The Guardian(s)!

Hi everyone!

I just wanted to post a small update about something I just finished and am quite proud of.

Right now, I'm calling it "The Guardian."  It's a little statue that, originally, I was making for no reason. Then I decided that, since he looks kind of angry, it would be cool if he was actually protecting something - so I turned him into a burglar alarm!

I also adjusted the alarm effect so that it looks more like he is "screaming" when a burgalar comes near.

I'm not sure what else I am going to do with him. I've thought about making a couple of different versions and releasing of set of special alarms like this, or I may throw him in with a set of other spooky Halloween/supernatural themed things - only time will tell!

Ikea Sets

Hello All!

  Well now...a lot of requests for more Ikea!

As a creator I want to give you the best that I can. When I get bored with a style I set it aside and do something else. Keeps me a better creator.

As for the Ikea, yes I will make more, yes I am planning many more rooms.....but I am on a slight break from Ikea for just a few weeks. I am going to finish one more Asian room and then I will do probably a couple of shabby chic rooms, and then back to Ikea.

I need to mix up the styles to make sure I don't get to a point that it becomes not fun. So bear with me and Ikea will be back. Promise :o)

Symmetric Poly-Molecular Matrix Windows... New Project

A long time ago I received a request if I could convert the Sims 2 Symmetric Poly-Molecular Matrix window into Sims 3. I just started this project and I allready have a lot of ideas. Some of the windows will have slots too, even the diagonal versions. Hope you like it.

New Story In The Works!!

Unfortunately, A Familiar Face is coming to an end. I loved that you all loved it, it was my first completed story on TSR and although the content was a little heavy, you all kept coming back for more. I uploaded chapter 9 last night and will begin taking pictures for 10 today. But every good story must end eventually, right?! But for those who really like my story, never fear!!

Since I can never have my mind on one thing at a time, EVER, around the time I started A Familiar Face, I began to write chapters for other story ideas I had come up with.

I deleted 2, but the one I think I'm going to continue with is called Starlight, Starbright (unless I can think of something better lol) I only have 3 or so chapters, but I'm re-reading it now, and it's pretty okay. I won't tell you all what it's about, but it is definitely different than my last one. It's still a love story, but nothing like the story of Isabella and Elliot.

I hope you all enjoy it as much as you did A Familiar Face. I'm taking my own advice and finishing the whole story before I upload anything (I really don't want to, I wanna start now! lol) to avoid the same problem I had with Once Upon A Summer, which was basically typing a chapter, uploading it, and then getting writers block and having an unfinished story :(.

Not sure how many chapters this one will be. Like I said, I only have 3, so who knows. But again, I hope you like it.

Anyways, Chapter 8 just got uploaded, go go go...expect Chapter 9 soon! :)

College Life Spin-off Update.

Hi, everyone! I'm writing this blog to give you an update on the College Life Spin-off I've been talking about. If you don't want to read this entire blog, just know that it won't be happening... Not exactly how I planned it, anyway. If you do want to read the rest of this blog, then I should probably thank you, since I would hate if I was writing this and no one read it. Read on for details.. 

Okay, so a few days ago, I downloaded the Compressorizer to compressorize my downloads. It was about 2 in the morning, so I was obviously super sleepy, so I forgot to back up my files. I was so excited that everything was compressorized, and I couldn't wait to get in the game. When I did get into the game, it was loading slower than usual. It took almost a half an hour just to load the game.. I don't know if I compressorized a download that isn't compatible, or not, but I realized that my entire game was ruined. I don't blame the compressorizer, though, I blame myself for not backing every thing up. I do still download compressorized stuff, so I know that it must have been something I did. It could have just been my computer, since it's a pretty old computer. 

Anyway, long story short, I lost all of my lots in my neighborhood that took me hours (sometimes days) just to decorate. Now I don't have all of the items I once had, so I can't do the spin-off. I do, however, still have the sims. They look a bit different since I had to delete some of their stuff (like skins, eyes, etc) but they're still the same 'ole sims that they once were. Well, they got a makeover, actually, since they're adults now. Which means I can't do the graduation special, either. Sorry! 

So, since I can't do the spin-off, I've been thinking of something new to do. Something that would involve Mia and the College Clan.... I'm so excited to get it written up and uploaded.. It might take a while since I have to decorate the houses for the story, but it'll still be up, no matter what. It shouldn't take longer than a few weeks since I have all the time in the world to play sims. (If you're wondering, I don't go to school anymore, I graduated, and I don't have a job. So I'm literally home [almost] all the time. Even when I did go to school I was home [almost] all of the time since I was home schooled.)

Anyway, thank you for reading this, and I hope you'll like what's in store for the College Life characters. If you would like for me to post a new blog highlighting what was supposed to happen in the spinoff, I happily will. Since there will be a bit in the new story that you won't understand without knowing what happened. I don't even know what all is going to happen, I just have an outline, so I know I'm definitely on the edge of my seat. It's going to be crazy, I can promise you that... ;)
