The 'My Favorite' Screenshot Contest!
We all have favorite characters from movies and television shows, or even from a beloved book. So imagine your favorite character in the Sims world, and then create him or her!
Take a screenshot in one of your Sims games (Sims 2 or Sims 3) that best portrays your favorite character, using clothing, makeup and objects from TSR (or EA). Placing that character into a scene to match would be awesome, but it must be PG-13.
Upload your screenshot to TSR, with the title 'My Favorite!', at the following link - http://www.thesimsresource.com/mytsr/screenshots/add In the description, write who the character is and what book, movie or TV show that character is from.
You may enter as many times as you like.
Entries must be submitted by 10PM EST on Friday, July 19, 2013. Winners will be announced by Tuesday, July 23, 2013.
First prize is either a free subscription day from TSR, or 650 simpoints to be spent at the EA store.
Second prize is either 10 subscriber downloads from TSR (including hair, sets, lots, etc) or 350 simpoints to be spent at the EA Store.
Third prize is either 6 subscriber downloads from TSR (including hair, sets, lots, etc) or 100 simpoints to be spent at the EA Store.

Paitence
I relized a day ago the sims all take paitience mostley the prego and the elderly.I have 3 familys all have 8 people and i small house( at the moment ).Time truly flys during game , mainly due to the focus of the sims survival, so i have put it to myself to create a house on my own to put on the site.
Life in the round...er...Octagonal
In the mid-1800's an American social reformer Orson Squire Fowler praised octagonal homes over rectangular and square structures in his book, The Octagon House: A Home For All, or A New, Cheap, Convenient, and Superior Mode of Building. As a result a few thousand ocatagonal homes were built in North America, including Canada. Fowler argues that the plan provided more living space, and got more natural light, was easier to heat, and remained cooler in the summer. Victorian builders were used to building 135° corners, as in the typical bay window, and could easily adapt to an octagonal plan.
In 1855, Captain George Anderson, a mariner and shipbuilder, built an Octagonal House in Sackville, New Brunswick. The house is now part of the Boultenhouse Heritage Centre. Although it is no longer used as a residence, I was inspired to recreate the building as a house for Sims 3. Whether the benefits that Fowler claimed will please Sims residents remains to be seen.
Sims 2 - Creating
Hi TSR Members,
I am now putting some of my houses with my walls and floors in the houses.
I love creating for the sims2, it is a lot of fun to sit and think of how you would have your own house look like. I try to create unique houses, like having the kitchen on the top floor, I was always told that grease and smoke smells go up stairs from the kitchen down stairs. Well, I think I fixed that problem by having my kitchen on the top floor. This is my unique signature of mine, I don't see to many other homes on here that are created that way. I am getting ready to tell a story of one of my sims folks, first time I will do this, so be looking for it soon.

hi im applehart , i want to make downloads but i cant take any photo of my creations for you to see because my sims 3 takes forever to load its always an inch from the end of the bar this is also happening to cherrybebezz shes a friend of mine in real life and were both having the same problem were trying to solve it but were still looking, if you know how to please tell me or cherrybebezz thankyou!!!
CUSTOM CONTENT LOST!!!
The new update ruined my computer. Sims wouldn't run, so I had to take out all my EP out, like the EA Support guy said. Nothing worked! I reinstalled, nothing. I reinstalled everything, then left all CC out. THAT worked. Due to this, I lost all CC. I am trying to reinstall most important stuff. I will have to change a few things, and it might be another two or so weeks before I am up and running with Star Crossed and Sweet Tear. I wrote some of the next Star Crossed before the update, and will submit that.
