Off to Chicago for some grandsons' hugs
Its family birthday and celebration time. It seems that late May/early June, October, and December are this family's celebration times with ten birthdays and four anniversaries clumped together in those months. It makes it easier to find excuses to get together then. I hope to bring back pictures of granson's, Freddy, now four and Henry eight! I'll be leaving you with some walls, at least for the 11th.

Okey, TSR launcher wants me to install Java, but Java for windows couldnot be installed by Wine T_T, but OO strange thing happened native launcher start to see new content Oo, so this glitch is also resolved. Ah, I thought that I should let you all know that my Sims 3 is fixed! :D I'm really happy because I didn't have to buy a new one, I just needed to have my computer (as in the real thing, not in the documents etc) taken apart and cleaned out XO And then everything was fixed! ^^

My Fashion Collection
Hi everybody!! I will comment briefly on these to include my collections. My first fashion collections will be t-shirts for adult males. In principle will be about six collections of four t-shirts each inspired by different themes. The first theme was the four seasons and the next (forthcoming) will be inspired by the cherry blossom. Very popular in Japanese culture.
It is possible that some of these t- shirts collections has its version for adult females. This will depend on the permission of any artist to use his/her mesh. Since I still don´t do them.
And later in my collections include outfits for adult females, teen (male & female) , children (both also) , hair recolors, etc...
But at first I base my fashion collection of adult males, there is less material available.

*Hola a todos!! voy a comentar brevemente en que consistiran mis colecciones. Mis primeras colecciones, seran camisetas para hombres adultos. En principio seran seis colecciones de cuatro camisetas inspiradas en diferentes temas. El primer tema fueron las cuatro estaciones y el proximo (de proxima publicacion) estara inspirado en el arbol del cerezo. Muy popular en la cultura japonesa.
Si es posible, algunas de las colecciones de camisetas tendran su version para mujeres adultas. Esto dependera del permiso de algun artista para utilizar su mesh. Ya que yo aun no se hacerlas.
Y mas adelante mis colecciones incluiran vestidos para mujeres adultas, adolescentes (hombres y mujeres), niños, (tambien los dos), recolores de pelo, etc...
Pero al principio basaré mi coleccion en hombres adultos, que hay mucho menos material.

So, I am currently having uploader issues, but once resolved, I will be putting up 2 newly skinned Hot Rod Trucks that some may like.
I am up for ideas, and if anyone has a request and simply doesn;t have the time to reskin, or whatever, let me knwo and I will see what we can do to get your items to your liking:)

Soooo, the texture glitch was resolved, i just needed to install DirectX9-11 libraries to native via Winetricks, and some more libraries. So it works, i mean everything, like a charm XD.
The only one thing, that launcher still doesn't see any new content in Downloads folder, so it means it couldn't install anything new T_T.
I'll try to use TSR Launcher maybe it'll work.
So... I'll go get some coke, and try TSR Launcher XD

Giggle Fit
OK, some of this is in response to spladoum's comment on my last post. I finally got into Generations a little bit more to check things out. One, I did notice the added shower sex when I sent my guy to take a shower. I actually did a double take. I must say that is long overdue. I know, TMI macgirl! What? I'm 36. Sheesh. I also went into CAS to check out the clothes, hair, patterns and what not and came across the body hair options for men. But, it's only YA up. I was checking out teen stuff and poor teen boys have to stay all babyskinned and bare. What? They can have facial hair. Don't the legs and arms and... other areas blossom too? LOL I know, more TMI. I mean, the teens in sims can drive. They're not 13. Eh, fine, BE that way EA. Ya know, they don't stay babies forever. What do I know though, I'm only a Mom, of a teen boy.
OK, I haven't tried the treehouses yet. I don't have kiddies running amok yet on my lot. I've seen them in the catalog when I was perusing but... spladoum mentioned treehouse sex. Really? Isn't that just sort of WRONG. I mean, your kids play up there. Little kids. In princess dresses and swinging wooden swords. C'mon now. No body hair for teen boys but there is treehouse sex? Something is amiss there. Would YOU want your little princess playing in... that? Would you want your kids to even find out accidentally? What if they caught you? Try explaining the slivers in your behind and why you have to go to the doctor because they're infected. Eeewww... parents don't have sex! That's preposterous. OK, now I have to get my vamps a treehouse just to see. If only they had a tree. ROFL
My sims I'm playing to test this all out are engaged. They were engaged before Generations came out. I saved the wedding though. Well, they went on a date (another new thing, sort of) one night, to The Grind. It was the hotspot for the night. I didn't want to hear them whine about how boring some place was. The date went well and my chick wants a second date with her squeeze. There's a good sign. Anyway, once they arrived home the bartender called my dude to exclaim he needed to have a bachelor party before the wedding. Uh, wow, how'd you know? We were just there on a date. She didn't flash a ring or anything. Didn't even talk about it. Psycho sims. Oops, I mean psychic. LOL I thought, what the hey. So I planned a bachelor party. I could invite men and women, teens on down were grayed out. Gee, we're being so family friendly here with barebottomed teen boys and treehouse sex, guess we better keep the teens out of the bachelor party. I don't get EA logic. I invited just guys because that's just weird to have girls there. What's the point? My chick, however, did not get a call about having a bachelorette party. Hmph. I really wanted to pin a.... nevermind. TMI again. She was home for the party. She did ask if he really wanted her there though. LOL She dressed all nice for it and stayed out of the way for the most part. I sent her out to garden. It's perfectly normal for vampires to garden at 9 p.m. Don't yours? OK, back to the party. The guys were having fun, drinks for everyone! Some "maid" showed up with a radio and danced in the kitchen. That's where the guys were getting all... hyper. Right, it's juice, remember? Ahem, sure. Just... juice, and treehouse sex and body hair. That was odd. I waited for the, um, expected outcome, but that didn't happen. She was done dancing and just decided to go watch TV with my chick. It was rather funny. The guys skinny dipped, drank more, and just had a good old time being boys. The party was a hit and all went home sicker than dogs I imagine. Good luck getting to work the next day guys. My guy automatically got dressed in what I assume is "bachelor wear". Complete with top hat.
I had planned on having a wedding shindig but after the bachelor party I just decided to get them married on the beach, at night, alone. It was so romantic. Yep, can't beat a night of fishing, catching bugs, and jamming on the guitars. Oh yeah, they looked at the stars, which I must say is too cute. And they get a nice buff too. I took some good piccies but who wants to see that stuff?
But, how come there aren't a slew of new swimsuits for the kids? With the water slide in there I thought they'd get some new suits. Well, OK, I guess they did if you want them to wear their normal clothes to go get soaked and muddy. Honestly EA, don't you know what kids are like? Gads.
And you might be wondering why I titled this "Giggle Fit". Well... because when I got to the body hair in CAS I just lost it. I mean, it's not the chest, tummy, arm or leg hair. It's the back hair. Lord, you can have a regular bigfoot if you want. Gross! I do not want my sims to look like they're wearing a sweater when they swim. Eeewww. That's just NASTY. And... and... and... in the thumbnails, for the arm hair, GASP, it shows the guy from the side with NO undies! Oh the humanity! But remember kids, this is a pure and clean game intended for FAMILY fun. Teen boys are hairless and older sims conceal their antics in showers with clear doors and treehouses that you once ate bugs in as a child. Perfectly suitable for 5 and up. Sarcasm, I love it.
Oh! Oh! I have an idea for a night of fun for my vamps. I'll send them out to garden, then they'll ride the water slide to the foot of the treehouse, and then they'll have sliver-inducing sex and fall asleep watching the stars. Aaahhh. As soon as I give them a tree that is.
And thank you to spladoum for commenting. I got the warm fuzzies knowing someone noticed me. *sniffle* Ah, I need to go. My eyes are watering from laughing at myself.

*sigh* of course when I want to start writing reguarly again, something MUST go wrong.
First, Generations messed up my saved game...well, actually, it DESTROYED my saved game & CC with it's EA powers of evilness. I lost every saved game, Sim & piece of CC *cry*
I thought to myself, "you can't give up Emily! you must continue!" So I finally got Generations to work after 2 days...I finally got ALL of my CC for my story, which was an epic story in itself.
I went to start up my game, my mouse died -__- I went to Wal-mart at 12 AM...to get batteries, for my mouse. I came home, the batteries don't work!? My mouse is broken....of course. *sigh again...*
Never fear! My dear fiance is going to take me somewhere tomorrow...er...today o.O where I can get a NEW mouse! :) But then I'll have to go to work :(
HOPEFULLY, *crosses fingers* I can get my shots in later today, MAYBE write it up & get everying situated. Another Chapter will DEF. be out sometime this week, I promise :) I'll probably do 2, to make up for lost time :)

Quest for Tribulation Chapters One and Chapters Two
Both first two chapters of my sims story are up. I'm working on a third and final chapter. Unfortually I do not think I will be able to do a squel with the same characters, because I currently can't not update my game. I read the help stuff online, and it looks like I will need to uninstall the game and reinstall. I intend on getting the lastest sims expanison (generations), so I will need this update for this expanison and future ones.

After that my windows 7 stopped working trying to open (SIC!!!) Start button, my thoughts were: Where do Bill Gates lives, and where should i put his hands. XD
So I did totall reinstall, and right now i'm using Ubuntu Server (i had one on another PC, which now have Ubuntu Desktop, and this PC using server version, cuz this PC is better XD).
I managed to install and even run all of the Sims 3, but the plroblem lies, that i still can't resolve a stupid texture glitch, when all the objects become - black XD
So when i'll make everything to work fine, i'll start uploading some more buildings. As i understood, ppl like high-scrapers XD sooooo.....
I'm Back
You probably noticed that already since I've been posting downloads the last week or so, but I wanted to write something here to make it official. I still think the game is too dark in most cases, but now my biggest complaint is that the stone countertops are way too reflective. Add a white or cream colored counter in a kitchen, add ceiling lights, and you'll be blinded. But I am looking forward to the next expansion, Pets, and have added a poll for it here on my minisite so be sure to vote! And I've got plenty more houses to upload, so stay tuned :)
What would you think of a neighbourhood of homes?
Somehow, I've gotten it into my head that I should build a community of homes, ranging in prices based on a community that is being built near me. For anyone that would like to check out the real community and floor plans:

I like the neighbourhood and the look of where they are being built. I wish that I had any idea how to create a terrain map for TS3 so that I could put these homes into a well rounded world to play. One that would have this community on a beachy/marshy waterfront area, a set downtown area including apartments, businesses and shopping, and another residential area. I tried downloading the World Creator, but to no avail! I heard it has been rendered obsolete anyhow since all the patching and expansions have been released, but it still would have been cool to try! I have never, in any of The Sims versions created a world for them to play in. I've played custom worlds, dreamt of creating one, but I have never built one myself.
The first home up for bids is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath. I may alter this floor plan a little bit, but here it is:
I like the idea of a double garage, single story home that's elegantly decorated. I've fully furnished almost all of my homes so far, but I kind of wonder if some people wouldn't just like the bare bones in the home to decorate and furnish as they would like. I know that I personally HATE having to decorate and furnish when I download a home. I like that it's all done for me. I may change a wallpaper here or there, but I like that it's all laid out for me. If I have to landscape a little bit, I don't mind. It's fun trying to match up the property to the world that I have created.
Incidentally, if anyone has seen any dressers that are modeled like closet doors (I know I downloaded one here years ago for TS2 - I think it was Windkeeper's model) I could really use them. I like to try and stay as close to plan as possible, but if I can't then I always alter the plan a little bit.

No more makeup for a while :(
Today, I had some problems with my Sims 3 game, so I uninstalled it and now it won't install, so until I get a new game, there won't be any items from me :( It's quite upsetting for me really because the Sims 3 was something I'd do to help me relax after a hard day, and it was a great escape from the real world. However, it's not the end of the Sims 3 or my items for me, because I will be getting a new one, just not yet.
If anyone wishes to know the problem I had installing; it would get stuck on fullbuild0.package and wouldn't go any further. I cleared my cache, fixed my registry, cleaned my computer with still no luck. However, it installs on my brothers computer which is the same make but with more problems, which baffles me, so if anyone can come up with some kind of solution that I would be ever so grateful!

Game crash!
Unfortunately while installing Generations my game crashed completely! I've lost all my families, and all the sims I hadn't yet exported to upload on here! (there were A LOT of sims!)
It doesn't matter too much, I managed to get the game fixed and running, and I can re-build all of my lots and sims.
The only thing I'm really disappointed about is now I'm not going to be able to continue Bridgeport or Bust! I exported Courtney, Scarlett and Ben so I could probably start it again, but it's going to completely ruin the story I had planned!
I think I'm just going to say goodbye to that for now. I was really enjoying making it, and maybe I'll continue it later, but for now I'm going to concentrate on my sims.
Who knows, maybe I'll start a completely new story! But like I said, I'll be concentrating on my sims from now on, and I've got my blog to keep me amused too! http://scribblingsbyme.blogspot.com/

Yay!! I got The Happy Hideaway to upload properly today!!!
Apparently the fault was completely mine as I should have known better than to try and use Internet Explorer. Bugger Microsoft, I'm sticking with Foxfire! I just got this computer and never thought that that could possibly be the reason but, oh well, at least there is now a grand success!!!

My Stress Reliever is Giving ME Stress
I went home today excited to play with Sims 3 as I have new ideas for houses I want to build. Before i went to play the game, i went ahead and started to download some stuff first in TSR website for the things I need for my new house. I started now to install the stuffs i downloaded but it prompt me to update the game. Because of my stupidity, i went ahead to update the game without thinking that i have to update it in order. I already realized my mistake in the middle of the process but i still went ahead to update. At the end part of it, since the game will not start anymore, I've got no choice but to uninstall everything and reinstall again making sure that the patches are updated one by one and in order. Now I'm having a headache....So silly of me...
I have 7 CDs to install and I have all of it to update, installing the game itself normally takes me about 30mins then I have to download the patch, then I have to update...I won't be finished til morning...Now no time to play...so sad...
I'm now thinking and considering going back to Windows which is designed really for gaming. I am currently playing in on an IMAC and it has been giving me a lot of problems since I migrated my game to MAC. And worst part of it, i cannot even create my own content as TSR workshop only supports Windows...
...after much thought and deliberation, i've decided to switch back to windows. but since i'm still short of dough, i'll just put it more patience to my game then....

Oh boy. Generations came via UPS yesterday. Right on schedule, thank you Amazon. I took the day off to lengthen the holiday weekend and hopefully spend some time with my son, which I did. I didn't install the EP until last night. I sort of... forgot about it. My son and I were trying out Rift online. It's Windows only so we had to share my PC laptop and take turns. He has a MacBook and a crappy version of XP to run on the flipside. I have Windows 7 and I'm not looking back. Anyway, so we were doing that. A nice, refreshing, change from the immature, annoying atmosphere WoW has developed into. For me, Rift is more what I look for in an RPG so I might actually play it and smile. So far it's been fun.
Once I tore myself away from killing stuff, I installed Generations. Ho hum, usual install nonsense. Had to patch too. Good grief. Ya know, when you open a game case and there isn't a manual, even a small one, it doesn't bode well. So I guess I go nuts and screw up my sims lives because there's nothing to notate changes. There's not even a Prima guide, which also set alarms off for me. Hrm... I didn't play all that long since it took forever to patch and install the stupid thing, and it was late to boot since I was happily exploring Rift all day.
First thing amiss I noticed was my butler was gone. Again. Look, can we install an EP without screwing over the butler for a change? So I hired a new one. I don't even remember if he showed up. Then I noticed the age meters were not right. I found the new tab and adjusted all the ages accordingly. This is an option I feel should've been in Sims 2 and should've been in Sims 3 from the start. Is it really that hard to let us have a baby for a day and die a happy elder after 2 days? Who the heck wants elders around for 80 days anyway? I swear my sims never die. Cripes. Granny will scuffle around for decades and then I'm forced to... create a mishap so I have room in the house for another sim again. Elders do wear out their welcome eventually. I don't find EA's version of old age entertaining. Not in Sims 2, not in Sims 3. I'll admit to killing my sims off in adulthood, right before they age to elder, just so they don't have to go through it. And I'd rather have a young ghost, not a crotchety one. If the elders were wise and vibrant instead of hunched over and depressing I'd let them live. I don't play games to be depressed. We're aging better these days and it's a shame the game doesn't reflect that. My parents are in their 70s and they're not even close to being like a sim elder. Stop the madness!
OK, so I get past the tweaking and think I have things right as rain again. I decide to take my sims to the dresser to pick out new clothes because I'm sure new clothes came with the EP. Well, I was right, sort of. The ladies got a few cute items. A nice set of trail sneakers. A cute flirty skirt, some odd tops, and some "Mom" clothes. You know, stuff I'd wear. LOL That doesn't mean my sims look like Moms. What fun is that? Mine don't run around in minis and stilettos either, but you find a balance. There are also some more bad hairstyles for women. Helmet hair made the cut I see. Butch and Sally won the hair lotto too from the looks of it. Now the guys got a few nice cuts, surprisingly. There are no new shoes for them. Yep, no cool track shoes for them. They have a couple pieces in the wardrobe I'd use. A couple, meaning 2. No new jewelry or watches. This is all in the YA/A category since that's what age the sims I was playing are. Maybe the kids got a landslide of new stuff, but the older sims didn't and I didn't feel like going into CAS to look. I'll explore more tonight.
Now, let's get back to the dresser and changing outfits. I get done setting outfits for my girl and up pops a message saying she created a new outfit for herself and what a memorable moment it is and do I want to share it. Seriously? An outfit is a Kodak moment? You're kidding me. My guy got the same thing. NO I don't want to SHARE this! Who cares?! They did a few other tasks and memory bubbles popped up for those too. Stop it! EVERYTHING is like a big deal now. It's annoying. But if you want the really good interactions and "memorable moments" you'll have to catch those yourself in the game because it has no concept of what really makes a memory worth sharing or keeping. Lemme guess, when a toddler poos for the first time it will be telegraphed across my screen as something for the scrapbook. Heaven help us.
Gifts are apparently part of the EP. I went into my sims inventories to tell them to read books and eat fruit and there was an extra "give gift" option. Joy. I didn't try it. Later, when I care. My sims haven't started a family yet. They're vampires and have long lives ahead of them. I also saved their wedding for the EP to see if anything spectacular was done with that. I found wedding arches in the catalog, along with a slew of space-sucking, useless ugly objects I'll never use. There's this nice pile of decorative pillows. I thought, "Cute. I'll put those on the bed." No. Forget that. They're HUGE. They take up as much space as the bed. Gosh, they look like pillows you'd put on a bed or couch. There should be a warning on some of this stuff. "Warning: Objects in the catalog are larger than they appear."
Oh, and one more complaint. Why are the 80s coming back in this EP? There's this new... tux (I use the word loosely) for the guys and it's awful. Ruffles galore. Just get one in light blue and you're ready to head to the Footloose dance. Bizarre is one word to describe some of the clothes. Fugly 80s is another phrase that comes to mind. Ya know, 1985 and beyond is tolerable, but before that, no. The 80s were crazy. I have fond memories of the 80s too. That doesn't mean I want my sims to wear that crap or look like complete dorks at their weddings. Oi.
Really the only thing to get remotely excited about in this EP is the age adjusters. I was working that out my own way with just the one slider. Now I won't have to mess with it so much. I can program it the way I like it and leave it. I'm not labeling it as a fail yet, and I will explore it more soon. I just hope there is something else in there to float my boat or things could get ugly in customer service. The good news is I didn't bother with my CC. I just installed and went for it. It all works and is still there. No errors. No oddities. Have no fear for your CC.

Well,,, it seems the last two days have been about the best in my life!! My son has graduated from HighSchool... and I've been invited to become a Featured Artist here at TSR!!! What a HUGE honor that is!!
When I was invited to be an SA, I was overjoyed!!! But to be chosen as an FA here... well, let me tell you.. I am SO very honored!! I need to thank CycloneSue and Riccinumbers for ALL they've taught me... and of course Angela, Renate, Gosik, and several others that were always available for questions, and helped me learn to create!!! THANK YOU ALL!!!!

June Update
It has been quite a while since I updated this blog... need to get on top of that. Haven't been in the game much due to RL commitments, however am slowly transitioning back to being able to spend time in game. My two build projects have obvioulsy been on hiatus, however I have over the last few days begun spending some time on them. Simland Yard is at a stalemate till I can find some appropriate windows for the build. I think I may have found some on here, but it will mean renewing my subscription... still hemming and hawing over it as my original ticket has yet to be replied to and I decided that I would renew my subscription only if they actually follow through on the ticket. I has been sitting as an outstanding ticket since back in the middle of March of this year. If I ran my business the same way I would have absolutely no clients. As for the house I was working on, it actually is progressing along and I find myself looking forward to the completed build and submitting it for download. Generations was purchased yesterday as I couldn't resist the treat... LOLDisappearing traits...?
Well, I got Generations today, and what do you know, the new traits that are supposed to come with the game (Nurturing and Rebellious) didn't show up. Just wonderful.
Erm...I know this should be a forum topic, but these forums here are being so stupid. This site hates me. So, here I am, in this blog, where I know nobody will read this.
But does anybody know how to fix it? I uninstalled and reinstalled Generations and still I have no new traits. If this matters, I have every expansion pack and stuff pack except for Fast Lane Stuff.
This is frustrating me. Yet another thing to add to the list of problems.
Hmm, I am going to make a prediction that some person here is going to yell at me now for being a stupid teenager and not posting this on the forums. Like I said, this site hates me, and I have similar feelings in return.

Hello Simmers, My name is Izzabelle...But you can call me Izzie. I am new to TSR infact I created my account yesterday. I am really excited to start writing some stories. I just wanted to know what you all would like to see. So comment or send me a message letting me know what ya'll want to see. I am thinking about starting with a legacy, Are ya'll sick of Legacies?
I hope to blog more often and let you know some ideas, stories, and things about my life. So let's get started with the blog...
I have had a lot of ideas to create some stories but Code Error 5 has been holding me back, When a friend (laurenboisvert23) told me about this site, I was so happy! I want to start off with a legacy...I am thinking combining an Uglacy, Blondacy, and Alphabacy. Uglacy is trying to get the Uglist Sim, Blondacy is all heirs must be blond, and Alphabacy is every generation will have names starting with A, B, C, etc. I also have a story idea, But I will start with that after I finish the Legacy. Send me name ideas for the founder of the Legacy the gender will be decided soon, So names for both genders.
My friend writes AMAZING poetry, I am thinking about asking her for her poetry and creating it into short stories, Let me know what ya'll think. Like 1 every week? Not sure, Like I said I have to ask her if she is interested! :)
