Bannoch Village: Quille Cottage
Very small, one bedroom cottage with bathroom facility outside (but there are bushes for privacy ... and a nice overhang (vordach2) to keep the rain and snow off your Sims, when nature calls. Windows have a very unusual, custom awning (by Crocobaura at MTS2), who graciously allowed me to recolor them for this cottage. This is a small, long lot with plenty of room to add a driveway or additional living space. The house was suddenly abandoned, and has been tidied for a new owner. Quille the Hag has apparated, and no one knows exactly where she is at this time. Bannoch Village will not miss her or her one-toothed smile. She was a cranky old thing.
New tutorials - basic info
Although I haven't had a lot of time in the last few months, I'm determined to work on more tutorials. And I've been getting a number of Help-Me questions about simple but important issues, which has made me want to work on them. The first tute like this comes out tomorrow. It's called Creating Invisible Stairs, and will show a much simpler and more useful way to create Invisivle or Stealth Stairs.
I'll also do a tute on varying roof slopes, and one on basic gardening, and if I can I'll try one on "Decisions to make before building!" !!!!!
If anyone reading this has any more ideas on basic issues that seem to need short tutes, please say here or PM me. ;)
...So Thats Why Mistress Hates Pink!
I bet youre all just dying to know huh? Go on.. I know you are glued to your seats unable to move out of the sheer suspense, and not becuase i have squirted a bucket load of Araldite super contact bonding Adhesive to your sofa!So why does Mistress hate Pink? why wont I have this offending colour in my house? or my wardrobe? or ruffles, and flounces? well, are you sitting comfortably? then I shall begin...
Imagine this, Mistress is a little 8 year old girl, a bit tomboy'ish, I liked to make mud pies on the building site near my home, I liked to play on my bike - yes.. it was a boys bike.. it was a bright yellow Grifter.. no pretty clinky belled bycicle with shopping basket for me... Noooo! My mother would put me in a nice dress each weekend, and I would either go off to the building site to "bake pies" or help my father tinker with his car in the garage, or sit on the floor and band 2 bits of wood together with a gazillion nails and a big whopping hammer. Ace!!
She gave up after a while.. so she began buying me dolls.. doll houses, baby dolls that pee'd and Ice Cream dolls (the rubbish UK equivalent of cabage patch dolls i think) and Cindy dolls (the equally rubbish UK equivalent of Barbie) so they were promptly discarded, given away or in the sad case of poor old Cindy, she had all her hair shaved off, my older sister's make-up proved excellent camoulflage paint, and she enjoyed her brief time in the Action Man tank my father smuggled home for me, until her sad depart in a bad accident when Action Man took Cindy Paragliding - His "Eagle Eyes" werent quite as effective as I thought... oops!
The Pink thing happened soon after - think as a form of punishment and desperation shortly after Cindy's sad demise... It was School Trip time! We were due to go to some caves with Stalagmites and such, and mum said i could have a new outfit.. she ordered it (or what i though was what i picked) from a catalogue and we waited for it to arrive... and then... It did.
It was a dark dark day in the budding Mistres' life indeed. the new outfit i was made to wear consisted of a CANDY PINK Jogging Suit, with matching PINK waistcoat, with a PINK tshirt, PINK socks, PINK trainers, PINK hairband and a PINK denim Skirt...darn it if there was even a PINK vest and knicker set... Mistress was heartbroken!
Ever seen one of those unfortunate photos someone took which had one kid with the biggest scowling frown ever that dominates the whole shot?
That was me that was....
Last set of Alex dolls
This week I am working on my last set of skins based on the Alex dolls by Madame Alexander.

Plodding Along - New Poll
Haven't gotten very far with my Solander Kitchen links, but I'm trying.I got tired of the old poll and put up a new one.
Here is the results from the last one.
Question: Which expansion packs are you currently playing with?
None - Base Game only
8.91% (27)
University
59.74% (181)
Nightlife
58.42% (177)
Open for Business
54.79% (166)
Family Fun Stuff
36.3% (110)
Glamour Life Stuff
41.58% (126)
Pets
55.45% (168)
Happy Holiday Stuff
30.69% (93)
Seasons
74.26% (225)
Seems most everyone has Seasons and not so many have the stuff packs. Interesting results. Anyway the new poll is about the kind of wood you like in your rooms (and one question about fixtures). So here's a new opportunity for kudos and I'd love to know what you think. I appreciate everyone who took the last poll. These polls have shaped a lot of the content you see and will continue to do so.
If a poll sparks a different idea, don't be afraid to PM me or send a guestbook entry and let me know. Can't guarantee I'll adopt every suggestion, but I'll certainly listen. Thanks again!
Welcome :)
Hi there, and welcome to my brand new minisite. I just bought it and now need to find out how to configure it ... if you find anything not working correctly, please don't hesitate to send me a pm so I can fix it!Have fun, Imme
Where To Get The Sleeveless Princess Dress
There was a mesh on this site that I loved, and I believe it was made by Neptunesuzy--it was a sleevless, long-skirted dress for little girls. I made many recolors of that mesh, and always got a great reaction to it...and then it just up and disappeared one day. I've done numerous searches for it (mostly because I had my recolors of that mesh linking up to a non-existant url, and people were not too pleased about that). Not too long afterwards, I decided to create my own sleeveless dress mesh...but the method I wanted to use (cutting the OFB dress off in the middle, and attaching it to the little girl's sleeveless top that comes with the base game) was harder than I thought it would be...mainly because there was a transparent gap in the middle, and no matter what I did--aligning normals, extended manual edits, etc., that gap still existed. Well, I finally figured out how to cure the problem last night, and have uploaded the sleeveless dress mesh onto my site. Not to worry, the mesh (and recolors) are free, and I have no problem with others recoloring, as long as they link back to it at Simphany.com
Here is the direct link to it: Simphany's Sleeveless Dress Mesh For Little Girls
I will be remaking the dress for toddler girls as well (both with and without puffy sleeves) so stay tuned =)
And to all you brand-new graduates out there...

The Bedroom Sets!
Very soon, I will begin uploading the bedroom sets! I am nearly finished with the Onyx bedroom set. Each of these sets will have at least 9 objects- 1 double bed with bedding, a single bed, and more. These sets will also require the Open For Business and Seasons expansion packs. The first set will be the Onyx Bedroom, followed by the Crme Bedroom set, and the Sapphire and Ruby Bedroom Sets.
I may add a couple of more objects to each set before I begin uploading, but the wait is almost over!
PS: The Seasons Set 4 has just been published, and I hope that you all enjoy it! I think it turned out great!
That's it for now
Happy simming!

Oops...
Yeah, about the xtra-uploading thing with 60,000 downloads and such. It will be delayed until at least the 30th of May.Finals for school are around this time, so I really picked a bad time. Oii. So, don't worry, I'll be uploading, just not at this time.
Wish me luck on finals! Thanks!

Snuffles....
Ok.. Ill admit it, I have no idea who the heck snuffles is either, it was just one of those random entries i made to make my blog sound half interesting! I admit is was a feble attempt at making myslef, the ole Mistress seem Multi Faceted, because you dont know me!! I could be a Barbie affiliate, I could have an un-natural love of the colour Pink, I could Have a house filled with floral fabrics, lacey curtains, flounces, pelmets and an unholy collection of Porcelain dolls that have this habit of staring at you when you eat dinner... But I dont! so there! I have Dragons that stare at you when you eat dinner, I have a sword collection that dangles precariously on the wall behind the dinner table, my walls are a deep shade of purple, so ow you may breathe a sigh of relief - Mistress has not lost it! Heres a piccy of the kind of Dragon that frequently stares at my dinner guests...
And the thing with Pink? well, Theres an ineresting story behind my intense dislike of Pink and ruffles... maybe next time, if im feeling all charitable, i might tell you all!
My cats :)
Hi there, I've sort my pics on pc and thought I could show you some new pics of my cats ;) Here is Puschel:
And a second one, where I played around with it in photoshop
here is the original ;)
As you see Puschel is not glad to see me. Because she did an after-lunch nap.
So and here is my oldest darling - my tiger Susi:
Also I want to show you the last pics I did from the rebuilded "Frauenkirche" (church of our ladies) in Dresden, where I live. The Dresdener Frauenkirche was destroyed in the firebombing of Dresden during World War II and has been reconstructed as a landmark symbol of reconciliation between former warring enemies.
Here is a view of Dresden from a bridge at the Elbe.
And at last a view of the "Zwinger" in Dresden:

Ugh! I'm sick!
I've only been home from my trip for less than a week and I've been sick with a terrible cold for the last 5 days! I can't remember when I've felt so bad. I guess being locked up on a bus for 14 hours with a bunch of kids probably caused me to breathe in some unhealthy germs. Anyway, I promise that I do have a bunch of new things to upload. I just needed to get the pictures taken. But everytime I sit down at the computer to start doing it, I feel so bad that I have to go lay down again. Here's a sneak preview of one of my new sets coming out in the next couple of days. This set includes several new meshes by me: (the sofa, chair, bookcase, TV stand and TV, and coffeetable) I've also done two recolors of this set.
And now - about radiators!
Whilst I'm on the subject of fixing things (in fact, I seem to spend more time fixing my creations than making them in the first place, though you have NO need to comment on this!)...MsBarrows pointed out something everyone else was too shy to mention: the radiators are hogging an entire game tile. Of course, I COULD make pitiful excuses about how this is a 'safety feature' so nobody is burned by getting too close to the imaginary heat these decorative objects are supposed to exude, but is what one could call a small oversight on my part...
(or blatant stupidity - of you dare!)
So, I've changed the two radiators so that they will allow sims and other objects to share the same tile and not block walkways. If you would like the revised radiators, you can find them here...

Revised: Victorian Radiator

Revised: Modern Radiator
And today's borked object IS.... (cue fanfare)
The tree house door (master mesh)! Thanks to JRon who gave me a prodding with the pointy end of one of the branches, it seems that, as usual, I had managed to add a nice blue texture to the game icons of all the doors and windows that take their colours from this master file.
I have now got rid of the blue texture. Simply redownload the door from here...

FIXED: Tree House Master Door
You might need to refresh the icons for the tree doors and windows in your game catalog. If so, hold down the Ctrl key on your keyboard, and click the right mouse button on each icon - including the recolour choices).
Todays Blog Entry is about Nothing!
Yeah thats right... nothing... What has Mistress been doing in Sims style for the last few weeks you may ask? nothing. What has Mistress managed to create? nothing. When old Mistress Hubbard went to her cupboard, what was there? nothing.Indeed the theme to this entry is - nothing - Well.. not exactly nothing, merely bits of somethings that look like im doing nothing becuase I have several projects on the go but i have finished none of them. Does anyone else get these little Hiatuses in creativity or does my brain matter really suck that much?!
Ive been doing a recolour of one of my fave FA's sets, and its been lurking on my hard drive for over a week now because stupid real life dictates that Mistress does not have time to spend on such frivulous activities such as this thing termed "taking a break." Noooo!! I come home from work, later and later each week, I cook, I clean I yell at the kids, and whine at him indoors for not doing XYZ or for doing XYZ but not how I wanted... you know how it is, one had to keep him indoors in check!! Sorry fella's, but Mistress cannot be Mistress without ensuring that him indoors knows whats what... indeed!
I also thought of a great maxis recolour, but only got so far as firing up SimPe, and realised it was already 11:30pm, so shut it back down again...
I am sure though that this temporary "brain fart" will not last, I will kick into gear once more, I guess its better than trying to rush something out that my heart really isnt into... And you know what? ONE of the ideas Ive got hatched isnt at all dark and gothic.. now what do you think to that then!?!
Next week on The Blog: Did Mistress finish any of the ongoing projects? NOT dark and Gothic?!? has Mistress lost it completely?! Did snuffles really bite bob? and who the heck is Snuffles??

This is definitely one of my favorites. Retro Trapezoids in Grape:

60,000 Downloads!!!!
Hello!!I'm pleased to announce that my creations have been downloaded a total of 60,204 times, well over 60,000 downloads!
I'll be uploading quite a few new sets in the next couple of days, as a thank you to all of you who have supported me. Keep a look out in the different creation forums for previews of my work, as well as my mini site for new Current Projects.
Thanks again!!

Revising old lots
I am currently in the process of revising some old lots that had minor defaults to them, due to some cheats used to build them. Mainly some of my mediterranean villas. The list is: Boca Raton, Delray Beach, Palm Beach & Balmoral Beach. I'm looking to get all this caught up so I can finish some of my new exciting releases coming soon...Bannoch Village: Joliffe Cottage
This is a big one, no dinkie cottage here! Very spacious, 4 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms. Very nice for a large family. Roof is not as 'pointy' as other Bannoch Village cottages because of the way the roof lies.
And thank you to all who took my 'Expansion Pack' Survey! I was trying to decide if I should install the Seasons EP. I have decided not to (at least for now). I don't know about anybody else, but I am finding it harder and harder to download other people's lots ... so many EP's are sometimes needed. Since I build lots for TSR ... I thought I would kept my houses simple and use only OFB/UNI/NL.
And one last thingy ... I use Kate's (Parsimonious) 'Eponymous Garden' plants often in my lots. Recently she updated all her plants. They are the same plants but more compact, smaller and look marvelous. If you have her old Eponymous files ... you might consider redownloading her newer version and deleting the old ones.
New Current Projects!!
Hello,Since I'm getting very close to 60,000 downloads here at TSR, I've decided to start uploading some more .. as a thank you to anyone and everyone who has contributed to Benny Boy by downloading my stuff. :)
So ... on that note, I'm going to announce my next project, or, projectS. LoL...
I'm working on a joint project between these 2 sets by the select artists, Shoukeir:
1. Magali
2. Extensia Dining
Both sets will be the same recolors, to match as a full set. They should work perfect in your modern homes, or if you just want modern style in a traditional home, it will work for that as well.
Preview pictures of the set objects will be posted in this forum thread. Look for it soon, and thank you all for your support!

Screaming Loudly
Well, I got a newsletter from Pimp My Sims and went to their site to see their new layout which is very nice. However, they've removed Solander's first kitchen. You can find it on TSR by going to Retired Artists and SolanderCGN. But that means that all the links to my 20 "PMS" Kitchens are no longer valid because the kitchen isn't there. So I will try over the next few weeks to correct all 380 files. I did about 4 or 5 sets all the way through before exhaustion took over. I'll do it a bit at a time so I don't get this tired again.I would like to ask that if you see a problem with one of my files, that you please let me know. While I was changing links I came across one of the oven hoods that had a picture of a microwave on it. I changed it, of course. But these sets have been around quite a while, and it was never mentioned. Of course it could be that everyone is downloading the entire set, in which case it probably wouldn't be seen. Regardless, I'm human, so if you catch me being that, please let me know and I'll fix my errors when possible.
Summer 2007
The summer is upcoming and to be in form I must make some diet and of gymnastics :(
In the meantime I have created a small set of bikini for the sea.
Glass Block set
This new set has taken me months (literally) to make! I started it in November 2006, and finished it last weekend, so something in the order of six months then. Admittedly, a lot of Real Life pushed its way into that period, but six months!!! Anyway, I'm glad it's finished.
Glass Block Set

Clothes
In between working on some new houses, I was messing around with Body Shop because I got bored....and I actually made some nice Maxis recolors! I'm obsessing over teal and green shades these days, and so are my Sims since Maxis never makes clothes that match! :P Well, anyway, since I was so bored today, I came up with some teal and green outfits for Sim ladies. Two recolors I did came out particularly well, so I'm going to share! Keep an eye out for them in the next few days. :)Update
The whole "Shop till you drop" set is published now and the set has became larger then I had in mind when I started working on this set. For everyone who doesn't have this set yet, there is a Superset comming out on tuesday, with an easy download of all sets in one. The complete set has 30 meshes, 69 recolors and 4 collectionfiles. In case some people had problems with placing things like toddler toys or kitchen supplies on the shelves, I recommend using the placers of part 1a. With those placers you can place those kind of objects on the shelves or on other tables. So you can also use them if you for instance want some toddler toys as decoration on an endtable in a childsroom.
Next thing up will be a kitchen, but you probably had already guessed that, as my poll is about this kitchen. I'm also working on a few other things in the mean time, so I can't tell yet when the kitchen will be ready, but I promiss I'll try to make it something special.
Almost forgot: I've done a few little updates on some files: the curtain mesh of the Turano set had a bad shadow that is now removed. I also added a collection file to the Turano set.
Also the advertising painting of the "Shop till you drop" set had a wrong description. It's updated a few days after it is published.
I'm Back :)
Hi everyone, if you haven't noticed i have been a little quiet for a while. I have one thing to say to all UK internet users DO NOT USE TALK TALK.I have had a nightmare 2 months of phone calls, delayed connections, crap customer service and tears all from trying to change my connection to Talk talk.
But nightmare aside, i am back, i have been busy while offline and hope to post some new stuff for you soon so check back :)
happy simming
Bed
I really like retro and contemporary furniture, but for my new set I wanted something more traditional. It's going to be a bedroom set, so here's a preview of the double bed:
Of course, as I am not nearly done with it yet, it could end up as something completely different :) I am looking forward to making an armoire - I have never made something animated, so that will be a first! I really love that about creating for The Sims; you can start off with relatively simple things and learn as you go.
Poll results for video games
Okay, I have the results for my last poll about video games. And the results are:1. Simulation: 61.74% (92 votes)
2. RPG's: 16.78% (25 votes)
3. Adventure: 4.03% (6 votes)
4. Platform: 4.03% (6 votes)
5. Fighting: 3.36% (5 votes)
6. Action: 2.68% (4 votes)
7. Survivor Horror: 2.68% (4 votes)
8. Shooters: 2.07% (3 votes)
9. Sports: 1.34% (2 votes)
10. Racing: 1.34% (2 votes)
Obviously none of the other game genres were competition for the simulation games since we have so many sims addicts here at TSR and that's completely understandable. I'm very happy to see that quite a few voted for RPG's, my personal favorite. Although I really would've love to have seen more votes from everyone, I'd like to thank everyone who took the time to vote on my poll. I really appreciate your participation.
Maybe you all can vote on my new poll I have available. What kind of movies and music do you all like to watch and listen to? It's a 2 part poll and I'm very interested in everyone's response, especially the one dealing with music since we have such a diverse community.
Barocco - Recol and Additions
Hi! I've recoled my Barocco-Set and made some new Meshes for it - be surprised! Here is a little preview-pic ;-)
Marbles & Happy Kids Walls and Floors Sets
Dear Downloaders,I'm so sorry for what happened with Marbles and Happy Kids walls and floors sets, the problem was that i uploaded them as .zip file, because i lost the preview images for Happy Kids set, and i couldn't upload the set as individual items, while for Marbles walls and floors set, i had to submit it as .zip file because it contians 21 items ( i can't remeber how many specifically ) but i'm sure the set contained more than 20 items, and my problem is that i'm on dail up connection which is too slow, so i couldn't submit the set individually because it doesn't fit my connection speed. So i'm so sorry for what happened. I'll REpublish them in June or July again with individual items and preview images, because nowadays i'm so busy packing up my things and will travel soon to the Netherlands.
Thank you so much for your support and patiance. Please accept my apologies.
Yours,
Zuzu aka Sheera
Seasons Set 4
As you can probably tell by the poll, I am going to have a Seasons Set 4 soon! At this point in time, I can tell you that it will be a HUGE set with 23 objects! The only problem- I haven't decided what the color should be. There is still time to vote in the poll to help me decide which of those colors you would like to see! That's it for now!
Happy simming!

Bannoch Village: Blackberry Cottage
Paris Blackberry, a notable partying witch in Bannoch Village recently renovated this old, dusty stable into a cozy, small family dwelling. There are no full-sized walls in the interior of this cottage, but Paris (creative girl that she is), decided to use the old horse stalls to partion-off the rooms. Interesting concept and adds charm. The outside walls are all unfinished thatch and prone to bugs and mice. But what's a few critters when all this can be yours for under $20,000! Alas, poor Paris has had to vacate this lovely cottage for more spartan lodgings but she is hopeful that some nice wizarding family will soon purchase Blackberry Cottage.
May Break :)
I will come back soon with new creations, new hairs, make-up, clothes and everything else. Now I will create stuff for men too :) So don't forget to check my mini-site after May will end (one of beautiful month in year).Poison Ivy and other fun things
I've been fighting a severe rash from poison ivy all month. Never clear out brush in the dark. I've had it on my eyelids, which has made it hard to focus on anything for very long, so that explains the lack of updates.I'm very nearly finished with the Aaron bedroom, and I've started work on a couple of the others. I also started looking at bathrooms and have a few ideas that I'll be trying to do soon.
The results over the slave objects question were closer than I expected. I prefer to do things without using a master/slave file, so that's how I'll continue to do it. For now, I'll continue to make everything I can base-game compatible, but I'm hoping that the next version of the site will allow for more than one version of an object.
As soon as the next version of the site is up and running, I'll be updating all of my older sets.
Future Reference: 60,000 Downloads!!
Hello,I just thought I'd announce this now, because I know that I will forget when I do come across 60,000 downloads here at TSR. LOL!
When I do get there, I will be submitting many downloads, as a thank you to all of you who have ever downloaded my stuff! I really do appreciate all the downloads and comments I get, which inspire me TONS to create more.
When I get closer and closer to 60 K, I will be posting both in my forum signature and in this blog, that I will take requests for a limited time. In that case, you can private message me on the forums, where I will try and respond A.S.A.P.
More information on the time of requests will be posted later, as I'm still 2,000 downloads away from 60 K. Haha!!
Thanks for all of your support!

STUD Pics
Now that Anoeska's recolors are out, I wanted to see how they looked together with my shelves. Here are some samples. I think they go together pretty well. But I like variety and I wouldn't have an all-blue or all-pink shop. But add a bit of variety and I think it will do quite nicely. I have 27 sets of these objects. As of today, I've released 3. So I figure a set every day or two will last from 4 to 8 weeks. So you'll be seeing these around for a while. I might pull one set because I don't like it as much as the rest. But there is another set I want to finish, so maybe I'll substitute that. Who knows? Anyway, I'm through with them for now except for the publishing. The black shelves will be out in a day or two. Enjoy your shopping! Green Metal and Cherry Wood
Blue Metal and Teak Wood
Pink Metal and Wenge Wood

Mini Site
Yea! I finally have my mini-site. I am waiting for my lots and other objects to show up. I am trying to work on my Alphabet Soup Series Homes, but with school and everything it will probably be a while before all houses are here.Bannoch Village: Lockett Cottage
Another small cottage, suitable for a family of three. Plenty of room for you to add on rooms, if needed. Also, this cottage is packaged with a Maxis roof. You can use either the Wizard Roofing I created or Cyclonesue and Tiko have some other wonderful 'thatch' roofs that would look good, too! Your choice!!
