Mistress - The Jolly Nice Gal to Live Near...
Ok, Im Stumped! WHY has my X hubby gone and bought a house quite literally round the corner from me? why why whyyyyyyy Delilah? ahem... sorry about that. Seriously.. Why??!! There were millions of em to choose from so why move from another town BACK, not only to the same town, but quite literally, If i wasnt such a girl at throwing, would quite literally be a stones throw away from my own house? (Have you ever noticed that?! At school us girls could quite literally slaughter and butcher each other with hockey sticks, whacking each others shins with the cricket like ball, Blacken our eyes and bloody our noses playing Netball, yet just the simple act of throwing a tennis ball or any object for that matter results in a pathetic wildly inaccurate lobbing that goes nowhere near its intended target?!)Anyway, indeed, Mr Xhub has now bought a house slightly too close for comfort. Rather than look on the negatives I will just have to assume that I must just be such a thoroughly nice gal, and such a fab neightbour. Nor shall we dwell on the fact that 6 years later and the aforementioned has yet to find an "other" let alone a Significant one. As long as he doesnt become "Stalker 3" Im okay with it... You know, I could write a novel about my life, It would beat hands down the likes of Corrie (or for those in the US, liken it to The Bold & the Beautiful or Dallas type sagas albeit not as "posh" and with no oil.. unless you consider the X's skin type and greasy hair of course...)
Ive had 2 Stalky type slightly obsessives. The first, in my dating times, forgot to tell me of his betrothal to another lady, and once Mistress was informed of this little faux pas, 1 unceremonial public dumping later, and Stalker 1 was formed, Cue sad figure lurking around my place of work to "talk" and upon discovering I had a new Beau, lots of bizarre text messages about how well "The Fog is Lifting" Stalker 2 was well aware of my then, and current Beau yet he had a perchant to tell everyone how in love he was, accidental meetings and so forth that escalated to the point where he was desperate to know if David was living with me or not by sending some poor chap on a mission to my house, to explain that due to a horrid car accident, he was suffering from acute amnesia and needed to know who was living in my house as well as me and the poor chap became very flustered when I remarked about the sheer detail he was able to recount for someone with amnesia... he suddenly felt the need to go and rushed down the street to speak with Stalker 2, thankfully never to be seen again... Luckily neither of these 2 had very much sense between them, and thus it never got really bad, just a bit sad!
Im doing that waffling thing again, so I shall stop for now, and wonder what tales of the bizarre I can come up with for the next installment of my Blog...
Next time on the Blog... Mistress discovers the joy (?!) of Gardening.. My Neighbours are Vigilante's and they all hate me.. and Mistress gives away Dave's entire Vinyl record collection.

Well That's It - Sort Of
Well, that's the last of the Turano sets - or is it? Actually, I have two more things coming out for the Turano. One is an add-on pack in dark red that matches AnoeskaB's original recolor. The other was a round-about user request. A Turano set in black and white. Combined with some of the items in AnoeskaB's other recolor, it provides some really interesting effects. I think you'll like it.The Calypso sets will be coming up this week. It seems that at least some of you didn't mind looking for meshes for the Mundy set. I hope that will be true for Calypso.
Other things will be coming around the bend, too, so I'll try and keep it interesting.
If you have an idea, let me know. Usually I can fit things in.
So far ideas from other people have proven to be pretty popular.
I'm a bit behind in thanking the mesh-makers for the objects I've downloaded to make things with, so until I get the time to do that, here is a big Thank You to you. I appreciate you doing what I cannot. At least, not yet.

Spring & Summer Garden Flags
Whew! This past week has been pretty busy so it's taken me a while to get my new creations finished and posted. However, all you flagaholics out there will be pleased to hear that spring and summer-themed flags will be sprouting very soon. Get ready to add pretty summery flags to your growing collection - including flowers, birds, summer insects (butterflies, dragonflies, ladybirds/ladybugs) and seashore fun. :)
Keep a weather eye out for this set on May Day, fittingly enough (Tues., May 1'07).
Also, I have sketched out the rest of my future flag sets and you should expect two sets a month for the next five months, followed by a gigantic superset when it's all finished. That will be an entire real life year's worth of garden flags - oj! :P
New tutorial, etc
I've posted up a new tutorial, called Creating Stair Rails with Fencing. It's Part 1 of a 2-parter, explaining how to add any fencing - default or custom - to any Connecting Stairs.I made my Padstowe Manor and Hall for the tutorial's pics, then thought the house was interesting enough to publish separately! ;)
I've also been asked if I could publish my Thatch Roof tiles and ends (I usually leave items likes this just in the buildings they were made for), so there's a small set of them coming out this week too, and the Windmill set next weekend.
I intend for more windmills to be added once I get back. :)
Away on a short holiday
Today (Sunday April 29) Ruth and are taking Lord Tiko, our Birman cat, on another short holiday to a country cottage in the Lake District. This is a recent discovery in our lives - that he loves going away with us, and has met lots of cows and sheep!!!I should be back at TSR by Friday (May 4).

I normally reply to everyone individually. I love doing so because you all very much deserve it & it's my way of showing my appreciation.I apologize for not being able to do this recently, real life has been very busy and to my chagrin comments have increased in number to over 340 new comments. This number simply overwhelms me, so I have only been leaving guestbook comments for the people I haven't already thanked in the past. Happy Kids Wallpapers & Floors set
Hello ,I'm so sorry because i couldn't submit the Happy Kids wallpapers and floors set as a real set, which means i couldn't submit each item of this set "individually" , because i "ACCEDENTLY" deleted the wallpapers and floors preview images from my pc. Hi all,Just a few pics of the interior of this lot. One note - there is a spot outside the front door where Sims occasionally get stuck. They will stand on the spot and wave as if something is in their way. Have a look at accentia's comment on this blog entry for the reason why this happens (and a fix if it's troubling you). What I'm Up To...
I'm concentrating right now on building a line of starter homes that only require the basic Sims game. I'd also like to make them so that they feature NO custom content. We'll see how that goes, considering how awful Maxis items and decor materials are! :PComputer Crash
Well my computer died again...I've lost most of my sims stuff appart from some backup I had from Febuary so I doubt I'll be continuing with my story. I may start a new series, I may not. Right now all I know is I'm on a downloading spree. Sorry to everyone who followed the story.No Care Flowers

About a month ago, my trusted computer became very ill and had to be given last rights. Went right down to Best Buy and purchased a new one but they had none of the model that I needed in store so I asked for it to be sent to me. A week later, I called their "status line" only to find that they had no record of the sale. I had a small fit and then decided to reorder the computer. a week later, called the dreaded "status line" once again and was told that it was on back order and they just couldn't quite say when it would indeed become available. smoke is pouring out of my ears at this point. Not only do I submit here at TSR but I have my own website to maintain as well as an admisnistrator/creator for spiffysims so I have alot of people who depend on me. I cancelled the order and called Dell. Not exactly what I wanted but it only took 4 days to get the computer and it is beautiful. Only drawback is that it has the new windows vista that has many horror stories associated with it. It looks beautiful but I have not yet tried to recolor or download. Doctors do not know better!
Mistress is being all philosophical again... You know what those stupid doctors went and did? well, if some of you can bear to cast your eyes back to the blog entry about my stomach ulcers, I can now no longer take some of the arthritis pills (namely anti inflammatories) and so, much to my reluctance the doctor prescribed me with something called Amitryptaline which she claimed in low 10mg doses, was considered very effective "Pain management" in the medical world. I scoffed at the idea, made a suitably sarcastic remark about knowing it was yet another fancy name for Anti depressants and said why what does that do, make me all happy and i dont actually care too much about the pain (or stopped making it up as it was all "in my head" was another thought)?"But, being a good girl, i took the little blue pills, dutifully every night for 6 weeks.. the shooting pain continued in one's shattered kneecap (as i would have expected if the bones are a bit fubar'ed as we say here)all they did was exactly the opposite of the other well known "little blue pill" Mistress was not impressed and prompty threw them in the bin last weekend! I have to say I hate pills and stuff that end up messing with your head, i like to make sure that all my sarcasm and extremely witty one liners and exceptional talent at toilet humour and lewd jokes continue to spew forth with reckless abandon... and then hurredly blame it on someone else if it all goes awry.. a bit like when women accuse the dog of farting...
Wow.. Ive been divorced for 3 weeks now! give it another 3 weeks and that would equal the amount of time that would elapse between the X hubby taking a bath... oh yes indeed! I have rather an amusing ditty to tell on that front which culminated in me threatening the Xhub with the Karcher Pressure Washer and a tub of Swarfeega...
Stove Update
I found that my updated stove diddn't pick up the recolors as intended. (Stupid me for not testing properly I just saw the recolors were there and thought everything was fine).Anyway I am very sorry for the inconvinience and the stove is now fixed and I'm just about to reupload.

Hello,Being that I am being very lazy right now and haven't really wanted to create or publish anything in a while, I'm gonna get into the mood and motivate myself to recolor some more TSR stuff; and possibly some Maxis stuff, but we'll see...

Exploring Windmills!
I got very excited about Andrea's (Shakeshaft's) windmaill sails, and have asked her if I can devlop them in some buildings. The inspiration - to be honest, and it's sad news! - was the mill in van Helsing and the original Frankenstein. The first set I've worked on is a 3-parter with both a CFE and default-game version of gambrel roofs, and an unfurnished version of the CFE one. Her's a preview piccie:

I've had some lovely feedback about the 'Forest Glade' Seasons version of my treehouse ----- and it is a great house to play, if I say so myself!!!!! :lol: Thank you. :wub: I've also written most of a tutorial on how to add any fencing you want to stairs ..... and made a stately home to illustrate it, and then thought I'd add the home! This is Padstowe Manor & Hall, and I've delayed the publish date a little to get some screenshots in, too. Here's the set pic:

I havent updated for a while as i am currently trying to make sense of the 16000 downloads in my folder i have made a few hair sets but need to check which ones i can upload as quite alot are donation from other sites so i cant post theseA mini site!
Hi everyone!I've been really quiet here the past few months due to real-life stuff (graduated college, got a full-time job, planning a wedding...you know, all that stuff that works out fun in Sims, but not in the real world!), but I'm hoping to have that change very soon.
Now I finally have some time to start working on object-making! (Though, don't hold your breath, because I've been reading tutorials for at least 3 years now and I still feel just as dumb as I did before I started!)
In the meantime, I'm still running the S2HBAA Monthly Contest, so please feel free to check it out under the Challenges and Contests forum in our Sims 2 Community area. The April contest is still open, so if you're interested, please don't be shy about entering! April's theme is Glass Houses.
