TSR Storytelling Rules and Policies
Please read over these site rules concerning stories that you submit for upload.
1. TSR is a PG-13 site
We want you to indulge your creativity with the game, but just because you can write about something doesn't mean that you SHOULD. Please keep your screenshots and storylines family-friendly. You can write about a mature topic without going overboard.
The following topics and photo depictions will result in an automatic rejection of your story:
- Murder/suicide
- Rape
- Incest
- Abortion
- Cigarettes
- Teen sex/pregnancy
- Excessive blood/wounds
- References to illegal drug use
- Repeated or severe domestic abuse/child abuse
- Poses of explicit sexual acts/behavior or assaults with weapons
- Blog links. We do not allow any links to/advertising for outside story blogs in site stories
While we do allow descriptions of car accidents, injuries, and illnesses, please try to keep photos and descriptions relatively tame. For example, a car accident is acceptable; a description of burning vehicles and a photo of limp bodies on the road would be considered too graphic. The story moderators have the final say in what is considered overly-graphic for the site; if you have any questions about whether your story would be acceptable, you are welcome to contact us here.
2. Watch your language
We have swear filters in place on our forums, and if the language you're using would be censored out on the forums, we will ask you to remove it from your story. If you have any questions about what is allowed, please use the Private Message system to send a message to yourself. If any of the words are asterisked, please change them to a different term.
3. My story was rejected, now what?
If your story is rejected, you will have an email from TSR in the email inbox that you used to sign up with the site explaining why your story was rejected, and what needs to be edited before it can be published. If you have additional questions about the rejection, please contact us here.
