Hi You asked for help with placing my house, Sarasota Modern. First, find the lot in Sunset Valley of 2400 Pinocle Point. Now, if there's a house on it, use your tank button to demo it. Now go into your empty house bin and find Sarasota Modern and click on it to place a copy on the lot. Make sure you have your game updated with the latest patch or the house will not show up. Hope you enjoy!!!

Hello and welcome to TSR. Thank you for the lovely comment on my Palms Cupola house. I'm not sure I understand what your problem is, but will do the best I can to explain - in detail, so apologies if you already know some of this stuff.
First. Download the file. Place it in the Sims3 Downloads folder. This is where ALL sims3Pack files need to be placed to install them into your game. It will be found at C:/My Documents/Electronic Arts/TheSims3/Downloads.{this is the default setting, so if you changed anything when installing the game, you will need to go there]. Click to START the game. When the blue LAUNCHER screen appears, click on the DOWNLOADS tab. Anything that shows here is waiting to be installed to your game. . . so select the house file [put a tick in the box], then click on INSTALL at the bottom of the screen. Wait for the animated install sequence to finish, then click on the big round ICON with the arrow at the top left and wait for the game to load.
When the game opens, choose the neighbourhood you want to 'live' in. I don't know which of the expansions you have, but Palms Cupola will work quite happily in Sunset Valley [the original world] as I tested it. If you see a map with RETURN TO GAME SETUP on the very top, you are in the right place, it's called EDIT TOWN. If you haven't previously opened the game, there ae a couple of screens to get through - say No to scrolling and you will get the Edit Town screen. If you don't, just open Options and click on Edit Town. Check out the empty lots sizes by clicking on them until you find a 40x40 block that you are happy with, remembering where it is. Then, in the control panel that appears at the bottom of the map, you will see 3 icons for houses - with households, empty houses and community lots. Click on the EMPTY HOUSE tab and then click on Palms Cupola. This will open a small window with the house in it. Click on PLACE COPY. Go back to the map and the lot you have chosen and click on that space to set down the house. Another animation will occur while the lot is being set down, then you have a rotation screen to enable you to orient the house with the road, then click ACCEPT. You now have a house of your own in your game in Sunset Valley. I suggest you save it straight away before doing anything else. Go to OPTIONS, click on EDIT TOWN, then SAVE AS
and choose a name for your game save. If you wish, you can leave it as Sunset Valley or call it anything you like. This is just the basic outline. If you need more details, like putting people in your house or anything else that you are unsure of, send me a Private Message and I will do what I can to assist. To send a PM, click on my name [marcorse] on any of my downloads. This will take you to my minisite. Then click on the envelope icon next to my name where it appears alongside the TSR logo. The screen that opens is like an email page. Don't add any other recipients, type your message and send it. I will reply at the earliest, but I'm not at my computer every day. Good luck and I hope you enjoy Palms Cupoloa.
It occurs to me that the actual Cupola may need to be downloaded separately as it's not a roof. You will find it in the Objects downloads on TSR for December 30, 2012. Install it the same way as the lot, but find it in Decor/Miscellaneous. Good luck and I hope you enjoy Palms Cupol a.
