Hey kiddo I just saw your entry into my GB.   Thanks sweetie.   Do you know how to use the program paint?   It comes with your computer and it is what I used to make all of my collages.   If not then just make a pic of the outside of your lot & another of the inside.   Oh & lots can be unfurnished or partly or fully furnished.   Oh & when you upload if you made a farm house you'd want to select a theme if there is no "theme" then just don't worry about it.  When you are done uploading the files you'll need to click upload or submit (cant remember which) fter you click (yes you end up doing this several times) you'll then see your lot listed as "uploaded".  You'll then have to click submit again when you do this your lot will go from "uploaded" to "pending".  When TSR approves it it will be "approved" after they have put it up for everyone to download it will be "published".  If your let gets put into "rejected" status (I had one of my lots get rejected but then I fixed it & resubmitted it) don't panic........just see if there was something you can take out or change so it can be resubmitted with the corrections.  Oh & you'll also need to keep track of the size & price of the lot.  Good luck with your lot.   Take care.

Hey kiddo just to let you know I have been with TSR since September of 06 and have been uploading stories and lots and pets for some time now, I've never had any problems with my credit or banking info getting out or with anything of mine being taken over.   There is a bit of a "web war" going on and sometimes people loose sight of things.......like what they say.......and how it may effect the PEOPLE on the other monitor reading.   I've had no problems & I know I have seen comments from uploaders giving their apologies to creators because their lot or creation was denied by TSR for using content that was NOT TSRAA.   So I do know that TSR is on the look-out for plagerism stealing, and/or using someone else's work to build/start theirs.   Hope that wasn't too confusing.   Anyway......best advice take everything with a grain of salt and learn to duck......there is a lot of cross-fire out there at the moment. :P  Take care kiddo.

Hello Thank you for your lovely post in my GB. You asked about mesh for Ameya Dresses for Teens. Don't worry - it's free You still can find it at www.simchic.com . Go to 'TS2 Freebies', then choose 'Meshes/Female Teen'. It will be the first mesh in second row. Unfortunatelly for now we can't give direct links to the meshes (TSR rules are against hotlinking) and that's why I had to change few links... To be honest: I had no idea somebody will download so old creations of mine and like them Thank you one more time Barb

Oh one other thing is what size the lot is what type of lot how many rooms & bathrooms, furnished or  not, decorated or not, what style of lot.

OK there is probably a few things I may not have mentioned in these entries.....sorry about that.  I'm just very tired and groggy from the pain medication I take......sorry about that kiddo.  I forgot to mention that if someone made a tutorail that taught you how to do a building trick or something like that then you should give them credit as-well......i gave CeruleanTalon credit for her tutorial on how to make attached garages.  Have a happy Easter.

You click the area of TSR at the top where it says "submissions".  TSR has a form for you to fill out and along the way you'll upload your lot = preview images, you will need to know what Expansions you have (they change the way the game saves the lot even with out using items that came with certain ones) and what Stuff packs were used (Mansions & Gardens I think is the only Stuff Pack that saves differently), if there was any custom content used who made it where did it come from what meshes are needed and where are the links or where they can be found/gotten from.

You will need to take some pictures to show TSR requires 2 Images for lots.  In your computer's documents area you'll find EA games/The Sims 2/neighborhoods (where you go from there depends on what neighborhood you put it in.  If you used PleasantView then you go to N001, StrangeTown n002, VeronaVille N003, if you have made any custom creative neighborhoods they would start at N004 andthen if you have a 2nd it would be N005 and so on and so on.  The other folders are for some of the later expansions but I can't remember which one is for what city/town.  Once you know which neighborhood folder to look in you will then go to storytelling and find the pictures, for every time you hit the "c" button or took a snapshot with the camera there are 2; 1 is a small thumbnail, the other is the one you want it should be the larger of the 2 images.  Copy and past it to a folder along with the lot you saved.

Maxis lots are the easiest to do.  It is best to have the program "CleanPak" from ModTheSims2 for a number of reasons; you can make sure that there is no custom content on it by installing your own packaged lot if all you could see is lot something or other I'm drawing a blank (Sorry kiddo I'm just a bit spacey from my pain meds) if there is anything else from that then you can uncheck the custome content (If you don't have Cleanpak or dont know how to use it let me know) then instead of installing save the new version of the lot with new name.....like the name of the lot + your screen name or part of it so they're both different and not to mention if you do put you name in the lot and/or in the section under the address in the actual game (the part where you can go in the lot or cancel) then people will remember you if they like your lots then you might get yourself some fans.

If a lot uses custom content then you will need to make sure that you have their permission to use their creations.  If they do allow it then you will need to know what it/they is/are and who made it/them and where the item/s came from.  Give the artists credit and if needed provide the links to anything that would require the downloader have a mesh (if you use a recolor of a custom object sometimes the lot won't look right in another computer if they don't have the mesh 1st the lot will show up in thei game with statues and blue glowing things).

Hello.   I've got an 11yr old son.   Oh & there are a couple of other 11yr olds on TSR.   I'm not a moderator or in NO WAY am TSR staff, but I do know quite a bit about TSR & if you're ever frustrated with something or just aren't sure whether it be Sims or TSR you can drop by & ask me and I will always be more than willing to try and asnwer your questin for you or find someone who can answer it for you.   OK?  Well take care and........ try & not be too bored.
