Give your pools a well-deserved upgrade with this brand new pool trim!

A lot of the time, I find many in-game items being disproportionately large. The original pool trim happens to be one of those. Such things have always bugged me since I prefer being able to freely choose what elements I want to highlight in my builds.

Ever since pools were introduced to TS4, I've been wishing for this kind of CC. As time passed by and it never showed up, I jokingly promised myself that it would be the first piece of CC I would create if I ever got into doing that...And well, here we are!

This project didn't end up becoming my first creation of all time, but I still wanted to honour that promise to myself, so this was actually created in March when my CC journey first began. I decided to postpone the publication of this one as diving into an outdoor swimming pool is the last thing you want to do during Scandinavian winters, heh.

It's by far the most challenging and time-consuming piece of CC I've ever created, but I learned a lot in the process. I suppose the reason you rarely see certain types of build items is because you have to clone their assets manually and, in addition to that, there's sparse documentation in general compared to buy items.

I initially thought it would be easy to just resize the original pool trim, but upon studying the EA mesh I decided to create my own mesh from scratch instead to fully understand what numbers correspond to what parts, how the trim is being repeated and how the texture is being applied.

I've conducted rigorous testing to ensure this new trim works under any circumstances. It is experimental though, so please let me know in case you experience any issues.
