I got my banner!

I watched eagerly as the Kudos meter in the corner finally clicked onto the 3000 points mark...Yipeee..I can have my banner! The very same banner that has been sitting in a dusty old folder on my desktop for many an eon..well ok, for two days. I couldn't wait to go find it and proudly post it on my minisite. I would love to say that it was the proudest moment in my life and thank my parents and partner who have given me so much support during my time as a bannerless member of TSR...but that would be silly, so I wont.

Also I have dared to create some original paintings in my painter classic and psp programs, I have posted them but half expect to be pelted with rotten eggs for my efforts..time will tell, I may be surprised.then again...I will most probabaly wont!

I was really impressed by the amount of members here at TSR who have a real liking for the likes of William Turner. I have recently made some Turner paintings..(let me quickly point out that when I say 'made some Turner paintings' I did'nt mean I have been in the basement with some moody canvas and oil paints burning the midnight oil heading up an international arts forgey racket..) I mean that I have posted some facsimiles of some Turner paintings on here for you lot and your sims to enjoy! The response was so good that I have made and posted another five for your delight. You will be able to download them in a Cpl of days or so.

Right, thats me done for now, I am going to visit my granny because she has had all her teeth out and a gas cooker put in today..poor dear!

Right here it goes Im not enjoying writing it :S I did and now Just as I was about to finish the first chapter I dont like it so If it is alright with you I may not continue with it I have got an amazing Idea and maybe after that I will go back to it....Maybe :S sorry guys I will try n I promise you this idea is amazing I hope you will enjoy it yet again thanks n sorry it shall be good :L please dont be mad I will try to get back to it eventually but plz :) thanks

General Rules

I know all these rules, yet I havent actually read them, they are common sense really! But I wont lie, people actually are doing the wrong thing. Like XMsims or Peggy any one read the site rules? Your not allowed to recolour or upload to any other site. This includes TSR and the Officially sims 2 site. YET I see them everywhere here and there. Did you know everytime you download a XMsims hair colour (that another person had uploaded) and rush to there site (XM) and download a mesh you are actually downloading an illegal recolour?? Everyone is doing it, so everyone else feels its ok!

Hint: XMsims, usually has every recolour under the sun, better off going there. The downloaders are getting credit for something that isnt really theres??

These are the general rules that must be followed when it comes to using TSR, its content and our services.

• You may not ask for free items in comments or PM's, doing so will result in your account being suspended.
• You may only submit creations made by you, no submissions made by others and submitted by you will be accepted.
• You may not post recolors of other paysites meshes, unless they are freely available and you have the permission to do so from the original artist.
• You may not recolor creations downloaded from TSR, unless you get express permission from the original artist.
• Meshes made by Featured Artists may not be uploaded elsewhere and, if you upload recolors of them to other sites, you must include a link for people to come to TSR to download the mesh.
• You may not upload any creations you download from here on any other site, including the official exchange.
• You may not link directly to our files, you must link to the page(s) that contain the file and download link.
• We do not allow content that is not suitable for a PG13 audience, all such submissions will be rejected.

One I didnt know "You cant ask for free items" Well, I've seen that alot in Featured Artists Guestbooks. I think that it should change to show "Meshes made by "Featured" ANY Artists may not be uploaded elsewhere and, if you upload recolors of them to other sites, you must ASK FOR PERMISSION and include a link for people to come to TSR to download the mesh"

So you should always read the Rules of the site before downloading, as you never know, you may have a mesh sitting in your folders 6months later, recolour it and upload (you may not remember the Creator, but the creator knows there Mesh) Some people let you have free meshes just as long as you email a link because in some cases they like to see what you have done with it!!

The Sims 2!

For now, I'd like to focus my attention on creating for The Sims 2. Sims 3, I like some aspects of it, but for the most part, Sims 2 is much more prettier, and cleaner as far as graphics. My Sims 2 runs like  a dream on this old machine, and I genuinely have more fun playing The Sims 2 than The Sims 3. So please don't be upset, I do plan on returning to The Sims 3 some day, but for now, I'm having way too much fun with 2 to stop.

I guess I should write an update for my legacy.

All five of the children are alive and healthy (surprisingly enough), and they recently aged up to young adults. I'm glad I don't have to "babysit" as much anymore.

I now have a journalist, cop, chessmaster, criminal, and artist.

Grrr....Game Crashes

I seem to be having some problems with game crashes lately. It seems to only happen in the Create-A-Sim Screen - and only when I go into the hair portion. I have removed a few items of makeup and some of the larger poly hairs, as well as increasing the virtual memory allocation size on my computer - so we will see if that fixes it. Of course, it could be a mod, such as the facial sliders or something. I will be testing that soon. Taking this methodically. It doesn't seem to effect gameplay at all, so far as I have seen. Of course, I haven't played a lot in my new neighborhood to give that as full of a test as I need to. I did also turn down some of my graphics options previously, so as not to put as much of a load on my computer. We will see.

Veronika Storm and the Great Agent Heist

Finally, she's back! Veronika and Simon are off on another whirlwind adventure, this time trying to find out the connection between a series of art heists across Western Europe and the disappearance of several agents.

Masquerading as Tempest and Sebastien Sierra, our two favourite agents are turning the little town of Champs Les Sims upside down trying to find a clue - perhaps they will find more than they bargained for?

Sims 2 back on... woo!

Have re-installed Sims 2 with all the expansion packs I have right up until Pets. :) Played my family the Jamieson family for the first time last night under Windows 7. I will share some screenshots soon. But I am going to play the family first - and not start another family -as the main problem with me when it comes to Sims 2 is I start with so many families and I just don't give enough time to spend time with them. So for an hour tonight, I will play a bit more and let the rest do the rest. :)
