Hi there, J-Girl. I would be thrilled to see my homes in a story or in your screenshots. Please let me know when you post them.  And thanks for mentioning your two favorite houses. Would you believe that my interior colors always have to be based on the color of a Maxis bedspread, as limited as they are and as ugly as they are. Oh, if we could only use recolors. I have scans of beautiul bedspreads and I can't use a one of them. So I do the best I can with what I have. I know that most people will redecorate with their good stuff, but I still like my homes to make a good impression.   PM me anytime you want to talk Sims. I know the feeling. I don't dare mention my sims game to anyone else. They look at me like I am crazy. It is nice to talk with someone, who not only likes the sims, but can appreciate our creations. You did not set your blog to allow comments to be made on it.   As for TS3 I'm going to sit back and watch.   For one my computer handles the TS2 but not things with super high poly and a lot of bodyshop meshes don't work because of my video card.  But like you I'm perfectly content with the way TS2 looks.   I also like the idea of being able to change their shoes......something I wish we'd had control of in TS2.  The personality adjusting would be nice but I'm not sure how much "different" that will make TS3 vs. TS2.   Here is something to think about......how much more fun do we have with TS2 now that we have Expansion and Stuff Packs?   So even if I did have a computer that would handle anything EA can throw at it I'd still sit back & wait to see what errors and bugs come up & maybe wait for an expansion pack or 2 to come out.   But that's just me.

Hello, J-Girl. I was so delighted to find your wonderful comment on my guest book regarding my Victrorian homes. That kind of feedback is what makes all the hard work worth it. To know that you not only love the style and build of the homes, but you have a Victorian neighborhood to put them in. I noticed you do stories. Do you ever do Victorian themed stories? Thanks again for your wonderful comment.   I have a new collection of historical homes coming out next week if you are interested. They are featured as screenshots on my minisite right now. Have two more to build and I will be through. I read your blog on Sims3 and I feel the same way. I am not liking how they look right now, but maybe they look better in the game. I will buy it and play it, but it is going to have to really outshine Sims2. I am like you, I love Sims2. Everything except the fact that we can't do recolors in the game like in Sims3. Life would sure be simpler for me when I am furnishing houses. The least they could have done was let us use Artist recolors when we package homes to submit. Well, I am writing too much. Hey I saw your blog.   For a good free program go get "CleanPak" it can be found at ModTheSims2.com under programs.  I made a blog a while ago for a couple of my friends so once you get the CleanPak Installer you can go read the blog & mad about CleanPak.....if you have any other questions about it just drop by and ask.   Happy Easter & happy SIM-ing.
