Look For The 'Bear Necessities'!!
Hey Folks! I've finally finished my 'Bohemian Black & White Set' - after quite a few alterations - so I intend to upload that in the next couple of days - that's gonna be fun! In the meantime, the 'Bear Necessities' paintings have been submitted and approved and are due out on the 29th & 30th
- I know it was a long time ago when I first mentioned them, but I've finally got there (kept getting distracted by other things!).
Also, to go with the paintings, I have produced a set of rugs! 
. I've only done 12 as I thought another 38 would be a little over the top!!, but they will co-ordinate with any of the paintings, so hopefully you'll like them!
I've been doing a lot of experimenting with re-colouring and following the relative success of my black and white sofas, I've created some more of them - two sets in fact! Personally, I think they've turned out really well - but maybe I'm just a little biased!

I WILL get around to uploading them at some stage, along with some more curtains, floor tiles, and rugs - once I have satisfied a certain person's addiction for paintings (if that's ever going to be possible - which I doubt very much!!!)
Anyway, just thought I'd keep you posted with what's been going on! 
And remember that if you feel like commenting on anything or making any suggestions, I'm more than happy to listen!

Hi Everyone, As you can tell by my banner that we have something big coming up. For those of you who are not aware of it, if you go to the forum there is a thread called Texture Challange. It is a lot of fun and a great place to be. It is a place where you get a lot of help and encouragement from all who take part and it's an AWESOME way to learn, and like I said everyone there is awesome. I would like to encourage any one interested to stop in and check us out. TC100 is going to be GREAT and you don't want to miss it. You don't even really have to recolor we use to have a girl in there that was like our cheerleader. She would give her imput on our stuff, make suggestions, and even a request once in a while. Any how it's a lot of fun Check us out.I still have HUGH and continued Thank You's to all who download my stuff. Hey there!I started playing this new hood, with a bunch of rules. Well actually, I took the Royal Neighborhood challenge and modified it to fit the way I like to play.
I decided to keep posted the on-going actions of that hood on FreeWebs, so anybody could take a peek. I only play one day at a time per family, so there's not that much there yet, but it has started (well, I started playing officially yesterday! :P )
You will notice that all my sims are living in the houses I have uploaded recently to TSR. Useless to say that I pick those house to build for that hood, and then decided to share them with you.

P.S. the last few houses I built for the hood are not on TSR yet, simply because I rush to finish them so I would get to play, but they aren't furnish pretty enough for download. But they will come ;)
African hotel
I've been to Africa and love it. Now your simmies can go there, too. I've uploaded an African hotel, built like a traditional village, but with all the comfort and luxury your simmies could wish for. There are four huts, all with a double-bed, so this resort is suitable for couples.I first built it with all kinds of wonderful exotic plants from our TSRAA artists, but the file ended up mega-sized! So I took away almost all plants, leaving an acacia tree, banana tree, jurassica palm plus one climbing plant that's on the statue. Besides this, there are some large rocks and a log seating. Also, I love Murano's floor mirror that makes floors look high-polished. If you don't want to download the mesh needed for this effect, then you can just remove all the floors that look black without the mesh. You remove them at the edges.
If you don't have Celebration Stuff, this will only affect one small dining table in the Simba theme hut.
I'm very pleased with the spa that is sited on black rock and combined with the huge statue, I think the effect is very dramatic!
I've played the lot and everything should work fine. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do!

A new moulding, based on an old favorite of mine, transformed into eight fully wainscotted panelled walls using lighter pastels. Let me know what you think. The image has been compressed and will be in the right proportions in game. These will be published August 9th.

Updates & What's Coming Next!
Hi all I thought i would let you know what is coming next. Well the Esprit Curtain Collection is almost finished. This set includes Full Double Wide Curtains, Single Full Curtains, Single Short Length Curtains & Double Short Length Curtains. Just finishing testing. A second recolour of the Santiago Lounge Collection will be released sometime next week and the Santiago Dining Collection recolour will follow shortly after. Downloads of the Esprit Venetian Blinds seem to be going well, i am glad you like them. I have updated these to include diagonals, however the updates have not been published yet. I am hoping to update the mesh-file over the next few days and release the diagonals once the mesh-file has been updated. I would imagine i will probably release some metallic recolours of this set. Once i have got the above published and out the way i will probably be taking a couple of weeks away to get university assignments done and dusted. First year of Uni is finished September! Second Year starts Oct! At the moment the Esprit Bedroom Collection has been put on hold. I really like the bed and have made quite a lot of improvements to it, however it still isn't right yet. I wouldn't like to submit something that i am not completely happy with, just for the sake of submitting. Anyway that's all for now. I will post again when the Venetian Blind Mesh files have been updated and diagonals released. Take care Debs. Below is screenshot of the Esprit Curtain Set. The set has one master file which all other curtains get the textures from, this will reduce the over all filesize and make recolouring much quicker. POLLS Well, with 101 people voting, here are the results of my latest poll... That was pretty much what I figured, and I just LOVE being at least partially right. LOL! Thank you all SO much for participating. Every poll helps me learn what people want so I can make better homes for everyone! Thank you! ----------------------------------- NEW LOTS Have 2 new lots on the way, and they couldn't be more different from each other. ;) ILLUSTRA - The first is a Modern home that I am REALLY proud of! Illustra is a 3 bedroom home designed to take in views from the ocean or a cliff top. It is NOT a beach lot, but would look great near water. It's a 3 bedroom Maxis only home, and will be available on the 29th (Tuesday).
July 28th, Vintage Charm Bath
The Vintage Charm Bath set is scheduled for publication on July 28th. The bathroom is a companion set for the Vintage Charm Bedroom. The Vintage Charm Bath set�s major furnishings are linked to a dresser (see picture below) which is part of the previously released Vintage Charm Bedroom set. Some of the bathroom objects were linked to the Vintage Charm Bedroom dresser to make recoloring of the major set pieces easier. You MUST have the dresser in your download folder to use the bathroom hutch, sink, 3-drawer chest, bath shelf unit, console table, and medicine cabinet.The bathroom hutch, sink, 3-drawer chest, bath shelf unit, standing towel rack, picture with shelves, and console table all have 1 or more decorative slots. FYI, you can use your keyboard's "M" key to move through the slots.
The Vintage Charm Bath also includes base game and Seasons versions of the vanity mirror. Some of the decorative objects like the basket of roses, basket of soaps, and tissue box are recolors of my Vanity Fair meshes.
I am currently creating recolors for the Vintage Charm collection. So far, I have created pink, yellow and white, dark and medium wood recolors for the collection.

Thank you to everyone who responded to my poll about Pollination Technicians and Ideal Plantsim replacements. I really do appreciate the feedback! The general consensus was that you like pointy ears, want a poll tech that is a bit different looking but not too weird, and you like elven-featured ideal plantsims. If anyone would like to help me test an Ideal Plantsim template and Pollination technician template, I have created one of each.
Yes, I know, the pollination technician looks like Spock. That's on purpose. :D

Well... As expected, more trouble.
Due to two reports of my Privacy Island Modern 01 being suspect and giving an Empty Set error, I unpublished and deleted the offending Lot, and redid it. I KNOW for a FACT that this time (as before) everything is working at the time of submission. I hated to lose all my thanks for the Lot, but I had no option to replace JUST the lot package at all... just the preview images, so I felt it best to just delete the set and resubmit it. To those 10 people that had no trouble with it, thank you! And to the two that did, I'm sorry.2 new lots!
I've got a couple of new lots on the back burner that I still need to work out the bugs and such . As soon as I do this I will submit them for download here. The first one is my Rustic Living lot which is completely Maxis with the the exception of one of my floors.
The second is my other new lot which is called Aurora Downs.
I still need to go through and decide what custom content is going to stay and what is leaving.

Updated Bohemian Black Set - Better or Worse?!!
Me again! Firstly, thanks very much to everyone who has left a comment on my new set - it's much appreciated! :D I've been doing quite a lot of revisions, taking on board the comments that you did make, and have extended it to include white versions of many of the objects. I've also changed the paintings so they stand out more and, I think, are more appropriate to the black & white theme, and added armchairs!! With regards to things like adding patterns to the furniture, etc - this IS my first attempt at doing anything like this and, if I'm honest, I think that is a bit above me at the moment :( - I'm just really pleased they all came out still looking like tables and sofas and chairs!! :P :D So anyway, here are 3 preview pics of the new, new version:
So what do you reckon? An improvement or not?
Not sure whether I should do previews of a separate 'black' room & a separate 'white' room instead of putting them all together as they do look a bit cramped - I just wanted to show everything I'd done! :P

Hello to all!I missed TSR and you guys sooooo much!!! It's so pleasant to came back home and to read your comments and GB signs and to understand that you didn't forget me while I was away for some time!
So, I had 2 weeks vacation and I've spend it quite well, now I'm full of energy and ideas in building houses, creating objects etc...
And I can't wait to make my plans true. So, please, wait for a while! :))
As for the poll...Thanks to all who had participated in it! Frankly speaking, I've forgot how to make small houses but I'll try to remember it as soon as I'll finish my other projects...

Little Venice - Flower Shop - out now :)
Hello - here's a few pictures of the new lot I've been working on. I've added some more pictures which show part of the interior. The lot is part of my Little Venice series (obviously!) ; it has a habitable houseboat and a flower shop on the ground floor of the building.It's been ages since I built a home business so I hope your Sims will want to give this one a go!

TSR's Texture Challenge
For all you recolorers out there, you may find a great deal of interest in TSR's Texture Challenge in the TSR Forums.Each Wednesday a member is chosen to supply 4+ textures for all members to use in a room recolor. There are no prizes, this is strictly for fun. I have been a member for a little over 10 weeks and man...I LOVE it!
The people are super friendly and very supportive. Each person offers constructive advice to help each other excel in recoloring. We're kind of like a TSR TC Family.

Hallway Set
At the request of sww, I've been working on a set to help clutter up hallways (cleverly named by me as "Hallway Set".) I have 5 meshes done so far - a decorative coat rack (with a shelf usable by two items), a mirror (with another shelf that you can put one item on), a small lamp, a small plant, and an end table (that you can put three things on)...and in addition each item has about 7 recolors (I'm too lazy to go count the exact amount :P). I'll be uploading it in 5 parts: one mesh and all of its recolors per set, and then hopefully I'll get them all into one superset eventually.Meshes

Bohemian Black Set - Comments Please!!!
Hi all! I've been working on a new set and I would really appreciate some feedback (good or bad!) as to whether you think it's any good and worth publishing or not. This is the first time I have attempted a whole room, and re-colouring furniture and the objects included. Some I am happy with, others I'm not so sure, which is where, hopefully, you come in! Please leave a comment, even if it's only to say 'Yuck, I hate it!' - I won't be offended and would rather know what you thought about it HONESTLY and TRUTHFULLY! Finally uploaded!
I have finally uploaded my first set in months. The set is the Bold Dining Room set, and features six new meshes. At this moment, it has not been approved, so I do not know when it will be published. But, I hope it is soon!Afterwards, I will begin work on a brand new set soon. I'm not sure what it will be, but I'll think of something!
