Don’t Like Your Sim’s Work Outfit? Here’s How to Change It With Cheats

The Sims 4 is all about customization, choosing what looks best for your Sims. However, one of the most important parts of a Sim’s life isn’t customizable. A Sim spends most of their career in the exact same outfit. Why can’t we edit one of the most important parts of a Sim’s attire? Well, you actually can via cheats! And don’t worry, we’ll show you the Sims 4 career outfit cheat so that your Sims can work in style.

How To Change Outfits With Cheats On PC

We’ll start with how to change work outfits with cheats on PC, since the mechanics differ slightly. To open the cheat code console, simultaneously press Ctrl + Shift + C on your keyboard. A white box should open up in the top left of the screen. Click on the cheat code console and type in “testingCheats on” and then press Enter. This will turn on cheats.

After doing so, enter “sims.modify_career_outfit_in_cas” and hit Enter. Upon hitting Enter, Create a Sim will automatically open, allowing you to edit the Sim you’ve selected. Want to give your Sim a more realistic work outfit? You can now select any outfit you want them to wear!

How To Change Outfits With Cheats On Console

For console users, the concept is the same, but obviously the mechanics are different. We’ll go over controls for both PlayStation and Xbox players. For Xbox, you simultaneously press the LT, LB, RT, and RB buttons. For PlayStation players, you press the L1, L2, R1, and R2 buttons. This will open the cheat code console, allowing players to enter cheats.

The process for entering cheats is the same as for pc users. Make sure to enter the codes the exact same way to avoid errors. Once entered, you will be taken to Create a Sim, where you can customize the Sim’s work outfit. And that’s all there is to it! Easy, right? Now your Sims can work with style!
