Thank you, Pene! $\:wub\:$ Chapter 3 of Matthew's story was submitted on Friday so it ought to be up eventually. As for our friend the tree, well ... I saw a cute video of a cat attacking a tree and batting off all of the ornaments, LOL. Plus I wanted to write a story about a bitter, angry tree, but it turned out more melancholy. :P Oh well, I'll try again next year. ROFL. $\:D$

Hi Pene, Hope your having a good day friend and that your weather is at least a little bit better today, our weather is freezing too, we started getting some snow yesterday but thankfully not too much, so far it's not been as bad as they had predicted, but they do say the worst is yet to come $\:eek\:$ so I should just keep quiet for now $\:D$ I have another completely free weekend to sim $\:rah\:$ had a good week and got everything done that needed to done ,it was a busy week apart from Wednesday afternoon. I do agree with you about your 'patchwork' carpet patten, it does look great for this time of year, really cosy looking, it makes you think of a lovely log burning fire and snow outside etc, and I love your screenshots, what beautiful views they have from the windows, they are so gorgeous $\:wub\:$ is Adam still dating Princess Melena, I do hope things are working out well for him $\:\)$ all my sims have at last graduated from uni with honors, of course :P so this weekend I'm hoping to get things moving on a bit, seems I won't have any Christmas screenshots uploaded this year $\:$$ as I have been kept too busy with all the uni stuff, Wow that was sheer hard work $\:rolleyes$ : well I'll be off now and go make a start on it $\:$$ you take good care my dear friend and stay warm, and I really do hope you get to sim this weekend $\;\)$ lots of hugs, Topaz $\:wub\:$

So glad I decided to check in one more time before heading off for a good nights sleep, as I would have missed your 'GB' message $\:\)$ I think Minnie is so sweet too, at first hubby and I thought she was going to be annoying but she really is a good hearted girl and always means well despite causing so many problems for everyone $\:D$ well friend you take lots of care and I look forward to catching up again next week, and I do hope you get the chance to upload a few pictures of the gorgeous Adam $\:wub\:$ can't wait to see what has been happening to your simmies, poor Kim, she must be so tired, but I have gotten so fond of her now, as I'm sure you have, Oh and by the way your new patterns are gorgeous $\:wub\:$ lots of hugs friend $\:wub\:$

Hope you all had fun today making meat pies for christmas, they do sound yummy $\:\)$ seems your 'Farmers Market' and ours are exactly the same, as ours is on the second saturday of each month too, worlds apart yet we both live in a small town and went to see our christmas lights being switched on, and both have a farmers market held in the town square every second saturday in the month $\:P$ Wow, it's amazing $\:\)$ I'm so glad you liked my screenshots, and thank you for all your sweet and very kind comments $\:wub\:$ I'm also glad you think Casey is cute too, I have a little crush on him as well $\:o$ I think your right, we do need to get some help $\:wacko\:$ and soon $\:D$ hugs, Topaz $\:wub\:$

Hi Pene, It's Saturday, hubby and I have just been to our little town square as it's 'Farmers Market day' they have one each month and it's great to get lovely fresh vegetables and eggs etc straight from the local farms, it always reminds me of 'Lark Rise' and 'Cranford' etc as it has the old cobblestones still and seems like it's been untouched from those old days, our town has to be kept in the old style as it's one of the historic towns, so everything has been preserved and any new buildings have to be built to fit in, so it keeps it looking really lovely $\:\)$ anyway now that we are back, I'm here in my simming room again $\:D$ I have never played my game this much before, I am so caught up in everything that is going on with my sims, I have even thrown in another 2 new sims, they are a brother and sister, Hans and Desiree Hurstdale, they are now also in uni, once they are through, I'll be able to get everyone sorted out and then let the adventures begin $\:rah\:$ I am wondering who Chad will end up falling for, he is so gorgeous and I get jealous of any sim who catches his eye $\:D$ wish I could get Adam into my game too, Wow, that would be awesome $\:wub\:$ perhaps I am playing to much $\:rolleyes$ : well friend, I do hope you get to have some sim time today, and I'm really looking forward to those screenshots $\;\)$ wishing you a fantastic day $\;\)$ hugs, Topaz $\:wub\:$

Hey Pene! I have indeed been enjoying summer. $\:\)$ Except today we suddenly had several inches of rainfall. Go figure. They say it's the end of a 10 yr drought though in Oz so I can't really complain. I wouldn't want us to have the horrible fires we had last summer. They got too close for comfort. Just down the road are lots of rural properties and we unfortunately were covered in smoke all of last summer. Anyway, how are you? Busy? $\:\)$ My bf and I are in the process of cleaning how house up to put it on the market. I know Xmas isn't a good time but hey, there's always the new year. We decided a long time ago that we aren't suburban people, we like space, peace and quite, and I love my horses. So we will finally be moving. We have worked several days straight atm and finally with the rain I am able to have a break! lol There has been some pyshical labour involved and my weak girly arms just can't handle it. $\:P$ You will be seeing your Luxury Penthouse in an up and coming chapter of The Drifter soon. $\:\)$ Think it's chapter 3. It was just perfect for what I needed it for. $\:cool\:$ Btw, chapter 1 of Pt 3 of The Drifter has been posted, whenever you have a chance would love you to pop by.
