OFB and mailbox cover
I finally got my copy of Open For Business, yay! Testing all the objects for this new expansion pack. So far there is only one problem - mailbox covers. You can no longer place mailbox covers on top of the mailbox. There is nothing wrong with the object itself, Maxis has changed the moveobjects cheat code so you no longer can place ANYTHING on a curbside. The only solution so far is to move the mailbox but the results are unpredictable so I would not recommend it.Ribbons & Lace
Over the weekend I've been working on a set of cute frilly dresses for toddlers which I've imaginatively called Ribbons & Lace. Getting decent preview pictures was a total pain as you really can't see the dress properly on the toddler sitting on the floor in CAS and I don't like BodyShop shots, so I ended up having to find a toddler in my game who could walk and send her mother to a community lot to buy all the dresses. Then I had to try to get a clear shot of the toddler walking in six different dresses without her falling asleep or giving off clouds of toxic gas. There must be an easier way! I may not be making any more toddler outfits so I hope you like these ones!New PC for Red!
Well I now have a NEW PC..I have been waitinf forever it seems..my old PC was OK but was coughing anf weezing and I couldn't make stuff..I was getting irritated I missed creating..But now I am back..lolSo I have a few things planned..a friend asked for my Purple Bathroom in other colors so they will hit soon.

Work in progress - new hair and earrings
This new hairstyle will be available for adults and teens. Its a simple updo hair. Maxis doesn't have anything of this type so I'm making one :). The mesh is almost ready, still needs additional recolors and a few touches. I also made new earrings, mostly to go with the hair.
OFB compatibility
I have received several messages already about some of my objects not working with a new expansion pack. None of that has been confirmed so far. Before sending me a message please make sure you actually have a problem. Try to sell and buy the item again. See if it works in a different house. Download the object again from this site, perhaps you don't have the latest copy of it or your copy is corrupted. I will be testing each single one of my creations. If there is something wrong with them, I will post a notice in my blog and attempt to address the problem. Thank you.Is it me, or what?!

And this is how it winds up!!!Customers have dumped their shopping in despair, my Sim's hygiene is unmentionable as she lies collapsed in bed, with the work vehicle outside and the stove burnt to rubble.
THIS, everyone, is why I don't play Sims!!!

So, it's NOT an original blog title, but there we all are.I loaded the pack today and here is the scene at Austin's Place - one of my Urban Renewal lots (see all these shameless plugs?!)...
I KNEW there would soon come a time when someone would want all that junk. Trouble is, I've yet to sell a single item! I think the fact my Sim's sales tactic runs along the lines of hollering "Buy the stupid thing or else!" does not help matters. You can just see her in the background singling out her next victim.

I 've uploaded a long hair mesh that I made using WesH's Unimesh Milkshape Plugin. For those of you who don't know, this plugin allows for much better, smoother animation! Prom Nite
My names haven't been very creative of late, but there is a reason why this name isn't so hot...its a remake.I never really liked one of my earlier creations for Sims 2, which was a remake itself of one of my realheads from back in "the day" of Sims 1 "realprom." I named the Sims 2 mesh "Promenade" and neither Xandher or I could agree that it was one of our best. It seemed nice at the time.
Anyway, if you are reading this, then check out the animations in PromNite, and let us know what you think of the tossle-curl system we devised for this one.
I've got a lot of ideas, and can't wait to try them out.

I've been working on mostly male clothing this month for a change of pace. Along with the March theme Vintage Victorian creations.Sims2Play is A-OK!
Sims2play have a beautiful set on their site at the moment. In case you are wondering who Sims2Play's designer is - it is none other than Shoukier who designs here as well. Another really talented artist who also designs for their own website. I hope you like them. The first is a wonderful slightly old fashioned/kitch floral pattern that I adore - I happen to think its cute and I hope you do too! As for the other well it's green! LOL what's new eh!
Oh no! Not AGAIN!
Yes, they've done it AGAIN!There's a bit of a standing joke about how I seem to invent an object to make, only for Maxis to later show screenies of what they're offering in their next EP: the same type of object - only better.
And with the run-up to 'Open For Business', I've not been disappointed. After all, we all know about their elevators and coned roofs, so I shall quietly hide MY offerings under a rug and hope no-one notices them.
Today, my partner showed me a new screenie this morning from one of you lucky people who already have the pack. They have introduced a BAY WINDOW!!! Now, you saw my last blog entry. I was so PLEASED about my new idea! Except I'm not the only one with this idea, am I?! Grrrrrr...
I suppose I'll receive the pack only to find a broken junkyard toilet in it too (as usual, the Maxis version being better than mine)...
Sims1WallsBack!
Just wanted to let everyone know that 50 of my walls are back up in the Sims1 archives. Thanks to Kath for her hard work and patience. Thanks to Per for making it possible. Its like seeing old friends. Happy March and Happy downloading! judiSimceramics
This will be a set of pots, vases, amphoras of different sizes. I'm targeting March 11th as a publish date. The round pots designed to be placed on top of a potted plant without a cheatcode. To cover up Maxis default pots :). One of the large pots acts as a small table. If you use my plastic shrubs to place on top of that pot, you will get a nice looking planter. All the smaller meshes are linked to large ones for colors. I got carried away with making recolors, again, lol! So there will be plenty of files to download.

Since I started to upload creations here, I spent most of my simming time on object making. It's about�time to take care of my Sims more and playing with�the new expansion.�I am going to get my OFB copy tomorrow... I'll just become part of my computer for a while!! Hi, I have had a great day today perfecting my ParkLane wallpapers. I made about 20 walls and 4 floors so far for the Victorian theme in March. I love the artisty of this period. I am taking liberties to adjust wallpapers and floors for the Sims, all are not true to the period though.I hope you find something you like over the weeks coming up. Here's a peek at 3 of my favs.

My first hair mesh
My first attempt to create a new hair mesh for the sims. Something I picked up from "Last Exile" anime - a little girl there had these interesting hair clips. Decided that they shouldn't be difficult to make. Silly me! lol! I've been working non-stop for several days already on this project! There are just so many little things to deal with when creating a hair mesh. I'm in the process of tasting the mesh. Wish me luck! :)
Don't let anyone tell you that windows are difficult...
Here's my new venture! A box window (small version - several more somewhat unknown versions might happen even yet).First a view from outside, then the same window from the inside...
It was a breeze to make. NOT!
Firstly NOTHING lined up. Then I realised I'd cloned the most unsuitable window in the whole world (and so started again), then my very dated graphics program (of 1995 Windows NT4 vintage) forgot how to make simple straight lines without adding a great degree of fuzz. Once I'd put something together, the end result looked more akin to a 1970s 'Stickle Brick' (you remember those too? You're due for retirement if you do!), and this was worsened by the fact that the stickle brick floated mid-air nowhere near ANY wall!
So, comparatively few problems for a change.
Now that I've got THIS one to work (it only took me ALL stupid weekend!), I might even make a diagonal version, and some other sizes and colours...
It really rather depends on my temper!!!
PS: Of COURSE nothing can be placed on the window sill!!! Who do you think I am? Ms Maxis Extraordinaire?!
Medieval bathroom
The ragdolls is finished and upploaded, the matching clothes for toddlers will be comming next week. I am now working on the medieval bathrom. I made a thin sink with animated water that stays all the time and can be placed without a wall on the back. More realistic i think. I also made a bucket with animated water for decoration and a stool. I also recolored my old outhouse toilett to match the set
New sets for march

"Cafe au lait" is a recolor of my "Asian Inspired" set. Cafe au lait features shades of beige, and white with a bold geometric design motif. New Eyes Collection
Hello to all! I just wanted to let you know I'm working on a 50 eye colours collection for your sims. Some of them are monochrome & contrasted eyes and the others are two-toned eyes. Hope you'll like them. :) Have a nice weekend.
New FA Theme
Ok. I'm not good at blogs. Another reason is maybe, that my english is not soo good, but I hope you will understand me a little bit ;) At the moment I'm working on recolors of grizzelda wonderfull meshes! I hope you will enjoy them. They will release in march (a big series :)) another thing is: I try to create something for the new FA Theme week in march "Vintage Victorian". You see: I would have stopped making lots a LONG while ago had it not been for ONE THING...
The TSR Artists Alliance (TSRAA)
Back in those olden days (okay - a year ago), many artists were twitchy about allowing their creations to be used in uploaded lots. And it was difficult to find willing creators and so we lot builders had to keep regurgitating the same old used-a-zillion-times-before sofas, kitchens, non-matching windows and doors, etc etc - and it was beginning to pall. If you were there to remember it, it was a dark moment in the history of Sims architecture.
The TSRAA was formed with just a few artists at first who were all happy for their work to be used in uploaded lots. But since that time, the list has grown hugely and we now have the very best tools in the world for our lot designs. You can use the creations of all these creators in the lots you share at TSR, and it's wonderful. I too am a proud TSRAA member and enjoy huge pleasure (read: pompous, over-inflated indulgent self-importance) whenever I see anything of mine appearing in someone else's lot.
So, if you create anything (anything at all: objects, walls, floors, paints - whatever) and would be happy for lot builders to use your creations in their lots submitted at TSR, please, PLEASE join us! Sign up in this thread.
