Gone, but not for good

Hello all!

I BADLY want to create and share sims 3 homes, but I can't!! T__T

I usually use my dad's laptop, but since  he went to work in another country for a while, i'm stuck with my slow laptop, and I only get to play the sims stories, which is laptop friendly, but is from the era of the sims 2.

I'm missing out on a lot. I'm not happy about that.

I will create and submit again as soon as dad gets home, I promise.

Just enjoy my homes that are already uploaded.

Ahhh for me 2013 is going to be very important! I'll start my university education, fashion designing major! Maybe will be active here more & professionally! Then I'll be 18 so I will be able to visit Europe without my parents! Too much new things in my life!!!

My first Let's Play!!!

While I have a number of houses in the works, I recently determined that I want to do Let's Play and Sims 3 Challenge videos. I'm pleased to say that I finally got my act together and was able to begin an LP of The Sims 3 Monte Vista. 

Also of note: I am working on a very large updated farmhouse which features an atrium and barn. It will be availabe soon.

My New Years Resolution

Hi

I have decided today, that my New Years Resolution for 2013 is to be ALOT more ACTIVE on TSR.

Recently, i have not really been on the site (the past few months).There has been a few submissions by myself but not enough which has frustrated me.

I have alot of walls and floors to create and submit, some old designs & some new, so watch this space.

There will also be more Lots submitted in due course too.

Update on my mom

It has been an emotional rollercoaster for all of us so far but luckily my mom has "recovered" so far that she will be transported tomorrow, to a fysiotherapy facility to help her go home quickly. That's what she wants the most, to go home and be with my dad. She gets antibiotics till they don't work anymore and then that's it. The docs have no idea how long it will take for my mom to get resistant against the antibiotics but she has suprised them so far by still being around. They didn't expected that at all. The most important i think is that the time she has left is as comfortable as possible and that's the main goal. My mom is 88 and the whole hospital treatment has been a torment for her mentally, heartbreaking to see. So we are very happy she is medically allowed to begin her way home. Many thanks for all the Christmas and New Year wishes and the wonderfull warm thoughts and prayers. Big hugs to you all

New avatar & header image

As you can see on my profile page, I've changed my avatar and header image. The avatar looks out of place and the header image looks a little tacky, but I'm just trying the features out.

I'll update it again soon! And by soon, I mean in a few months' time. Lol.

My chapters keeps are delayed (reasons)

I hope you guys are not angry cuz my chapters are sooo late! Trust me I submit them on time, but it seems like the admins of TSR are quite slow in checking stories. Second reason is they keep on rejecting my chapters cuz they think that my dialogues are not for a PG-13 site. urghhh But I am happy that a lot of people are liking it so far.

Hope everyone had a great holiday! Hope to get to play all day on my Birthday Tuesday. No one is really awake on New Years day to stop me from playing. Hope everyone has a great year.

Getting excited to start learning Meshing at TSR University

Hey Simmers! 

Hope everyone had a good holiday and it wasn't too awful with all the relatives you only see once a year haha! If you are reading this it means you have indeed survived the xmas carnage!

Now for New Years!

I don't "do" New Years Eve kinda like I dont really do Xmas ( nor do I do relatives LOL) . Years back in my youth of course I would party down.. but now we just stay home. Way too overpriced to go anywhere.

I dont fully believe in making New Years resolutions.. yet every year I find myself waiting for the "fresh start" and wanting to get some stuff done ..

as like most people I have some similar resolutions :

- lose weight

- quit smoking ( for real this time!)

- get more organized

hahahaha

Also though I have some Sim Inpsired resolutions

- Learn 3D meshing.. make own objects

- master GIMP lol

-become a Select Artist! ( boy would I love that!)

I am excited to work with the amazing Angela at TSR University and also i am told AnoeskaB is a Gimp Master ( and since I have that program and am a total newbie to it.. i am pretty sure she is gonna have her hands full with me haha!)

I have SO MANY ideas in my head for objects.. and although there is indeed a pluthora of deco objects and everyday objects here on TSR .. I am sure I can come up with something ! 

I really love a challenge !! ( Not consiously of course LOL ) But once I master it .. it should be interesting to see what I end up making.. not just for Sims 3 but also Sims 2! 

I have been churning out alot of houses for Sims 3 lately.. and am getting antsy and want to move on to recoloring/ object making/patterns etc. 

Anyways that is my rant this AM...
