Hardford Mansion
The lot I was working on is finished. It's a residential lot and, as always, it has only Maxis content. It requires all EPs (from Uni to BV) and already includes a few reward objects and crafted items. I left 3 big rooms unfurnished so you can have fun decorating too. Here is the preview, I hope you guys like it!Who'd have thought it?!
Imagine my surprise when I came online this morning and found gold bits stuck all over my minisite! It's not often I'm completely lost for words but......Ok, first of all I want to say a huge thank you to all the wonderful friends I've made in the sims community over the years for your continuing support and friendship and I'm sorry for driving you guys batty! I also want to thank Thomas & staff for giving me this great opportunity to represent this fantastic site and I'll try not to let you guys down.

Talk to me :D - I'd love to hear if you have any particular preferences about what you'd like to see more of.The latest Lakeside Lodge should be out next week; there's more Eden Village and Little Venice lots in the works... I keep saying I'll do some more modern lots... I have ideas for more cabins (not lakeside ones - perhaps for Sims who can't afford to live on the lake!) Ideas for another BV only set of lots...I'm intending to do some more Tropical lots... I also have plans for a Luxury Lakeside Lodge and perhaps a hotel version, too.
You can see why I might need a bit of help, here. My head is swimming...

Casino Mazhik: Thoughts on Art Deco
The Casino Mazhik series of objects is strongly influenced by the Paris Exhibition of 1925, the 1933 Chicago World's Fair, the 1937 Paris Exposition, and the 1939 New York World's Fair, New York City's Broadway & Radio Music Hall, films like "Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow", "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen", "Hellboy", television programmes like "The Adventures of Ellery Queen", "Agatha Christie's Poirot", "Mystery!", and books like P.G. Wodehouse's Jeeves and Wooster series and the varied works of Evelyn Waugh.
Certainly, there are many other sources and places when Style Moderne, or as it has come to be named: Art Deco, had a flourishing. Too many to make a proper list of influences, but I will take a moment to mention the contributions of the French La Soci�t� des artistes d�corateurs and the German Staatliches Bauhaus schools, as well as subsequent movements such as "raygun gothic", "streamline moderne", and "Populuxe" styles.
The beauty and multi-cultural look of high Art Deco designs borrows from a number of world cultures past and present, as well as the geodesy of the futurist Norman Bel Geddes and the mechanised Metropolis visions of Antonio Sant'Elia and Angiolo Mazzoni.
I am hoping to show the bright and happy side of this era, rather than the "metalisation of man" that represents the darker aspect of the period. In a way, this may tie into my "Lost American Highway" project. Let's hope I can get that one back on the road soon.
Guinevere
This is a set of modern tops with a period feel: simple 3/4 sleeve black top with contrast pleated front panel and empire line beaded straps to add a touch of glamour and emphasise the bust; very flattering and feminine.
The tops use a standard Maxis mesh (base game compatible) and can be worn by adult and young adult females.
Little Venice - Posh Villa
Here's a few preview pics of what's coming up. I have a new lot in this series coming out in a few days' time. My intention is to then publish a superset of all the Little Venice lots so far, followed by a fresh wave of new lots. I'll be back with some pics of those soon ;-)
I'm quite pleased with this one; it was originally the third generation in a series of three (the others being the Starter and Tall Starter in this series.) I've tweaked it quite a bit and I hope you'll like it.
I envisaged some slightly pretentious Sims living there ;-) In the meantime, the Ramaswamis kindly offered to pose in a few pics of the unfurnished version:

International Man of Mystery Stuff
If you've been paying attention to the figures on the survey poll on my main page, you'll see that lots of people (over 1000 at the time of this writing) have responded and the over-whelming view of the people responding to the poll is that there is not enough male-oriented content in The Sims 2.
Following my own bent for the less travelled path, I am starting my way down a experiemental series of objects for story-tellers and film-makers that will hopefully aid them in spy-thriller plots. I am partially hindered by a desire to maintain a sort of realistic look to these items, but not so realistic that it will look too much like a James Bond set. Realism is great, but I don't want to drift too far from the basic look and feel of The Sims 2.
I will be trying to recreate some of the objects in another game, Evil Genius, to fill in the opposition's array of goods. I am not certain where this will lead, but it already is adding Art Deco content and some high-end designer content that will be suitable for playboy billionaires and stylish villains.
The main goal is to fill in some of the gaps that have been left by the expansions, to make as much as possible of the new objects base-game compatible, and to keep a rather playful mood in the new objects.
The current series (Casino Mazhik objects) is being a real challenge to keep in a low-poly range. The original Maxis buffet in the base game is far from low-poly, so adding the new base didn't improve matters.
I think the hardest part of all has to be not making something someone else has already made for The Sims 2. Also, trying to make my new objects in a similar theme to the work of other artists here at TSR (Cyclonesue, Padre333, Aikea_guinea, and so many other excellent artists). Certainly, a Tokamak Fusion Reactor or a Arclite Siege Tank will not step on anyone's creative toes, but what on earth will it look good with?? More importanly, what good will they add to the game?
Hopefully, I will have better sense than to try to recreate Halo 3 in The Sims 2. LOL
Aztec Theme
Spurred on by the new Aztec-style items and building materials in the Bon Voyage EP, but rather disappointed by the accompanying clothes, I have decided to try my hand at some historically accurate Aztec gear, and maybe one or two lots. Currently in the pipeline: three skirt and blouse sets for Aztec ladies (done as a whole outfit rather than separates).Goodbye FA, Welcome back SA
I have made one of the hardest decisions I have ever made.I decided to let go of my FA status to cater to those who cannot subscribe. I admit, being an FA was fun, but I thought that there are many people out there who cannot subscribe, so I figured that it would be best if I would just be an SA! Which means all my stuff are FREE again!

Tall Pines Campground
My latest lot is massive to say the least. Situated on the largest lot in the game it features 8 fully furnished cabins for your vacationing sims. It also features axe throwing games,hot tubs,campfires fishing ponds and last but not least a hidden surprise in the statue at the front of the lot. Above the check-in lodge there is a combination arcade and massage parlor too. WARNING!! This lot is fully landscaped and may cause major lag on slower pc's. I hope you enjoy my latest lot which will be coming out in the coming days
Oh my...
Today I just checked how my lots were doing and discovered that one of my starter homes released this last September got past the mark of 4000 downloads! This is something really so awesome to me that I don't think I will ever be able to express it properly.I'm really grateful for all the support and friendship I found in this wonderful site. So thank you guys for downloading my stuff and thank you TSR for allowing me to share my lots and giving me so much already!

Winter?
It's supposed to be winter, but all we're getting right now is rain, wind and cloudy skies. I can't wait for spring when the sun will start to shine again! Luckily with Seasons installed our Sims can have summer all year round. To get myself in a more 'sunny' mood I've started working on a beachy recolor of the Ashley Bedroom from ATS. It's coming along nicely, there are still some things that need sorting but it'll be ready before the weekend. A little preview:

I wish to say thank you very much to anyone that has ever downloaded my recolors:) And a huge thank you to all the wonderful mesh makers out there-without you I wouldn't have so many cool objects to play with-lol! Hiya!I know, I know, I haven�t been around for a while now. What can I say? Life just took so much of all my free time! It is getting quiet again, and I decided that it was time to start providing for the sims community again ;)
So, I have a couple of lots I�ve been wanting to upload, they are only missing the preview image which I simply need to prep up. I have a wonderful starter house which I�ve played with numerous families already and I absolutely love it! I also have the Cage Library which I never got to upload, so I should do that shortly. And plenty of half done houses and ideas for new ones.
For this new year, I got my new banner, new avatar, all is left is new stuff... I should go work on that!

Back into the swing of things
I've finally been able to carve out time to get some submissions done, so you'll see some new sets being released in the coming weeks. This includes my new series - "Bel Muro Art Gallery". Back when I actually played the game frequently (LOL), I always preferred to recolor the paintings to familiar pieces that I have in my own house. I used to put lots of stuff on the walls in my sims' houses, so I figured, why not recolor a few paintings? As it turned out, I ended up doing more than a few, of course, so there will be several sets in that series. I hope you like them!Hi all!

I surprised myself with my latest kitchen. I thought about a room where I want to have breakfast during vacations. Astonishingly it became a combo of yellow, orange and green and reminded me to a sunrise. Usually yellow and orange are not my favorite colours but sometimes they are indispensable.

Like some of you, I too play the game! I was strolling through the clothing downloads and I couldn't believe what I'm seeing...I couldn't get over how little there is of 'guys' clothes!(absolutely no choice) There is tons & tons of ladies clothes (whether young adult & adult) and half of it is just the same old, same old. Like the old saying goes 'Its been done' - so lets do something new!I like to play the game with a bit of everything!
So, I've decided to try my hand at creating some clothing recolors for guys!

The Magic Urinal
Don't I just have the VERY BEST blog entry titles?!I'm making a red set of the aforementioned Victorian Bathroom which you have already seen (HAVEN'T YOU!) and I've run into a wee problem (pun entirely intended and not at all funny)...
The urinal 'clean state' recolour works just fine, but the dirty state doesn't. So, whenever my nice pink urinal becomes dirty, it turns back to dirty blue.
I find this rather interesting. Anyone of my vintage (that's 21 plus a few) might remember from childhood these magic painting books where, if you wet the page (with water!), the picture would magically 'paint' in colour. Therefore, a urinal suddenly switching from clean pink to dirty blue after use seems just fine by me. One could even describe it as a rather creative innovation!
I expect no-one else will agree though, so should the pink version of this urinal arrive in your downloads folder at any point, please just sigh about the unfortunate dirty blue state and ignore. Better still, hire a maid!

Maxis Match- 3 Tile Coffee Table Updated
I have finally updated the Maxis Match 3 Tile Coffee Table to have three working slots. Since I submitted it and had it published, I have been tinkering with it to learn about slots, and adding them. Well, I finally know more about slots, and I have finally figured out how to add them to extended objects. Texture Challenge
I've been getting into trying my hand at recolouring. I'm not the world's greatest yet but I've finally made a whole room set which I like so I've uploaded it. It was made using Maxis only meshes and textures provided by Svealyn in the TSR Object Editing Forum's Texture Challenge.
It's All About.........
Hey Guys,"It's All About" is the title of my new series of clothing. For each colour i am dedicating a Set. Today i finished a Red Set. This means if you have a favourite colour then you are able to download 4 items in that colour.
There is going to be:
- A Dress
- A Skirt and Top
- A Top and Pants
- A Top and 3Quarters.
To start off it's only going to be for Female Adults and depending on how well they go i may decide to make a series for Teens.
ALL of these Sets are going to be Mesh Free as i am liking the challenge of only working with 1 or 2 templates.
While that's still going on i'm still going to make my Swimsuits, PJ's etc. These colour sets are only going to be for "Everyday" clothing.
Also on the drawing board for me is still Hair Recolours and Make Up. I am also going to try making some more "Eye Sets" and in the next few weeks i'm going to start working on some more "Purses".
So i'm going to be very busy for the next month or so. I have lots of ideas but not a lot of time.

More Pictures - Lot Coming soon!
The Ocean Breeze lot with the animated tropical paradise waterfall by alex stanton1983 at MTS2 has been sitting waiting for approval for 5 days now. I hope that it will be released soon. I'm going to upload some additional photo's of the Ocean Breeze lot here. In the meantime I have been learning to make wallpaper and I have been really enjoying it! I've always used other artists wallpaper in my homes to this point!
Several little patio's off each side of the house.
Each bedroom has it's own bathroom. There are two small entertainment area's for the children/or roommates. Rooftop decks as well, including one over the waterfall.
I have put the Nursery next to the master bedroom on the main level for obvious reasons. If you don't have a baby, you can turn it into a sitting room for the master bedroom. The Nursery is also in close proximity to the Kitchen and a bathroom.
I always put a library or office near the front entrance so that students have a place to put their homework (where WE can find it)!
Liar, Liar
Alright already, so I lied... But only for your good. ?� If that makes any sense. XD I thought I was going to hold out and not release any items until Valentine's Day but I decided that I can't wait that long so I created yet another HQ set for our Males out there. What can I say? I LOVE them and they treat me well. *smirks*
The preview will be released on the front of my page instead of here. I hope you will enjoy these items, and just so you know, I STILL will be releasing my g��dies for Valentine's Day. Ta Ta for now.
TC72 Natural Living Set
My 3rd TC set will be published January 19th. It is TC72 Natural Living Set. I used Sims Design Avenue Arcan salon set, Detimgi's 3x4 River rug, and some maxis objects. The textures for TC72 were provided by Atwa. Hope you all like them...Poll Results!!

This is good for me, because I'm actually working on the MH Parlor set and I hate it already =/

Gavity and Me
Between always being sick and general clumsiness that comes from being fuzzy-headed because I am sick, I have managed to enjoy some of the more dramatic effects of gravity the past two weeks -- climaxing yesterday in a spectacular fall with a thoroughly bloodied toe with a bruised nail bed that hurts like all hell and a swollen knee that is beginning to look like a Jackson Pollock painting. Wheeeeeeeee!Who needs pain pills? The USA doctors certainly don't think anyone needs them, so I will be laying in bed a lot, crying like a little girl every time my toe brushes the sheet the next few days.
This year isn't off on so great a foot, you might say.
Which expansion and stuff packs do you have?

Playing Around
I've been a little quiet on my profile lately because I've finally taken some time to play the game since Bon Voyage came out. I'm really enjoying uncovering all the neat clues and things in that game. I have been building, but so far nothing really spectacular has come out of it, so that's why I haven't posted a new lot in a while.One of these days I'm going to upload a handful of recolors I did of some Shannanigan dresses a while back, though. I don't know why I'm taking so long to do it. But keep your eyes out for them!
