I really love her down to earth realism vibes.
Julia was not very popular in school because many thought her weird, but that was ok with her, because she wasn't going to change to suit them. She embraces her own unique style and doesn't give a rats arse as to what other's think! Julia's Mom taught her this and drilled it into her from the start, everyone is an individual, unique and beautiful in their own way. It's not your job to cowtow to others or clone yourself to their likeness of what they think you should be, it is their job to accept and embrace you for who you are, or go their own way. So Julia's best friend is her cousing April, as they grew up and live nextdoor to one another in an apartment building, and their Moms work together making old things new again, crafting and knitting and selling on plopsy and at flea markets, both being single Moms of one daughter each.

Her Mom really hoped that Julia would go to university and get a proper education, but Julia has other ideas. She is thinking ablout maybe taking some skill courses online and maybe some other courses if she needs them to succeed. Julia wants to work in a nursinghome taking care of elders, so she will start out being a nursing assistant and see if she will continue on to be a nurse.
