Cleanthe - set like a jewel in the midst of a lush flowering 'jungle', this single unit residence is quietly classy, without being showy.

One bedroom, 1-and-a-half bathrooms and a chef's kitchen provide the amenities to set off the combined living/sitting room and other living spaces within the house proper.

To go into a little more detail . . . first of all, entry to Cleanthe can be monitored in the spacious reception room at ground level, via the inhouse telephone provided. Here, also, is a modular sofa arrangement that affords comfortable and welcoming seating for those visitors not intended to venture further into the house.

Those who do proceed upstairs will first enter the living/sitting room; this is a medium size space which can be divided, or not, by a folding screen on wheels, into any size configuration that suits a particular purpose or event. This area is handy to the kitchen and the diningroom, making it a breeze to 'feed' a party gathering. The kitchen has an included meals bar for informal family meals, and there is the convenience of a powder-room behind the elevator. By the way, the elevator does not travel beyond this floor; access to the upper level is via a circular stair, tucked into an alcove in the kitchen. thereby restricting upward traffic to the residents or invited guests.

Coming off the stair on the second floor, immediately visible are 2 pinball machines, an easel, a retro hi-fi system and a foosball table. These occupy a wide gallery and the hall that provides access to the rooms on this level. Directly across from the stairwell is the main bathroom with both shower and deep bath; the toilet is separate and contains two stalls. A door at the end of the gallery leads on to a little sun terrace, with seating and a chess table - the door to the right, into the master bedroom, which - apart from luxury sleeping quarters - also includes it's own sittingroom and private office.

The exterior features include fully landscaped and planted surrounds and an inground pool . .oh and not to forget the waterlily enhanced fountain at the front entrance. The fully equipped outdoor entertaining setup with access from the reception roon, has a gas-fired barbeque, mini-fridge and preparation counter, plus picnic seating for al fresco dining. The laundry facilities [washer and drier] are also here, and an outdoor shower is attached to one wall for that after-swim 'hose-down'. The food preparation area and the two lounging areas are protected by sturdy sun umbrellas and there is ample exterior lighting to ensure evenings can be spent out of doors if weather and inclination are in agreement.

Cleanthe is situated at 25 Hidden Grove Lane, Riverview. It is most definitely not a flat lot, but requires one initially. No CFE was used in the creation of Cleanthe.
