Hey!

Tonight I have uploaded seven screenshots (or at least I think it was seven) so please check them out and give me some feedback!

I had hoped to complete and upload one of my stories tonight..but unfortunately I had to spend the day cleaning, prepping for my mother-in-law's visit.

So, now that everything is spotless (sort-of) I hope to work on my stories and complete (AT LEAST) one by tomorrow..but who knows??

Also, I submitted a house a few days ago to TSR..i'm still awaiting its approval so have patience but please come check it out and give me some feedback when it shows up.

but mostly...THANKS TO ALL THE PEOPLE WHO HAVE BEEN GOING OUT OF THEIR WAY TO GIVE ME SOME KUDOS AND COMMENTING ON MY PICTURES--IT BRINGS A SMILE TO MY FACE AND I LOVE TO HEAR WHAT YOU HAVE TO SAY!!!!

Duhh!1

I just realized that I failed to save either my homecrafter files, or my packaged lot files so I am going to have to download my own community lots when I go to recreate Paradise Park after my computer is fixed. This is just stupid.

I can't Wait Until my Computer is up and running again

I have some ideas percolating in my head for a new lot. After the computer crashed and burned I did rescue my downloads folder meaning I have all of the buid stuff I downloaded here and at Mod the Sims. I want to do something with Dots Invisible Columns - and it could be fun - so much more space. Maybe if I could find invisible stairs as well.

also someone has send me a comment accusing me of stelling The Rachel hair set! Its not true and by this i can only imagine that someone has stole my creation and markos hair mesh! so please if anyone has seen the hair posted anywhere besides my minisite let me know i really want to find out who is behind this.

Approved of but disapproving of.... lol

Well, I was happily sad to see I wasn't the only ones with problems. I knew I wasn't, but sometimes you do feel you are.  Either way it's nice when fellow sufferers can join together and comfort each other.

My one set of carpets seems to have been approved and another wall/flor set is pending. I am currently working on some vintage-feel walls and hope to have those up soon.

Lost In Left Field

Sorry I disappeared for a while... I just celebrated my 23rd birthday (or maybe I should say worried about it) =P

I'll doing some more building here pretty soon, right now I'm taking the Curious Family in Strangetown to all kinds of messiness.  lol

They were all abducted once or twice and have a bunch of alien little ones.  I like how my game chose custom content hair for the toddlers.  It was cute.  =)

I've got some more celebrating to do tonight, but I should be back at the building here soon, and I'll post my flip this sim episode.

Keeping The Roof Up

Taking a short break from the Panorama windows to work on some columns TUG suggested. They are my BIG! column's cut in half diagonally. At first I thought I'd just be doing the one straight diagonally cut one. But once I got into looking at it, other possibilities began to appear!

There will be 3 sizes. One full tile, one small (sits against walls properly), and a very small (sits away from walls as in the above preview).

I'll make recolors to match the original BIG!Column set, but am also playing with some new ideas.

Panorama Windows Update: I want to create as many build possibilites as I can with this collection, so there are more sets on the way: top row, middle row, bottom row, top and middle, middle and bottom.

I'm also going to do top and bottom rows, leaving wall space in the middle. This has reminded me of another "I've always wanted ideas", which is to have a TV built into the wall with as little profile as possible. I don't know if anyone has done this and I simply haven't come across it, but I think it would be cool to create one that will fit nicely into the space between the top and bottom rows of windows.

Also, I 'think' I've come up with an idea I like for matching Panorama Doors, I just need to try it and see if it will work as I want it too.

And, yeah. I think that's all going to keep me busy for awhile. Oh! I also had another window idea, very different. But again, won't know if it will work until I get the time to try it out. ;)

A new day

Today I'm feeling inspired. Unfortunatly I don't have time to create anything today. I will probably take pictures of my tops I mentioned in my last blog entry later today or tomorrow.

Bad downloads ARRRGGGHHHH!

There is nothing i hate more than finding a cool item for sims then downloading and installing it ..only to find it freezes your game or crashes it! ARRGGH. Last night I downloaded several cool itmes - awesome new building stuff ( so i could have variety when building ) Sure enough game wouldnt start. So i went into my downloads folder and starting slowly one by one stripping away and uninstalling each new item and then see if I could start my game. Eventually i had to uninstall EVERY new thing then the game ran .. BUT i discovered somewhere along the way in my stripping down i deleted other stuff that i had wanted !!!!! Drive me bonky!! Triple GRRRR!

Some of the things I lost i cannot remember where i got them from but thankfully i have several of those build itmes included in two new lots I have coming out sunday. So i can just get them once i re-download my own houses!

But I am ticked right off and so i think i am going to totally strip down everything and re-install the games themselves again and start from scratch again. After the christmas episode of this same nonsense i got smart and copied all my fave files to another location so i can just move them over once i re-install :) Too soon old .... too late smart ..

Thinking about re-installing etc i am torn about whether i should just have furniture downloads ( with some windows and accessories etc for preview pictures) for recoloring furniture OR just build itmes. The problem arises when i have too many things in my downloadds folder. Hmm.. good topic for a new poll??

Non creative creations

So last week I uploaded some dresses that I wasn't that happy about. But I think it's good practise and it does no harm to anybody if I upload it here on TSR.

I also made about 15 tops while I was making the dresses but I need to take pictures of them before I can upload them. I don't really feel like opening up the game because it crashed last time I played (when I almost finished a challenge...) so I don't know when the tops are coming up. They're not really special either it's just recolors from some tops that came with the basegame and prints added on some of them. The biggest change to one of the tops is that I removed some ugly net that was on it.

Apartments, apartments, apartments!!!

Today's updated news:

At last I can tell you that thanks to an annoying flu I've actually had time to submit an apartment lot!

Peony Lodges in Dandelion Ridge is a medium size lot with four separate small houses and one house which is open for all. There your sims can practice all the possible skills. The rent scale is § 1.4320-01.608, and there's one house with one bedroom, two houses with two bedrooms and one with three bedrooms. On the lot there's a playground for kids, small pond for fishing and a barbeque for neighbours to use together. All schools are quite near as well as the grocerie shops!

My thanks again to TSRAA: Cyclonesue for the lovely pink wall color, Windkeeper for doors, Tabbylou for recolors, Sims2sisters for lovely flower arrangements and Shakesaft for great trees!!! I am so glad TSRAA-people let me use their talent!!!

I hope the lot will be approved and released for you to enjoy!

After spending some time here at TSR again I've started to figure out how things work. I've gone throught my bookmarked artists and found wonderful new itsems! I've also refound some great items that I lost in my previous computer disaster! It's been really nice to read other simmers' blogs and see how they are doing. Good news for many, that makes me happy!!!

I've been building apartments after apartments and my sims have been very patient testing the lots!!! I've used Hatshepsut's (what a difficult name to write!!!) great tutorial and I've also learnt some useful things all by myself!

I am starting to be ready to release a couple of apartments. All I need is a peaceful moment at home so that I can finish everything.

I can't download furniture and sims. Because I don't have WinRar.
And I can't download WinRar because i'm afraid of virus.

It didn't seem like many of you liked my foray into fashion.
Perhaps I should just stay with furniture where I belong.
Still tinkering a bit though.
There are just so many aspects of this game I'd like to explore if I only could find the time.
And Sims2 time is almost over! Then it will be a whole new experience.
** sigh ** Too little time. Too many ideas.

My Sims 3 Fansite

Hi, I just built my very first Sims 3 fan site. It's calledSims3fanatics I am a huge Sims fan, in fact you could say I'm a bit obsessed with The Sims. Even though The Sims 2 is four years old I still play it on a regular basis. I just love the fact that I as a player can decide the fate of my Sims. Hey there!

I have taken my break from my game (uninstalled, re-installed) and I have bought a house and moved in (in real life) and am ready to play with my little simmies again!  Re-reading my previous post, I realize how angry I sounded.  I apologize for the tone of my post, but I cannot apologize for the content. 

Anywho, I have 7 more wall hangings pending approval, but I will be out of town next week. 

Please let me know what you think when they come out!

I am still incredibly busy with school. Luckily my spring vacation starts in a little more than a week. YAY! I'll be uploading my new sets then.

New Sundress Set Coming Soon

I am hard at work on finishing up a set of 5 or 6 sundresses, all using the same mesh by Ulkrhsn. I have 2 and half done, and I have a posted a "sneak preview" screenshot of 2 of them, below in my little screnshot pod.  It may be a bit early for summer dresses--but hey, if you've got Seasons, it can be summer for your sims!  AND--although I DO have a gallery with one entire pic posted in it so far--the little pod still says "this user has no galleries".  SO, hopefully there's not going to be a problem with that, and my favorite old pic will show up soon.

Spring is all around

Well, it's still cold enough here to enjoy a heavy coat, but the weather is changing and the trees start putting the first buds forth.

I keep being busy with my job, so I'd rather schedule all the free sets for the whole spring now. I've decided to offer the Sintesi series (one room and two recolours each month) so that those of you who don't have a subscription will be able to get all the matching sets. Thus, the free sets for the next four months will be as follows:

New mesh completed and submitted

Well, I finally finished the wrap sweater mesh and recolors that I was working on last week, and they have been submitted up to TSR. 

I was, also, going to make a wrap sweater with a skirt, but there were some problems with the mesh. If people like the wrap sweater with pants outfit, I'll go back and fix the skirt version.

I'm going to take a break from meshing and work on some basic recolors on Maxis meshes. 

Let the countdown begin . . . 17 days until Spring!

VERY basic clothing creations

Okay so i finally made some clothes. LMAO> For the life of me i cannot do the things RockinRobin is telling me to do in her most excellent clothing tutorial. I am wondering if it is because I have a 30 day trial of Corel Paint shop PRO ( and some things are off limits during the trial and Corel does state that ) Hmmm.. wondering if some of the paste and merging and layering things i need are not running cuz of the trial as things would be in "grey" and i was unable to access them when I was trying to create clothing . So I went into my MS Paint and made some basic kids stuff - just to see how it would turn out! I am uploading it for the heck of it ( my stuff is free anyways)Maybe some one out there is cyber world will want to download them LOL.

I have a whole truckload of furniture recolors coming out though and I seem to be getting abiot better at that .. but its been 5 months of practice! Eventually i will learn clothing.. but I am still wondering if its my thing or not .. i just cant tell at this point as i havent totally figured out how to do it. To compound to the problem is the fact that i dont know the Paint shop pro software AT ALL.. and i am having a hard time trying to navigate my way around it. Sigh! Ya never know - maybe clothing isnt for me and I will just stick with lots and recolors etc. Time will reveal all things...

So look for my crappy little outfits coming soon! And my very good furniture recolors as well. :)
