My jump into the big Unknown

I always had that wish to be able to mesh but I thought it was unreachable for me. When I saw the announcement of TSR University..... heaven almost opened for me! Now I feel proud that I have been able to make my very first dining set. I hope it will be approved and really hope that you like it. When approved, perhaps it will be published within a week or so.

Blog 18

First the good news: At last our primary computer is completely fixed and almost everything has been reinstalled. Yay! Took us a bit longer than we had thought, but it was worth it. My game runs smoothly now, and other programs are running wonderfully as well. Such a relief! Thank goodness my husband is such a tech head. :)  So in time I will eventually have new things up for grabs. I refuse to give a target time, though, because every time I try to do that something goes wrong.

It's been over a year!

I has been so long since I have been active on here. I wanted to apologize to anyone who was looking forward to a conclusion on the Once Upon A Time story. I really wanted to finish that one but I had a computer crash that led to a loss to all of my saved stuff in sims and I had put a lot of work into the set up of the story before so I did not feel like redoing all of it. I am sorry for that. 

HOWEVER I have just recently taken the beginning screenshots of a story that I plan on starting up soon here. Stay tuned, if anyone on here still remembers me lol. If you don't and you are reading this then please stay tuned anyways! I would love any and all feedback. I think I am going to have it be called Motherhood Restored.

Due to various things going on in my life, I'm cutting off my ties with any Sims 2 stories I've been working on, mainly the Woodland Chronicles. Sorry to anyone who liked them, it's just the way it is.

On a more positive note, I've got a Sims 3 story I've been working on for a little while. When I post it is a completely different question but it's in the making. :)

Kate's Jewels

My latest set continues the Kate Middleton theme, but with a twist - rather than my usual clothing sets, this is a set of eight pairs of Kate's best known earrings.

The set comprises eight pairs of earrings as follows:

1. The famous Robinson Pelham diamond acorn earrings, a gift to Kate from her parents on the occasion of her marriage to Prince William

2. Ava-Eva vintage earrings by Beaut

3. Kiki Classic peridot, blue topaz and diamond earrings by Kiki McDonough

4. Effervescence Bubble Stiletto earrings by Links of London

5. Grace white topaz and diamond stud earrings by Kiki McDonough

6. Temple of Heaven Girandole gold earrings by Cassandra Goad

7. Eternal citrine drop earrings by Kiki McDonough

8. White topaz Hope Egg earrings by Links of London

These are some of Kate's best-known earrings - several pairs are firm favourites which she is often seen wearing. As always, she has wonderful taste.

A big thank you to Liana for the fabulous earrings mesh which is required for this set. This is a very clever mesh - it catches the light when the Sim moves and really brings the earrings to life.

Thoughts from Graceling

I was reading Graceling by Kristin Cashore over the past few days, combining with my other works to be done, but this weekend and just this morning I finished reading the novel. It was good (more than good, I think). I'm thinking of reading the following books ^_^

I Just want to share one of the many things I learned from it.

Running would buy time to think. But it would never solve a problem.

In the end Katsa (main protagonist) faced the mad king (main antagonist, with the ability to turn lies to truth he wants you to believe in. That made Katsa confused when they first met), and killed him.

No matter how far and long we run, we still have to face what makes us confused or problems and deal with it. It is the only way we could move with our lives, like katsa have done.

But I think she would not be able to accomplish ot without a driving force. For when she again faced the mad king, she was again confused, her mind was clouded by the things the king is telling her. When the king is about to tell the truth about Po's true grace (supernatural power), that is supposed to be a secret, she was able to move her ams and throw a knife to the king despite her clouded mind, and killed the mad king.

Her driving force is to protect people she cherish.
