Well at the moment we're 3 hours ahead of britain, their clocks went forward a couple of weeks ago so they may be at the same time as you, do your clocks change at all in Sweden? They don't here, it gets light between 6 and 7 in the morning and gets dark betweenn 6.30 and 7.30 in the evening and thats the same all year round. Either way I'm only 2 or 3 hours ahead of you (like you said) which isn't too bad at all $\:D$

Yep, people are really friendly over here $\:D$ We go to Sam once a week, we tend to go on a friday because it's their holy day and the roads are quieter, I'm glad we went yesterday because someone had knocked his grave over, it's just a big pile of rocks on top, they hadn't knocked it down too much so we just piled the rocks back up again, maybe whoever did it (if they return) will see it's been built up again and realise it's not just a pile of rocks and then leave it alone, we'll see.

Yesterday we went to sam's beach, while we were there 3 men in a boat landed on the beach, they chucked some fish in the back of their pickup, then started to drive off of the beach, Martin and I were sat at the top of the hill next to Sam, they waved at us, stopped their pickup and two of them got out, they called Martin over, they showed him the big fish they'd caught, talked to him for a while then gave him a fish, got back in their pickup, waved at me and drove off $\:\)$

There are lots and lots of arabic channels. The channels we watch have english speaking programs and they put arabic subtitles on the bottom of the screen, thank god, if it was arabic voice overs I think I would've gone mad by now through sheer boredom $\:D$

The tv is rubbish, it's all american sitcoms and series, I like some of them but it's a bit like living in america tv wise $\:wacko\:$ There are a couple of british programs, but they repeat most thing, they show a program twice one day and then twice the next day $\:o$ Don't get me started on the arabic tv channels $\:wacko\:$ The ads I tend to switch my brain off because they're in arabic and I don't have a clue what they're saying $\:D$

The pool isn't just mine, it's a communial pool in the compound, but there's only 6 houses so it's not too bad, we also can't use it at the moment as it needs a new pump, but we can use the pool at the hotel. The architecture of the house is typical of the whole country, so now you have a bit of a taster of the local architecture $\:D$

$\:\)$ Thought I would pop over and say hello $\:\)$ .We are in Spain at the moment so not much time to mess around on the computer . Too many things to see and do. Our next door neighbours here are from Sweeden, a very nice couple. They spend the winter here and the summer in Sweeden, they love the sun and spend most days on the beach $\:D$ I had not realised that you are coming over to the UK to do your studies,I'm sure you will have a great time .Two of my sons have been to Uni and have loved every minute and managed to get some studing done $\:P$ A very exciting time ahead for you $\:\)$

The couple are british, we're also now been invited around to our neighbours house on thursday for a meal, they're also british. We've sort of become firends with a couple who live here permantly, she's scottish and he's an Omani, so I will bug and grill them until I've extracted all the info I can $\:D$

No.....no sims yet, I'm starting to miss it now, it didn't bother me too much when I was still in england because I had so much to do, now I don't have a lot to do I'm starting to get bored and would love to be able to sim for a hour or so just to releive the boredom. I'm in the process of trying to make as many friends as possible, Martin and I are off out with a couple tomorrow, we've met them 3 times now and seem to get on ok with them, only time will tell. $\;\)$ Hope you have a lovely day $\:wub\:$

Us english....well what can I say.....we're the kindest, most adorable people in the world $\:ph34r\:$ Ok truth, we too can be rude, insensitive, unfriendly and inconsiderate, like most people everywhere, but we can also be friendly, kind, and generous too....like most people everywhere, we all have some idiots that let our nations down, it's how the rest of us behave, thats the important thing. $\;\)$ I'm sure you'll love england and if you're going to be in the north of england you'll be fine, people are very friendly there $\;\)$ (it does rain a lot and get very cold though) $\:P$
