. Hopefully, I can get it fixed soon.
A little while
I am trying to write regularly here although I was never one to keep a diary! I've been spending time recolouring in the texture challenge and having a good ol time playing the sims2.
Well thats it really .... boring huh ..... bet your wondering why you even bothered reading it .... I know in the back of your mind your saying .... what ??? thats IT??? Well yep it is! so :p

I have been trying to upload a new avatar for the past 30 minutes and for some reason it keeps telling me the image is to small less than 100x100. When in fact the image is 200x200! So I finally gave up on my new avatar and decided to put the old one back up, but it tells me that one is too small too! Does anyone have any idea why this could be happening or has anyone experienced something similar?
Any help would be appreciated!!

New Dress Set Out Wednesday!
My Patriotic Dress Set will be published Wednesday! I suppose Wednesday can be considered a "sort of" patriotic day, since you must have your taxes paid to Uncle Sam by then, or risk the government becoming very angry with you to the point of probably arresting you! Of course some people have overpaid taxes to the government throughout the year, which means they will get a refund! Definitely a good thing. But to me, besides being Income Tax Day, Wednesday has another meaning.....Its my birthday! Yes, I'm 155 years old! Look pretty good for my age, don't I? ;) Also, I have started working on a new furniture recolor set---I guess it is going well so far--time will tell, and I'll keep you (the two whole people who read my blog) posted!
Aha might have sorted the problem...I think
I borrowed hubbys mouse mat (the special one he uses for gaming) and that seems to work for my optical mouse. So I think that could be the problem, heres hoping I just need one of those mats (with the rougher surface) At the moment I either use the dining table with my naff mouse mat or my laptop table without a mat if Im watching a movie or something.
If this does sort it, I have a fair few good ideas for my childrens clothes. I also promised my daughter I would make her a mario T-Shirt for her Sim. (she loves Super mario Kart, and is so much better than me)
I also thought a few summer tops for ladies would be great, as our UK weather is perking up a little (may be Im speaking too soon on that one) :)

Hi! I hope everyone had a wonderful Easter holiday! i know i did!
So i managed to fix my computer--idk what happened..but my game works okay..it just takes FOREVER to load (?) i dont suppose its the 15,000 files of cc..? lol.
okay so i was wondering if anyone might have this same problem..i installed the sims 2 on my laptop & i dont want to redownload all my cc--i just have way too much stuff (but its all great)--and i tried to copy my downloads folder to a DVD-rom (bc theyre bigger than CD-roms) and for some reason--some of the files wont copy..any ideas?

First Blog
I have been simming for quite a few years but have never had the nerve to post. So her goes.
It seems the treasure hunt has had me side tracked from my usualy amount of times devoted to game play. I have been lucky enough to find 12 out of 13 but have to admit I have no idea where to look for that last chest. Oh well, it was fun trying. The hunt has been very informative. I have had the chance to read quite a few of the tutes and forum postings and gained some valuable insite into the creative side of simming. I stand in awe of all of you creators and the art you create. And let me tell you it is art!!!! With that said I would like to thank everyone out there whose downloads have added many enjoyables hours to my simming experience.

I really like making sims, it makes me happy, so usually I play my own. I thought that I'd actually play the alien sim Stella Terrano for a change. So far it's been fun. She's a knowledge sim so I maxed out that tree in the aspiration rewards so she'd be able to summon aliens.
It didn't work. I found it both funny and sad.
Spring Cleaning..
Hey i was just wondering if any1 new of a program or something i can use to clean out my downloads folder. I dont want to delete everything but there is alot of junk in there i dont use so i need to need to get rid of it to make my folder smaller and make my game run better. If any1 could offer some help i'd appreciate it!

Hello everyone!
I know, I know....it's been forever. Here's why:
1) Moved into a new apartment.
2) Reformatted the computer in order to install Windows 7 beta (which is AWESOME so far, by the way). As a result, I'm having to reinstall my game, which is taking an eternity.
3) I went from having "bunny ears" in the old apartment to having actual cable TV in the new one, so please excuse my frequent breaks from "simming" in order to catch episodes of A Baby Story, What Not to Wear, and Jon and Kate Plus 8.
I have sooooo many plans. I've been sketching some new lots on graphing paper while the computer has been down. Sad, I know. Thanks SO MUCH to those of you who have left comments and guest book entries in my absence. It has not gone unnoticed - I will be thanking you individually here in the very near future. I do hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the spring (or fall, if you're south of the equator)!
Some New Stuff

These are the natural colurs of the surreal ones I plan to make later on. This is also my first go at doing eyes. The Moonlight Secrets eyes were too I guess, so this is my first go at real eyes!

Been away for so long and come back with a rant
Had this new laptop for a while (after my Dell didn't want to work for any more-my dad now has the thing and its working fine...typical) The touchpad on here is rubbish, everytime I try and play on the Sims my cursor freezes. Even after pressing all the right keys it wont work again..which means restarting. Its even worse when I try and make clothes for the Sims, so I have had to give up for a while. Which is a shame, as I loved designing and making all of the items..and loved it even more when all of you downloaded them.
I have tried using a mouse, but for some reason it still lags to hell. It is soooo annoying!! Come back my Dell....all is forgiven. Really would love a new laptop, especially one that can play Sims 3...now where is that lottery ticket.

Another Month, Another Lot
I have built another lot, and believe it or not, the building of the lot itself (floorplan and walls only, not the furniture, landscaping, etc.) took only 30 minutes! That, by the way, is a new record for me. :) The lot will be a residential lot named 135 Louis Lane; the lot is meditaranian in style, and is one of my favorite lots that I have ever built. I plan to sumbit the furnished and unfurnished versions of the lots either later today or early tomorrow, so be on the lookout! :D I hope that you all enjoy playing the lot as much as I enjoyed building it.

HELP!
*cries* omgosh..so my game has decided not to work..again. last night it worked fine! & today i put a few of my files that i created in SimPE in my downloads folder & i went to run the game..and it didnt work. i deleted the .cache files & the game ran..up until where the blurbs are supposed to scroll across the screen. i think it just froze after that..so i just tried restarting it over & it never fully loads..except once! but then it froze when i went into a lot. ugh. im so frustrated! someone please help. i deleted the files that i installed today..but it's not helping! :(
Building Caves/True Sunken Basement
Hey everybody! I've been gone for a little while. Unfortunately, not too long ago, my computer crashed, and I lost everything. Since then, I have had the chance to really work on my last set, which I hope to get back to work on soon.
However, I have come out with a new tutorial, which is at TheSims2.com. This tutorial teaches you how to create true sunken basements without having the sloping ground around it. In addition, using the technique presented in the tutorial, you can create houses built into caves. Houses can really be under the ground!

Just a little ol' bitty update...
I went back to the specialist on Thursday for more ultrasounds, and as of right now...everything is clear and endometrioma free! That's enough to make me want a piece of cake with extra sprinkles to celebrate! :P
I went up to a big electronics store and found the computer of my dreams for a GREAT price, and also found a combatible graphics card for Lovey's parent's computer. If all goes smoothly, I'll get the new computer in the upcoming weeks and the graphics card and switch my files over, and start writing and submitting again. Something else to make me want cake with extra spinkles! :D
Today is also Day One of Lovey and I building our own house. :eek: Yeah, scary thought...the tree guys have been here for about 6 hours now clearing the land. I have a world of pictures and I'm just so darn excited. Hopefully, if all goes well...we'll be in our own house within the next year! All the more reason for that cake and extra sprinkles... ;)
