Hi Mae $\:D$ I've just posted the Chapter 5 of Veronika Storm and Chapter 6 should be out before tomorrow, as soon as I finish the last few screenies - I have had a very productive morning !!!

Mazal tov, mazal tov! lol I have a few friends who are the same, they don't eat a lot of choc/ice-cream and stuff but accept the consequences when when they do. It's good in a way I guess, as you are eating less sugar and fat! lol It certainly goes straight to my thighs. $\:wacko\:$ ha ha ha. I understand it can be difficult to stay motivated when writing a story. My chapters are definitely few and far between now, wish they weren't though. I have some ideas for my next story but I'm really resisting the urge to start it as I know once I do, I'll be having a silent battle with myself to try and write it and deal with other stuff at the same time too. And I like to enjoy playing the sims in my stories as well. $\;\)$

Hmmm, how odd! I guess there's no set timetable they have to run to, it's not like they are primary or secondary schools that have to stick to the government's mandated school holidays. I'm pretty sure I only got one week when I was at QUT ... but that was decades ago, the brain could be faulty *lol* I'm studying a combined Commerce/Business degree in accounting and business administration - not exactly exciting stuff, but I like numbers and I'm good at admin and it fits in with where I want to go in the company I work for. Of course the ultimate goal would be an MBA, but that is still several years off. I was a teacher many moons ago - teaching accounting, maths and commerce of course *lol* - but high school just was not for me. Where I'm working now, though, I'm in charge of the professional development program for the admin staff and am loving it! It's a lot of hard work writing a programme from scratch, but it's the sort of hard work that leaves you feeling like you've actually accomplished something.

Hi Mae! Really? I thought everyone got two. I'm studying through USQ and they have special weeks over holidays for those who are studying externally but need to actually attend the uni to do some pract time, perhaps that's why the extra week?

Hi Mae! Good luck with the study, that sounds like a very big step and I wish you well $\:\)$ I personally don't celebrate Easter either (although my family does) and can't eat chocolate so the whole thing seems a bit over-rated to me ... but I won't say no to the public holidays $\:D$ I know all about uni being full on! Juggling it with full-time work this year has reminded me why I abandoned it last time *lol* ... but this two week break we are having right now should allow me to catch up a little. I can't believe I've already had 4 pieces of assessment due in!

Hi Mae! We have missed you! $\:wub\:$ Twas nice of you to stop by. We didn't do much over Easter, relaxed, some family stuff, sims, worked in the garden, had a few spas, drank lots of champagne. Ha ha ha, okay so we did a fare bit. Oh you poor darling, lactose intolerant, I would go crazy not being able to eat chocolate. It's just like in the Harry Potter movies, it makes you feel better! lol Your fiance? I didn't know you were engaged.
