Hello, David. It was really big surprise to wake up today and read all your great comments on my stuff. Thank you for taking time $\:\)$ I'm glad you like them.. You asked me about holidays in the game. Well... If you have Holiday Party Pack (released last year, I think in limited edition) or Holiday Stuff Pack (it will be released this year; see www.thesims2.ea.com) you can put Xmas Tree in your house, make Santa's Cookies and... few minutes later Santa will come to your Sims (with some gift). You can also make New Year's Eve party: use phone, just like for making normal party in the game. At midnight you can see Old Year. He will disappear and New Year (a little cute boy) will come. I don't know anything about St.Patrick's Day in the game. Maybe you can find some hacks (check Mod the Sims 2 site). But in original game there is no possibility to celebrate this Irish holiday. TSR users only make some stuff for the game $\:\)$ Well.. I think that's all. Have a nice day!! $\:\)$ Barbara

Hi David, Thank you so much for taking the time to leave a comment on my Grand Staircase tutorial. It is always appreciated. FYI Somehow I managed to leave out one important number. On Step 7 it should read "EXACTLY 8" clicks. I hope you enjoy the staircase. I have done a half dozen different versions of this staircase by splitting the two sides or adding additional height to allow for a foundation...If it wasn't that the tutorial was running so long I'd have shown a few more variations -- I think a Part II tutorial is next. Yes, I have another tutorial on making a maid or butler on this site; and, I just submitted one for making an underground garage/basement combination.
