I am Simmer

If I actually sat down and calculated my time spent on this game (started with Sims 1 / Living Large) I would most certainly have a heart attack. So, for the sake of my health, I won't. Instead I will look back fondly of my time well spent meeting new people (from all over the world...and I do mean all over) who have one very special thing in common: Simming. Doesn't matter whether you enjoy building, playing, story telling, or one of many other creative outlets the Sims provide the bottom line is that we create. We use our minds and imaginations to create places, people, and things to express ourselves through this unique and wonderful medium. I have played many games in my life (50ys) starting with board and card games. I witnessed the birth of table-top RPGs, video games, and many others. Many have impressed me, moved me, disappointed me, and sometimes upset* me, (everything from "What were they thinking?" to "I WILL beat this darn* game!") but none have held my attention longer, pulled more of my time, and has given me so much in return than The Sims. Thank you everyone who's paths I have crossed, who still keeps in touch, and to those I have yet to meet. Keep on Simmin' D. Ray Stone * is not the word I usually use but I am trying to keep this clean :)

Poetic me

Seven colonies full of life, human and otherwise, have been lost. Their potential never realized, their feet never to stand upon solid ground.
 
Such a crime should not be permitted, but it is. Why? Because those responsible have power. Power not matched by any normal human being. In the end, we are but playthings of the gods and demons.
 
However, those we called gods were eventually cast down when man gained power. Humanity stole the fire from the gods, overcame any challenge posed to them, subdued any threat to them. For our species, meeting and overcoming the challenges posed to us is what makes us human. There is no other possibility.
 
There are many tools in this world. Magic, technology, combinations of both. We **must** master these tools to either cast down the gods, or reach a level where even they will not be able to touch us. We shall forge a Cerberus to protect us, empower us. Until we are ready to take our rightful place at the palace of Gods. It is our destiny.
 
This is my manifesto. I hope you will join my cause.

I'm going to make a story!

I'm starting to write a new story and I'm pretty excited because I usually read stories not make them! :p  I'm pretty excited and I'm open to any ideas people have for me! Like I said in my All about me thing, if I use one of your ideas, I PROMISE to give you credit. Also if you could give me websites, that would be great and I will either include you or the website in like the Acknowledgements page thing.I've got poses ready and I'm about to start!Wish me luck!
