About reading stories and the issues there.... What browser do you use? At work we have Internet Explorer which gives me all kind of problems to go to the next story page. At home I have Firefox... NO Problems!

Ok Ill do my best to help. I haven't made any paintings myself yet but I have read through the tutorial. For the 'load image size' I think that only comes up for photoshop. Have you been able to get the original EA framed painting into GIMP? Have a pen and paper ready. Make sure the GIMP window is maximised. There is probably an easier way to do this but this is how I get the size of something in a picture. Select the rectangle select tool. Click at the top left of the picture and drag down to the bottome right corner of the picture DO NOT release the mouse button. At the very bottom of the GIMP window you will see Rectangle: (no.) x (no.) Take note of this size then release the mouse button and write it down. Now open up the picture you want to have in GIMP. Rotate it so it faces the same way the EA one does (Image ..... Transform). Flatten the image (Image ..... Flatten image). If you are wanting to Bevel as suggested by Vanilla go to (Filters ....... Decor ...... Bevel). Remember that number you wrote down? Now is the time you will need it. (Image .... Scale Image) make sure you click the 'link' picture to break the constraint then type in your numbers and click Scale. Your image should now be the same size as the original EA one. Right click on Your image and copy it. Go to the EA image right click (Edit .... Paste As ..... New Layer) Using the Move tool (a cross with 4 arrow heads) move the layer so that it sits over the top of the original picture. Flatten the image as you did previously then save it as (File .... Save As ......Select File Type (choose DDS) In the DDS box choose Format ... RGBA8 I think the compression needs to be ....BC3/DXT5. Save it somewhere you will remember (I usually use a project folder) I hope all this helps .... this just covers the GIMP side of things and not the Workshop info. Best of luck!

Hi Gus! Yes, Cynthia appears in all the stories I have written so far. Starting as an antogist, now she a protagonist. You want to read about her? 'Just Another Life Story'. Afterwards 'Another Point Of View', Then 'Makin' Up' and the last one is 'His Father's Son'. If you look in my minisite you will find them all in the "My Stories" section. $\:\)$

Guess what... after your tip about the free paintings I thought I might as well make my own paintings! hahaha... That was fun to do! I used Vanilla Sim's tutorial and it was realy easy. I work with photoshop, my own photo's and workshop. Easy easy... Thanks for the initial idea!!!
