Thanks for the offer, Bess, it is very much appreciated and if I ever get this silly thing finished I will definitely be in contact. It's aimed at Gen X (my generation) and, while it would be classified as sci-fi because it's set in the future, the focus of the story is the people, not the setting. I agree with you that there is not enough quality young adult fiction available. I have always been an avid reader and I remember in my teens finding little of quality that was aimed at my age group, perhaps that is why I got so caught up in the classics. It is improving, thanks to John Marsden and others like him, but there is still a looooong way to go.

Hi Bess! Glad to hear you are doing okay - it is a trifle warm, isn't it, but then December in Brisbane tends to be like that $\:cool\:$ I totally understand what you mean about your novel. Mine has been languishing for months and I just can't find what I need to progress it any further. I think that's why I've been concentrating on the lighter side here on TSR - hoping if I stop thinking about it, the answer will come to me. Thanks for checking out my stories, I'm glad you are enjoying the Veronika series $\:D$ The short story was just one of those things that wouldn't leave me alone and I had to get it out there, perhaps because it's so closely aligned to my novel. Hopefully that means the muse is just around the corner!

Okay, waaaaaay too many questions! $\:o$ Well I've almost finished my next story and hope to submitt it tomorrow so it might (a big might lol) be published on Sun. Hope you have a fab weekend! Hmm...good question! $\:confused\:$ I've never come across that, either. I know who definitely will though. You can PM Saoz and she will fix it for you. I've PM'd her quite a few times with regards to things like that and she's a great help. Sorry I can't help you further, it's very strange. I hope you get it fixed! Hey Bess. Well, that's a strange one! I don't think I've ever seen anything "unpublished" before. You could always try going into edit mode and re-saving, but not actually make any changes? If it hasn't been published yet, it should bring up the "submit" button again.

That would be great to be a book editor! And your idea about writing young adult fiction books sounds fantastic as well. I'm studying Events Management at the moment and I previously studied Tourism. I'm not entirely sure yet what I'm going to end up doing, but we'll see $\;\)$

Oh, ok. Yea, usually it's cooler near the water but obviously not where you are! I'm just outside of the city, at Morningside, and it's not any cooler here either. Not to mention the unit I rent is a little hot box! Yea, they have been taking a while to approve stories at the moment. Hopefully they'll approve it soon, I'm looking forward to reading it $\:\)$ I'm sorry to hear you've been going through chemo, that must be really hard emotionally and phsically! $\:\($ Have you found out the results or are you still waiting? My fingers are crossed for the best result, I can't imagine how scary it must be to be waiting on them...Yea, I work but I'm just a casual cos I'm studying. I just work at woolies on a Saturday and at the moment I don't do much during the week cos I'm on holidays. How about you?
