Redd - First, I want to thank you for the sweet comment you left on the Christmas Tree Farm. I always get excited when I see a comment from you, and you never leave a plain ol' ordinary comment either!  And yes, I have a few "mansion-like" ideas in the works. Wouldn't want you to go mansionless. LOL! Second, I just read about the difficulties you have run in to with the latest patch. I am SO sorry to hear this happened to you! Oh, Redd!!! I just saw where your game got fried with the new patch.  I read your note on the forums as well as on my guestbook. Wow!! I feel your pain!!!!!  A lot of people are really angry with EA right now after that last patch. I was the lucky one and so far it has done nothing to my game. After reading the forums on that patch, I hold my breath everytime I open my game. Hopefully, you will get it all straightened out. Of course, I know you can't replace your families and lots that you build that easily. Of course, you can always redownload the TSR stuff, but what a pain to have to start all over because of EA's screw up. Pm me anytime and scream as loud as you want. Hey thanks, Redd, and don't worry, I won't stop building.  I just have to be more aware of the content I'm using, and how big the file size becomes.  And I would happy to accept your request to build you a lot.  Start thinking about it, and maybe make some notes about how your Sims will live in it, and what their family history is, and I can probably start it for you after the holidays if you like.  Thanks again!

Good morning, Redd AKA Patricia!  For some reason, I get such joy out of calling you, "Redd." It just fits your personality......bubbley! LOL  Thanks for the enthusiatic comments on Candy Cane Lane.   Yes, snow would have made that lot so much prettier, but I refused to use the fake snow. It would have drove the file size up too much and it was already large enough. Hopefully, Ea is getting enough complaints that they will make the next EP with weather. I can't wait. Come on EA! Hey there, Redd! Having fun with WA??? I bet you have been glued to the computer for days. LOL I like the new EP, too. I really need to play it more. I figure after Christmas is over, I will have more time. My Sims want to go to France next. Thanks for your wonderful comment on Jingle Bell Lane. It was fun to do. I just love decorating for Christmas. I just wish we had snow. I am building another mansion decorated for Christmas. It is Santa's house with reindeer and all. I just installed WA this weekend. The only time I "play" the sims is to make sure everything is working and accessible on a lot before I upload it, so I definately won't be whisping off to anywhere. I bought the thing simply to stay current with the tools and objects. I'm yet to build anything with the new stuff so I can't really comment on that either. Although I am intrigued with the basement tool and will be trying hard to see if I can figure out some parlor tricks with it. Also, there is a lot of good building and landscaping objects in it that I'm looking forward to using. And thanks for the comment about RD. I copied it and sent it to her to read.

Thanks, Redd.....I have WA and I love it. No issues either with the game or building. I have gone to Egypt with no problems. I have no mods, package files or CC except from TSR. I don't know if that makes a difference or not. You will need the game if you plan on downloading more homes since most will no longer be base game only. Just back up your game before installing. Take out your mods, package files and any CC not TSR. I know TSR CC is working with no problems. Of course, you probably have more than I since I don't use that much. I have a great computer and don't know if that has anything to do with it or not. Good luck and Happy Thanksgiving. Hope you get the game. I would hate to lose my most cherished downloader.
