Update

I am still here :D

I am having a bit of trouble with that something new at the moment... did not think it wil be this complicated, but I will still get it done and uploaded as soon as possible... 

I have worked out that currently there wil be two large open spaces in the house... that wont look good, any ideas are welcome :) :) Pool room won't work though :/

I am also starting with a very important exam... but I will upload that something special ASAP

How I feel as I start to try out Sims3 (as a Sims2 enthusiast)

I really enjoyed the BoolProp cheat in sims 2. It gave me perfect control to role play every family quickly enough to give them memories (back when they werent annoying notification spams) and grow characters story lines. I could do alien pregnancies, add people to my family that were part of the story, have people die special ways, etc. 

I miss that cheat.

University studies...

...take a lot of time. Well, I've also played Simcity 4 (hence my latest building is a forge), and started a calligraphy hobby (I have already [too] big plans...). The first exams are next week so I have to read for those too... At the moment, I have no idea how well those will go... Being me, I tend to have too many projects at once, so I haven't build anything for my Sims 2 Baroque neighborhood, and I have an incomplete drawing with me all the time waiting for free time and a moment of artistic inspiration.

So concluding: probability for new Sims 2 buildings from me is very small...

And if you haven't noticed yet, I happen to like these ellipses... dot dot dot...

Back at Square ONE in recoloring & creating

So I received my new Sims2 game and it has been a slow start LOL. I hadnt played the game in 3 yrs so i spent the last little bit searching for sites besides TSR for custom content ( cuz Sims2 isnt any fun without CUSTOM CONTENT! LOL) and was playing the game.

I started recoloring and creating a couple of hours.. geesh i feel like a newbie amatuer all over again! its been so long that I have to re-learn everything.

So I have indeed had a couple of successful recolors that i am uploading today. They include:

- 3 houses for Nightlife... one a larger home, 2 starter homes. All complete with working NL driveways and garages

- one wall paper

- one recolor of the NL Maxis cheapo Hatchbak ( ack! the maxi colors are rude !!) 

- one bedding

- and some other various recolors that I am not really happy with so i most likely am NOT going to upload them afterall.

To top it off I am buying a better pc today.. one with better graphics and more hardrive etc and am thinking of getting Sims3 also. ( been wanting to try it for 3-4 yrs now)

i still plan on creating for Sim 2 ( as i have NO IDEA on how to create for Sims3 at this point! is there a Sims3 type of SimPE?? )

So any fans of my work.. please look for new uploads in the next couple of days. With this new computer I will have to transfer files from this one to the new one.. sims sites and applications for creating. UGH. I was just getting started too... more time lost!

Soooo

So...I am not all that new to this site. But I did just decide to get a Account for fun. But the big news that I have, is would be, I am trying to create an world for The Sims 3. I am still thinking of what kind of world it should be, ie: Vacation, Party City, City, Asian Theme, Greek Theme, ect. I know that I want it to be a City of some kind. With different sections to the city, making it larger than others. But I am not sure of how to start. Some questions I have been asking my self is...

Do I want it to be lush or desert? I know that I want it to be lush, just because I am used to the different feels, I can give the place. I can make it feel like a valley, forest, jungle, beach front, small town in the woods, ect. There are a lot of them. But for desert, there is make a place like, Lunar Lakes, Lucky Palms, Egypt, or a city, or a place with ruins.

Some more questions are:

1. How large of a world?
2. What feel, theme, and style should I have it?
3. What should I start with?
4. How much time do I want to spend on the world? (That is more of a persional question.)
5. How many lots should I have, and not to many that crash my computer? (That happened to me a few times before.)
   
6. What kind of objects should I use?
7. Should it be sunny all the time, or should it be cloudy?

These are all questions that I do have, if anyone feels like helping out and giving there input, don't be shy. I am a shy person, so I do know what it is like. And I will send a new post out when I have more questions, or when I decide what to do with the world.

Missing in Action + Clothing issue

So sorry everyone for my long hiatus from creating sims. In actualy fact, i haven't stopped making sims.. i just quit uploading them for awhile. For some reason I've had what I call SIM's BLOCK, which is actually the equivalent of writer's block. Started on 14 sims.. ended up with 5 incomplete sims.. trashed 2 of those and now I'm working on the remaining 3. Look out for some new sims this week. Will be uploading this week for sure! They're almost done.. just abit more tweaking. 

One more thing though. I noticed comments in regards to my choice of sims clothing. Just to clarify though.. i don't actually put in much effort into picking clothing for my sims. I focus mainly on the sims themselves. Sometimes a particular piece of clothing i see on TSR inspires me to create a sim and thus i use that item of clothing for my sim. Other wise, i mostly use basic clothes in CAS. Also, i only toggle ONE set of clothing. This could be either the daily wear or the formal wear. I leave the others random. This is cuz I only need one set of clothing to take pictures for the look. 

I take it that whomever downloads my sim will want to put their individual stamp of character on him or her and will thus want to customise his or her wardrobe. Why them should i make my downloads bigger when some people may not want the clothes that come with the sim? 

I do hope you understand why i haven't added in pretty clothing to my sims. It's to make it more friendly to those who want to save space and also gives people the option to download their own outfits for the sim. 

I'd also like to thank everyone for all the wonderful comments you leave on my sims. It really makes creating sims fun and lovely when i see that all of you guys like the sims. Also, it gives me a good ideas as to what looks people may like so that i may take it into consideration for the next sims i make.

Laptop issues + taking a break for a week or 2

Hello everyone.

Over the past few weeks i have experienced a Laptop issue whereby, i keep receiving a "Not Responding" message all the time. Now matter what i have done, i am still getting this message. :(

This has been very frustrating and yesterday i took the decision to buy a new Laptop, which is now on its way to me. I have had my laptop for over 3 years and only in May got a new hard drive fitted but never mind.

I am also going on holiday for a week from tomorrow, so i will be absent from TSR :(

Fingers crossed i can get my new laptop up and running as soon as i am back from my holiday and i have reinstalled all the necessary items required for me to carry on making my walls, floors and lots for you. Plus i can carry on giving my feedback to all my fellow TSR Creators. :)

So its bye for now and i'll be back soon :)
