The top result came as no surprise at all. When it comes to sheer volume of creations TSR just has to come out tops! It's nice to see so many people are enjoying the chance to submit their creations and share with the rest of the community although I really would have thought the kudos system would have been a little more popular.

Princess Collection File
With my Princess bedroom sets having so many pieces, I confess I haven't always remembered to put every piece in the collection file, particularly the walls and floor. For some reason, the Cinderella dollhouse wasn't in my game, and I had to remake it. With the exception of that piece, the collection file in my latest set, Aurora, is totally complete to date, and will have every single piece you have downloaded from any of my Princess bedrooms so far. I'll try really hard to remember to keep it updated when I submit Mulan and Ariel. I also have plans to make two additional sets of bedding for all eight Princesses, and maybe some clothing like pajamas. I'm not anywhere near done with Princesses. I'm just addicted to them!Ms Barrows - surely a saint for the Sims community
I don't usually have a lot of nice things to say about people, or at least that's what people think; but I have to tell you, MsBarrows counts right up there with Blessed Teresa of Calcutta for her charitable work in explaining the repository method to me in clear concise language that even this thick-witted Russian could understand.I won't deny the pretty pictures helped guide my unsteady hand through a process that had been mind-boggling for me because so many others before her had left out one tiny, yet all important, detail: You must include the custom object marker in the names when you are working with other custom objects as the source of the textures: ##0x1C050000!
One simple little detail that too many others had neglected to mention in their explanation. That tiny bit of assumed knowledge held me back in understanding the repository method for over a year.
I mention this because a great deal of the Sims Community doesn't speak English as a first language so expecting them to go crawling through 500+ posts to find one remark expressing a "commonly known" bit of information is not a reliable method to yield frequent success.
In the time since Ms Barrows went to the especial effort to explain the repository method to me, I have become increasingly reliant on the method, so her value to me as a mentor has really paid off.
I wish that more people in this world were as thorough, generous, and patient as MsBarrows. She really is a clear example of the best sort of person in the Sims Community.

SELECT ARTIST-I am gobsmacked...
Well, I must say this is a shock to say the least, did not expect it as I am so limited in what I can do re: recolours. I must assume then that it is maybe for my stories more than anything else, LOL!! Or I can hope that is the reason, my writer's ego would like to think so!Thank you for all the warm congrats...I will try to continue to stretch my wings re: objects, etc. and of course, the stories.
I am basically a humble, low-key person, so being singled out like this was a surprise, thank you.
Wagon Master update at the end of this week or first of next week. What was going to be a two-part story looks as if it may have 4 parts! LOL!

I want to apologize to everyone that downloaded the original Ocean Breeze lot. The lot had faulty terrain which showed up blue in the game. I wasn't aware of the problem until recently. I had the lot pulled and I recreated a brand new Ocean Breeze Estate lot with only MoonlitMaiden's terrain paint. There should not be a problem now. It is very important that you have Bon Voyage for this lot to work properly. I took MoonlitMaiden's advice and fixed a lot of the little annoyances that were in the original lot. Also added some things, lights, etc.. and used different wall coverings. I personally love playing this lot because there is so much to offer a little Sim family, and I hope that you will enjoy it too!SA artist

Bon Voyage!
Nope, I'm not going on vacation. I finally bought Bon Voyage! The Sims 2 expansion pack is installed and I am ready to take my Sims on vacation. They really deserve a break from endless beta testing. They work so hard and never get a chance to go on dates, shop or age. Yes, I play with aging off. My Sims are forever young, LOL!I hope to update some of my older creations to work with the new expansion pack. I've already received a request to update my Vintage Victorian Typewriter with the new Bon Voyage menu options.
If there are other creations of mine you would like for me to update for Bon Voyage please let me know. I�m not sure how many objects need to be updated, but I will try to accommodate as many requests as possible.

Lifestyles Collection Super Set
I'm currently working on a new wall set. It currently contains 54 new paint colors, and with each of those new colors, I've added new mouldings that I've been working very hard on.
I may have gotten a little bit carried away, but I ended up liking it so much that I just wound up with a ton of new walls. Not to worry, though. They'll all be put in sets so that you're not having to download each one individually.
I'll also be uploading the matching carpets to go with them. :)
My favorite sofa!
I just uploaded some new upholsters for Maxis old Satinistics sofa. I love it, it reminds me of a IKEA sofa I had for many years, until the kids jumped it into the dumpster. The sofa is not so easy to recolor, though. I usually separate the shadows and use them with my recolors for a more realistic feeling. But all the original sofas have a pattern that is difficult to erase. I did my best, hope you like them! PS: Some of my recolored objects only come with my lots.Leotards and Loincloths.
Continuing my Aztec theme, a simple loincloth for peasanty types will soon be available (Also suitable for other historical periods, such as Ancient Egypt). Also to come: recolours of my turtle-neck leotard, by request. I am always happy to recolour any of my items, if they do not appeal in their present form.New project! - changed
A set for teen girls coming NOT SO soon!I've put it unhold, since I've started to learn MESHING!!! :D
I've tried it once before, but gave up.
Now I'm into it again, trying to learn the basics, and andvance this coming week. I am off work for 7 days, and I will be doing this all the time. Hopefully, in the end of that week, I will be able to start one of my 8 cool ideas!
I won't be telling what those are until I am sure I can create a mesh.
All I know is that I won't give up this time, and if I'll succed, you're going to have a lots of cool stuff to download, made by me.
So, that teen set I was making is put unhold. It wes a set of underwear. It's not fun making it right now, since I am so into learning meshing.
The learning is going suprisingly well this time.
I haven't encountered any porblem using SimPe to transport the mesh, and I've just completed those simple things as lerning how to select, move, strecht, rotate and resize figures and more, in Milkshape. All the most important functions, so that I know what I'm doing and what happens to my mesh.
It's a good start! And I'm so ready for more!

Bedding-Match BV Hotel Beds Fixed!
LyssaKi pointed out to me some time ago that the opacity plane in my bedding-match version of the single hotel bed was flashing blue. Whoops! I finally got around to fixing it - which I should have done ages ago! - and while I was at it I also made a bedding-match version of the hotel canopy bed, which I'd somehow missed noticing when making the original set. At least until the flood of "will you be making a bedding match version of the canopy bed too?" comments and PMs started flooding in. Doh. Double-Doh! All fixed now. The revised set of beds will be re-released on Monday. Enjoy!
Whoopsie!
As aikea_guinea helpfully pointed out to me today, my "grilled cheese with dart" wall object from the Crazy Clutter collection was conflicting with the "Civic Idol" poster. A fixed version has now been posted and can be downloaded here.And I swear I still plan to make both more clutter and more frames, it's just this darn Legacy story is once again controlling the majority of my free time. The neighbourhood deciding to reach unplayable levels of lag (plus random crash-y-ness) just prior to the holidays, necessitating a rebuild, has not helped matters :)
Blarg - Toes and the joys of diabetic complications
I have spent the past week getting daily shots of vancomycin HCl because of my stupid toe (see the early blog entry "Gravity and me" for how I ended up with the ugly toe). Between fever and daily "cleaning" of the bad toe, I haven't been terribly chatty or "up". Seems I spend more time getting shots of vancomycin than not these days.I have lots of ideas on all manner of things, but strangely none of my whimsy is turning towards making medical stuff for The Sims 2... As often as I see the inside of hospitals and doctors' offices, I have more than adequate experience and visual input for making the stuff, just no particular desire to mimic the reality of my life in the game.
I suppose I should make a medical/hospital set, it would be too good a prop set for story-writers and film-makers to ignore. Oh well, add that to the ever growing list of profession-oriented theme objects I need to make for the game.
One day at a time...
These days I make objects and post them as soon as I have debugged them, rather than holding off until I have the complete set. I know this may be a little frustrating for people who prefer to download whole sets, but this way I get it on-line sooner rather than later. Sure, whole sets are a great thing, but delaying release usually means procrastinating in the making phase, if the way is always clear for the next item... well, there is nothing more offensive to an artist than an empty canvas LOL
I have computer problems
I just wanted to let you know that at the moment I'm having computer problems. I will get back to creating as soon as possible. I'm having withdrawal pains from lack of creating. lol :) I have taken to pen and pencil drawing out future creations.Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

New Decorative Items
I have grown a bit bored with my current selection of "decoration" objects and have gone a little crazy with the creation of some new items to aid your most interior decorating challenged Sims.I like being able to change the feel of a room by just throwing down an area rug, and for that reason I have a couple hundred new ones that will be uploaded over the next few weeks. (I know that sounds like overkill, but I'm sure that there will be at least ONE design that will suit everyone's taste.)
I also like to spruce up my walls with a simple painting, and you've guessed it, I've got a ton of those coming out soon as well. :)
I'll also continue my journey in wall making during all of this, so I'll be very busy over the next few weeks.

Going underground
I've been planning to build an underground nightclub for a long time. I just didn't know what to build above it. Thanks to Cyclonesue (luv you!), I now could build a condemned apartment building on the top of the club! You can wander around the whole building, if you wish. You can also furnish a room or two, maybe as a club room for a secret society...I'm now going to install OFB (which I always think of as Out of Business, for some reason...). Have to figure what kind of shop I'd like to build. Maybe I could update my Kmart and WildWildWest? Is that a cheap idea, or a smart one?
Chapter 22: The Unpleasantness
I'm uploading the chapter as we speak and am going to work on the next chapter now. I need to get it done so I can reformat my computer, it has gotten really slow and all my programs run miserably. So this month I am going to make an extra effort to finish this series.And then I'm wiping my computer clean. After this series is done I'll be concetrating on creating custom content again and maybe a few shot stories here and there. YOu'd think short stories will be easier compared to a 25 chapter series.

Interior Signature Colors POLL
I'm considering replacing my Studio K Interior Signature Colors. The reason: I'm bored with the current colors. New Secret Society & Installation instructions
I noticed that on TSR there are only 5 Secret Society lots available for download and many people don't know exactly how to install them. So for those who are willing to try something new, I'll give you Domus Secretus + Installation Instructions!This lot will be published as a residential home so you can see for yourself exactly what you are putting in your game and to avoid mistakes.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: Never forget that Maxis default Uni hoods already include a Secret Society lot (I'll call it SS) and there can only be one SS per hood!!If you have more than one SS in your hood, only the first will show up in game.
1- Create a custom Uni hood or recategorize the existing SS (I'll explain this last part later!);
2- Place the lot on your new Uni hood and enter it;
3- Open the cheat box and type: "changeLotZoning secretsociety". Remove the letterbox, save and exit the lot;
4- Put the lot back in the bin. Now place it again on the campus.
5- The lot has disappeared! Which means you now have a functional SS, which you can access by becoming a SS member!
Recategorizing existing SS into non-SS so you can add your own SS:
a- Take one of your sims to a SS lot (he has to be a member of course);
b- Once you're there, open the cheat box and type: "changeLotZoning dorm". Save it and exit the lot.
c- It isn't likely that this lot will appear ever again, but now you just need to follow steps 2,3 and 4 to have a new SS on your current Uni hood.

Don't ask me how I did it, but I've managed to delete my beachy recolor of the Ashley Bedroom from ATS. Sometimes I really hate my computer, but don't we all have a love-hate relationship with them? I can't blame it all on my computer since I must have deleted it myself, unless my computer decided to protect you all from a terrible recolor ;-). I'm not sure if I will have another go at this soon, we'll see. So, for now it's back to bedding. I've submitted a new green set(currently pending)and have to take screenshots for a new brown set(isn't as boring as it sounds!)

Manor House Update
Right now, I am working on the parlor set of the Manor House Collection. Or, at least I was.Because sets are a long, tedious process, no matter how awesome you think a set is when you start it, it is inevitable you'll hate it by the time you've finished testing and fixing problems and testing again and fixing more problems.
This is what happened to me after working on the Manor House Parlor. Except, this time I really truly hate the set. Honestly I think it sucks =[
I may go back and create a new parlor set, but for now here's what'll happen:
1.) The good pieces of the set will be redistributed to other sets
2.) The bad pieces will be released on their own under a different set name.
Even though I'm essentially scrapping this set, I will still finish all the pieces. I've only got one more to finish testing before all the pieces are done.
So look for the "bad" set to be released in the next few weeks.
