Couldn't resist, mate... The Demon Barber's outfit and hairstyle are next in line, and Mrs Lovett must surely follow (Her main dress has already been done, but I am quite keen to attempt her red and white "by the sea" dress, if I can find good pictures). A pie shop lot would seem a good idea, though I can't promise any trick chairs, trapdoors, or sim-sized ovens, alas and alack...
It's about time too! When I first started uploading content I thought to wait on a minisite and use my kudos for some minor profile spiffing. I bought a banner, a color scheme and a hit counter. Just to see if people actually looked at my page. ;) Right away I realized that was a big mistake. After my first upload was so successful, I realized I wanted to let people know what was coming up and what I was working on and I couldn't do that. It was too late though and so slowly I've been trying to get my kudos points up so I could add a minisite. And finally today it happened! YEA!! Of course, now I have to be patient so I can set the page up. Hopefully, it's all sorted out by tomorrow. Later...
I have been trying, for the past week, to have some new paintings published. They are rejected over an over again for not being "INGAME" previews. So what's the problem, right? Take some "INGAME" snapshots and update the uploads. The problems is that they ARE "INGAME" screenshots. I'm being, I don't want to say punished because that's not quite the right word, but I'll use it anyway, punished for cropping the paintings so that all you see is the painting. It's very what you see is what you get. No ugly white wall background. No furniture to distract the viewer from what I'm truly offering. Just a painting. The only thing I can figure with these is that I used "Pineapple" as the painting to recolor, and they don't really provide much as far as a frame goes, so some might mistake that as being the image I used to create, and not the image of the object in the game. It's really frustrating to have to resubmit things over and over again that are in the right format and have no way to really defend myself. There should be a link or something that says "If you've received this message in error..." or something, so I can explain what they're seeing in the snapshot.
I really don't want to have to start taking ugly pictures just so that I can prove that my pictures truly are "INGAME" screen shots.
By a 65-35 split, the majority wants me to continue on my mini-western theme. Good thing, because I have things planned (story and objects wise)in this same genre.
I will be uploading my first bedroom set soon, also a western theme, with more in the planning stages. Also another western rug set is in the works.

Yay I got Free Time :D
Anyway, here's the situation:
I have made a couple of new sets, but finding time to edit preview pics and then uploading them is havoc, I just don't have the time at the moment.
It's currently 11.50pm. I have to be up at 6, so, literally the second I press send on here, I'll be going to bed.
I have a set of Hello Kitty toddler pyjamas for you guys, and also, the next lot in Stryd Myfannwy has been done.
Now I don't know if Stryd Myfannwy is any good for you guys, but I've enbjoyed building these lots, even if they don't look amazing.
Building is so relaxing, and even though both items have been sitting on this machine for about 2 r 3 weeks, I'm looking forward to upload them!
Anyway, time for bed. Enjoy playing Free Time, as from what I've seen in the 30 mins I managed to snatch to play it, it looks awesome!
I've managed to catch something (cold, flu, I don't know...) and I'm slowing down on creating. Actually, right now, I'm NOT creating. And, since TSR is being very slow at approving submissions, right now, I guess it's a good time.
I am also splitting my submissions between here and another site, as well. I really prefer submitting to the other site, but I won't abandon the people here who seem to like my work. So, TSR gets some of my work, the other place gets some of my work, and some goes to both. That's not going to change any time soon.
So, when I feel well, and my muse gets back from her vacation, you will see some more Callisto's Creations. I'm thinking of branching into kitchens and bathrooms. I have a green kitchen half done that I'll probably finish. And Earth Goddess at Natural Sims has a wonderful bathroom mesh set that I'll be recoloring sooner or later. Check it out, and give me some color ideas, okay? It's called Keep It Clean bathroom.
The comnputer store is going well. I actually have time for the Sims 2 again. My creative energy is flowing. lol I have a few things I have to finish on some clothing and I have a few lots that still need tweaking but as soon as I can they will be put on. Thanks for waiting. I had an inspirational weekend and built three lots! Two are ultra modern houses for single sims, one is for modern family living. All of them are unfurnished but have some of my walls and floors. No FA content to worry about! Hope you will like them! :-)
I've installed freetime on my computer. It looks really nice, I played Nina Caliente last night and she has maxed her interest in Music and Dance and has two bars left to max out fitniss. The picture below is her warming up. After Dina moved, after her marriage to Mortimer Goth, Nina converted one of the rooms to an exercise room.
Well the worst winter I can recall has finally come to an end it seems. There were so many power outages I can now safely say that I can indeed survive without electricity. It's boring as all heck, but can be done.
And finally I can get back to creating!
This first item I was actually inspired to make after seeing some captures msbarrows made of a gas station/convenience store with a retro feel to it that she had made. It was a really cool building and set, but she didn't appear to have anything to dress up the counter. And so I got the idea to make this candy rack, filled with classic 50's and 60's candy bars.
I'm working on one for gum also.

I was particularly surprised by how much the quality of the preview pictures influences your decision on whether to download or not. This factor even beat out subscriber/non-subscriber. Thinking about it, though, I realize that it makes sense that an artist who's creative and meticulous about their creations will also be that way about their preview shots.
Another surprise was how many "older" players there are. Fewer than 20 percent of those responding were under age 18. Goes to show you, this is far from being just another "kid's game."

<2/20> Well, I was about to fixed the links for my xmsims hair colors when I discovered that they're working again!(lol). I guess it was some error or something? Well either way everything's back to normal and that's good to know (saved me a bunch of trouble, didn't it?)
Due to the fact that my original composter didn't allow for the use of the accumulated compost to be used on a garden plot because Maxis have linked the Plot to the Composter Guid, I have had to change my guid so it now overwrites the Maxis Composter.
Is it possible to run multiple shops at once? I made a Flower & Gift shop and Coffee shop & Restaurant combo. It is quite convenient to play, I tried it myself. But you do need a lot of staff, and no matter how good care you take of them, somebody is bound to quit the job... Good luck with this one!
For those of you who have downloaded my Gentle Persuasion Bedroom, i'm sorry if the tablelamp and the painting are not in the download files. For some reason TSR only approved part of the set and the other part is still waiting approval. I hope it will be approved in the next few days.
Update to an old favorite--Vintage Victorian Typewriter. I've received a few requests to update my Victorian Typewriter (cloned from a computer) to work with newer expansion packs Pets and Bon Voyage. The Bon Voyage typewriter is scheduled for publication on March 1, 2008.
I have created a Pets' version of the typewriter--just need to create recolors for the mesh. I hope to release the Pets' version soon.
I had never understood how to make Collection files until DOT explained it all to me yesterday. Thank you, DOT! So now I have created and uploaded a football jerseys collection file as part of American Football Jerseys Part 6 as well as with the updated American Football Jerseys Superset. I have also uploaded a kilts collection file to my Kilts Superset. This collection includes my recent set of contemporary kilts. For those of you who are not entirely clear about what collection files are, they are simply small files which contain links to related items to make them easier to find in your game. They don't contain any actual skin or object files. If there are any other collection files you think would be useful for any of my items, please let me know.
Oh, yes ... I have started a new series! I am not sure how many lots will be included in this yet ... it depends on how things flow ... time, etc. Here are 2 preview pictures to prove to you all ... I am still here and breathing, lol! This series will have a 'beachy' feel to them and all in pastel tones ... no old trashed houses in this series ... at least I don't think so. I will start uploading in a week or two .... still moving somethings around in the lots.

I find there is a lack of interest in chateau style homes. So I decided to discontinue building the following houses.(see pics at the end of this post)
The first one, I just totally lost interest in. I now have a stockpile of at least 20-25 of reject houses that just didn't make the cut!
I've been finding myself with bad cases of builders block lately and I just can't produce houses as quickly anymore or even inspired to build in that mater lately...I'm starting to ponder my future here at TSR. Anyway, I won't go there just yet!
I'm still working on some clothes - things are starting to look good there!
My last house for my 'Grand Estate Collection' will soon be ready. I would like to finish up that series.
So, I currently have 116 pending creations. I have 115 total published! That's insane! I've doubled my creations in a week! That's got to count for some kind of award, I think. xDD
I have replaced 14 colors with completely new ones, and I have updated Chocolate and Plum Brown by lightening them up a bit. I could have put it up for a vote, however, because of the sad turn-out of the last poll, I made an executive decision. I hope you will like the new ones. Enjoy! and have an AMAZING day!
