Maxis Hotel Loveseat

Just wanted to let you know that I'm busy to make a chair and a sofa version of the Loveseat Hotel. I'm also going to make some recolors for them.

Lilac Latte and other stuff...

Lilac Latte kitchen was released, and dingaling me forgot to mention that the mission stuff requires OFB. But I bet you knew that already :) Thanks to TabbyLou for reminding ME!

LewLew did the most WONDERFUL textures in TC59 (hope all is well with you LewLew!), and I really want to do something with them. Just not sure what. H3wwy's recolor of Ricci2882's Musk Living Room Set is outstanding - I orignally started to recolor it for TC59, but H3wwy's outdone it! There's no way i can compare! I hope she uploads, it is just great. So, I'm back to square one. That's part of the reason I hesitate to look at other people's work in TC. she did such a great job (I mean, I drooled)! I don't want to borrow other people's ideas - makes it more challenging for me. I love being creative, and since I can't draw worth a rip, recoloring is my outlet. Rock on TC!

Update to OUAT Nursery Extras - 2 tile Curtain Mesh

Oops! I just updated the OUAT Nursery Extras - 2 tile Curtain Mesh to correct a problem with its GUID, which prevented the (linked) 2 tile diagonal curtain mesh from being placeable on diagonal walls. In addition, the design tool can now be used on the diagonal curtain mesh with this update to the straight curtain mesh package.

I wanted to say thank you to the person that left me a comment on my candles a plenty set. I accidentaly deleted the comment as I was trying to view the guestbook! I often do silly things like that:) So, to anyone that has thanked me, but never got a response in their guestbook - Thank you so much for taking the time to comment! I love to read comments, and I always remark on each thanks I get - unless I have a silly moment, that is! I feel it's very important to let others know that they are appreciated!

Support (or the appearance of...)

Whenever I was building castles, haunted houses and anything else where upper floors might overhang lower floors, one thing I always wanted to have around was a simple set of decorative floor supports - but I only ever thought of this whenever I was in the middle of building a lot - and then would promptly forget again!

Well, I've finally remembered! These really are just decorative wall items, but they finish off the appearance of overhanging floors, towers and the like. Three simple designs (plus a couple of extra decorative bits to complete the look)...


This set will be released Thursday 27 September!

A Reminder and Some Tips

I am posting this just as a reminder that before you comment if something does not work, please make sure you have read the installation instructions and meet all the requirements.

For example, if you download one of my newer Modular Stairs, make sure you read the installation instructions; you need to download the Scriptorium from Mod The Sims 2, and place the .txt in the Scriptorium Modular Stairs folder and the stairs package in the Downloads folder.

Also, be sure you have the right expansion pack/stuff pack, and the CEP. The object may need the CEP.

If something does not work, please PM me or sign my guestbook instead of leaving a comment saying it does not work, etc. Please, also make sure you have read ALL the installation instructions.

Manor House + Pedimentary

Now that I've finished the Garden set, I have moved on to the Kitchen set of the Manor House collection.

The kitchen will take a lot longer to complete, because I'm doing a full set of appliances (stove, fridge, trash compactor, dishwasher), which all have several textures and meshed and animated parts to deal with.

On the plus side, I'll be uploading the final part of the Pedimentary, Collection very soon.

After the last set, I plan to do some more extensive recolors of the collection and possibly revisit an older set with some add-ons!

I'll have to see how things go =]

Freebie! Once Upon A Time Nursery

In honor of my niece, Brittany, who turns 14 years old on September 29th my "Once Upon A Time Nursery" mesh set will be a free download. The set will be in free rotation from September 29th to October 6th. Happy Birthday Brittany!

Brittany is a BIG fan of the Sims games, but she does not like vintage or Victorian furniture, LOL! I created the OUAT nursery set for her and the daughter of a friend.

Terrain paints

Inspired by Ced (Murano) I made a whole bunch of terrain taints. My gosh! you can achieve so much with them! It really makes a difference. Little preview of what you can except real soon from me ;)

New Minisite!

Well, I�ve finally given in and purchased a minisite even though I told myself I wouldn�t even THINK about getting one until I have more sets published. But I was playing around with my graphics program, making a trial banner and ended up really liking the end product � and thus a minisite is born. LOL. I don�t have much stuff at the moment but I do hope you find something you like anyway. =)

Murano Mono Kitchen and SIP Kids2

I'm working on two Mono kitchen recols to match my Tadao Citygirl and Roma bathrooms. And I need a nursary for the Sims that used my BBSL Romanza bedroom. I try to get a matching SIP set with TC53 textures.

Important note about my Cotton Set

Looks like the pictures of two items of my Cotton Set are mismatched. That's the reason you can't see them in your game. I changed their pictures. And if you want you can re-download them again.If you downloaded the Cotton Set there won't be a problem at all. Sorry for inconvenience.

Maxis Match Set 2

I am almost finished with the Maxis Match Set 2. This time, I have a wider variety of objects, such as taller and shorter plant version, a 1 tile dining table matching one of the two tile dining tables, a sofa matching one of the chairs, a chair matching one of the sofas, and more.

Once I have submitted this set, I will begin work on the Greenhouse Set followed by the Bon Voyage Set 1.

After those sets are complete, I will resume submitting all the walls and floors I created awhile ago. So, there's a lot more coming soon!

Got my Sims back

Yeah, I cleaned up my hoods and cloned my characters. Everything seems to be in working order. Cassandra, Darren and Casey are living in a little condo on the edge of town. And who was their first visitors? Don, Darren and Angela Broke, yes, Broke.

On a side note, I love the H&M Fashion Pack, you'll be seeing some of those clothes in the story.

I have no PC and am going latnem!

It's now going on three months that I haven't been able to play Sims. My computer has broken. I miss my little guys so much! *sniffs as she bravely wipes away tear*

Soft Eyes

I've always wanted to try to make a good set of eyes. After looking over the sets of eyes I use most from my three favourite artists - Enayla (MTS2), BitzyBus (TSR), and schuldig_seiben (MTS2) - I wasn't terribly surprised to find that they had used very similar proportions of schlera, iris and pupil. The main problem I find with most downloaded sets is that the proportions of the visible part of the iris and pupil are incorrect, usually too small, giving sims a disturbingly pin-eyed look. The sets I was looking at were all ones where I was happy with the proportions of the eye. I then created an eye of my own in Photoshop, using roughly the same proportions, and constructing it in layers so that all I had to do was alter the Hue/Saturation/Lightness of one layer to create different eye colours. And then, of course, I sat there for a while and did just that :) I'm very pleased with the end result, it's the first custom eye I've done since the Toad Eye that I thought was good enough to share with others.

I've learned to make walls and floors!

Yes, it seems simple to those who know how but for me, it was tough:) I was given a link from H3wwy in the TC forum to a tutorial here written by themistress666 that showed me how! Thank you so much to both for the help. I'll be submitting my first set with my next texture challenge #59. And hopefully will do some more soon. I actually had the time today to package this and get it uploaded. I hope some of you will like this house. It is odd ... with a funny covered bridge walkway. I am strange ... the house is strange ... etc, as usual, LOL! Yes, it does come with a 'skeleton in the closet'!

New Series of Houses

Yes, yes ... I am alive! I have been so busy at school these past 4 ... or is it 5 weeks(?). My students can now actually sit in their chairs without falling off of them, they can stay awake for the entire school day ... and all the whining and crying has finally stopped (no, not the kids ... me, lol!) So I am back to creating ... The new series (that will run through October) will of course consist of old, creepy houses. What could be better for October? I have one lot finished, just need to package it ... and to give you a hint of what is to come ... I will show you the 'banner' heading ... if you have been downloading my other lots ... you'll have a pretty good idea what the houses will look like, lol!!!

A Mad Rush of Uploads

I'm getting a new computer. YAY! I don't, however, want to spend hours upon hours trying to pull stuff over from my old computer to my new computer, so in a mad rush to clean up my old computer, I've decided to start uploading everything that I've finished and that has just been sitting here for some time. Included are about 40 new beddings that I actually kinda forgot about until I found the folder I put them in. I also have a mass amount of walls and floors that need to go, so be on the lookout for A LOT of new content.

My daughter just turned 9 years old and the baby of the family is turning 1 in just a few days, so there's a big celebration going on this weekend. :) If I survive having every each and every relative in my house over the weekend, I will be here ASAP to upload your requests. In the event of my untimely demise (such as being trampled by guests), I have left instructions on my desktop for my husband. ;)

Between the Sheets...

I love bedding..and not just my own. :P I like to create bedding for The Sims because, i think its really one of the only things that can perk up a bedroom. Its a small file too, which is always a plus. I have made some retro bedding in the past, and I find myself using it alot, but I have wanted to do more bedding for a while, so I don't wear out the old ones! At the nudging of a friend, I have finally gotten around to it and created my Spectre Bedding collection. Its inspired by a rainbow, so its very colorful, and almost retro in feel. I am very pleased with how it turned out. Here is a sample of one of the bedding/wallpaper combos.



I intend to always make matching wallpaper for my bedding, because for the most part, I think a wallpaper made especially for a bedding texture can make the difference between a well put together room, and a mismatched hodgepodge of textures. It also simplifies coordination which can be very helpful to some builders out there.

I hope that everyone likes this set, as bold as it is. I would like to make more bedding in the near future, but it would be helpful to know what kind of bedding everyone would like. Please feel free to comment and supply suggestions either here, or in my FA thread.

Crystal Clear Sims

January of last year, Im so happy that I received an invitation to become their Featured artist to their site. I was so rewarded and proud that time around. I met Linda, my mentor and a dearest friend, who discovered my talents and my creations here in TSR.

For a year, a sad news that shook me a lot... my homesite, Crystal Clear Sims, was now closed for good.
There are lots of memories and happy times that I've been through in that site. I miss Hats, dinad2610, SimsLvrGrl2, ead425, and others which they became a part of my memories.

And lastly, I thank those people who become a blessing to me and trusted my abilities as an artist...

Well, I put up my last comment a week ago. Guess I wasn't missed that much. It's OK. I'm still getting downloads, that's what matters most. People enjoying what I've created. In the next few weeks I'll be putting up some things I've created this past year and haven't shared. Made an authentic Victorian house with furnishings. Some really nice things. Endtables and coffee table with doily. That took longer than I expected. Some paintings, walls, floors...furniture, of course. I'm still not back full time. I'm having too much fun with my singing and a new love interest. I'm only in front of the computer on my 'down' time now...and there's not a lot of that, thank God! Love you guys.-hippiebill

My Sims & Nursery Finished

My copy of My Sims for Wii arrived in the post yesterday, not played much yet but it seems very good so far! :) I also completed and uploaded my nursery set I've been working on. It has a Looney Tunes theme and will be available from the 24th September. (preview below) I had a go at meshing a few new objects this time around: potty, mobile, lamp and end table. The full set includes: crib, changing table, rug, potty, curtains, mobile, toybox, high chair, table lamp, end table and wallpaper x3.
