I have been in a bad situation lately and have been very depressed because of that situation. I need all of your prayers to get past this.
On January 12th I didn't know if I would have my job (employeed for over 8 years) any longer due to an error on my part. That error has caused so much stress that I haven't been able to think of much else for the most part. Although I did create 6 more paintings, went to work everyday and tried to play the Sims3 occasionally (when the game would cooperate) to try to keep myself occupied, most of the time I have been so worried wondering if I would still have my job or not.
Well today I was fired! I no longer have to job that I have had for over 8 years now and I don't know what to do with myself. I have no desire to create, play my game, download the wonderful creations here, sign guest books, leave feedback on creations or screenshots, reply back to all who have left me messages or do much of anything else in my personal life.
I am requesting to all concerned to please pray for me to find a new job and to get out of this depression that I am experiencing so I can get back to doing what I love doing.
When you have finished reading this please comment with wonderful encouriging feedback that you are so wonderful at giving because that will put a smile on my face, give my heart a wonderful feeling and put my mind at ease. All of these things are something that I desperately need right now.

The Generic Family
What a tangled web I weave! Somehow I've managed to ensnare nearly all the families in my Sims 1 neighborhood into less than six degrees of separation. The Silver family reached out to the Verde, the Gold, the Talbot, and the Smith families, but the Verdes are already connected to the Golds (who are connected to the Adonii and Venii families), and the Talbots are connected to the Smiths. From there, the Talbots connect to the Millers, who connect to the Farmers, with whom the Smiths also share a connection. The Smiths then connect to the Rutherfords, and then the Millers reached out to ensnare the Jones family. The Rutherfords and the Jones have other families connected to them as well, but here it's time to backtrack to the Millers and follow one of their other connections into the Generic family.
The Generics (I pretend to pronounce it "je-ne-reek") started with Aaron Miller, the oldest of the four siblings, and his three half-sisters, who are themselves half-sisters to each other. Just as the three Miller brothers and their sister Lorna Farmer had different mothers, Aaron and his sisters all have different fathers. Aaron's father, who was more athletic, passed along his physique and physical abilities to his son. Similarly, the Generic sisters' fathers gave their daughters parts of themselves as well.
Janine Generic is the oldest of the three sisters. Tall, with a kind of handsomeness that approaches--but doesn't quite reach--beauty, she is still quite attractive. In fact, she had been in a casual relationship with Luther Smith until he got married; they're still good friends, though, in part because they work together. From her father Janine inherited a scientific curiousity and academic drive that serves her well as a Theorist.
Kara Generic, the middle sister, inherited her good looks not only from her mother, who was quite beautiful herself, but also from her father, who was very handsome and worked as a high fashion model. Small wonder then that she followed his path into the fashion industry, rising to become a Fashion Columnist. She still models, her good looks always in demand, but she did get tired of being ogled by cameramen. She once thought about giving it all up for Studio Town, but she prefers her "behind-the-scenes" work as an outside observer than being in front of the camera all the time.
Nadia Generic, the youngest sister, has a devil-may-care attitude and takes amazing risks for the thrill of it. Given that her father was a studio stuntman as well as an adrenaline junkie, it's small wonder that she took a job in the Xtreme career path, now racing each day as a Grand Prix Driver. Her older sisters worry that she'll get hurt, but while she got her father's wildness, she also inherited her mother's meticulousness for detail, and she never goes out on the race track without triple-checking her car and all the safety equipment...just in case.
Chris Roomies, who had moved into town with her step-sister, Melissa, lost her income when Melissa married and moved out of the small home they'd rented. Somewhat lazy and not-at-all interested in working, she moved into the Generic home when they advertised for a live-in housekeeper. Actually, they didn't want a housekeeper so much as someone to watch the house while they were at work--which was good, because Chris is a mediocre housekeeper at best. So now Chris has a home to live in, free of charge, without having to work. She does cook the meals for the family, though, so she is earning her keep in a way.
Rachel Stone grew up as an outcast because her paranormal abilities manifested early and scared off all the other children. Now, as an adult, she works as an Exorcist. Although she does have a brother living in town, Rachel took up lodging with the Generics instead...as something of a loner, she found living with her brother's family a stressful inconvenience. With the Generics, she can be alone when she needs to be without anyone getting too concerned about her.
Blaze, who had been working and living Downtown, wanted to get back to a more relaxed, peaceful life. After meeting the Generics in town, she accepted their offer to move into their house. Now working as an Exorcist, she rooms with Rachel, their abilities serving to reinforce and protect each other--and the other residents of the house--from wandering spirits that may drop in.
One day, Chris met a man named Emmanuel and his daughter Harmonia. She fell in love with him, he fell in love with her, and in short order Emmanuel and Harmonia moved into the Generic house. As the only male in the house, Emmanuel could be either intimidated or doted on, but he's neither. He's determined to earn his spot in the house...even if he hasn't decided on a career yet. Harmonia's just glad that her step-mother is a nice woman--she didn't want a step-mother like Cinderella's or Snow White's.
Busy and cold
For once we really have winter here in Denmark with snow and frost and everything for more than a month and we, my dog and I have really enjoyed it. I know I haven´t been so active here, but a combination of way to much work and a brilliant update from Microsoft that made my computer shutdown everytime I tried to play Sims I haven´t got that much building done. I was working on a project and luckily it has not been damaged by Bill and his friends, so I hope I´ll have something up this weekend.
I will now return to my waffles, tea and knitting and enjoy the rest of my first night of the weekend.
Where is Veronika Storm?
Hi everyone
I apologise for the delay in getting out the next Veronika Storm. Life has a habit of interfering in my leisure time.
As well, I didn't want to rush this story and put up something I wasn't entirely happy with. However, I have now finished writing it and I think (I hope) there is a little something in there for everyone.
All that is left is to finish the screenies and upload it to TSR. Crossing fingers and toes, I hope to have it submitted by the end of the weekend, so keep an eye out next week for "The Message in the Stones", a Veronika Storm adventure.

Stripping EA store content
Due to lots of requests I have decided to strip EA store content (but not free content) from my creations.
I will replace objects with Custom Content from this website OR with default content, might be from Adventures expansion.
However, it WILL take time, and don't expect anything before march - I am quite busy until mid-february and 17th leaving to Italy until start of the spring.
Stairs are driving me mad
After discovering that WA brought back the old stairs behaviour with stackable stairs I had a lot of fun with a new house last week. I fiddled and tried and was really happy. Yesterday I had my dear Penelope move in to test it. And the stairs don't work. Just the same as before WA - she wants to climb the stairs and at the end she stopps, complains and returns. She descends without complications from the highest floor to the lowest but the other way round it doesn't work when another stairs are above. I was so disappointed, I changed and used the hammertool like mad - I didn't get it done. I took Iris' old Cottage (where the stairs work without any complications) to look what I've done there - no difference to be seen. After trying and retrying again and again I finally quit - after about 12 hours and fell right into my bed.
You could say: Just change the stairs, doesn't matter. But I want to know, why! Why does it work on one lot and doesn't work on the other? Those things I do not understand are driving me mad. Where is the mistake in my thinking? *sigh*
It seems I haven't understood sims3 at all ... Oh, why did EA change the building issues that way? You allways had to be carefully with all the CFE-settings, I know well. And I am carefully using it, you can believe. For now I've lost all drive to go on ...
But my Penelope gave me amusement in that awful trying. I had her moved in a testing lot - well, just a copy of her, of course - to let her try every single step I was doing. But even with her copy I cannot neglect her wanting. She was feeling bad by again and again walking up and down my stairs, she was hungry and needed a toilet. Since she had her food-replicator and all her books in her family inventory, I just bought her a toilet and a cheap bed and let her have a perfect salmon. And guess what she did? No, she didn't have her meal just standing. And no, she didn't sit on her bed. She walked down the stairs into the basement where I placed her toilet, sat down and had her meal there. (see the screenshot) I'll tell you, that's not the way you should treat a absolut loveble and loyal sim like my Penelope! I begin to think, that builders are not feeling bound in honour. But they should ...
Nothing new
I have not posted anything in this blog in a while, mostly because I had a sick son at home last week and my school assignments for college have been kicking my butt. So as of right now I am no further with the story I am working on and I have just been playing the sims when I have time. I did post a new lot based on the home of the Golden Girls from the 80's t.v show but it was rejected because it had to much custom content so when I get a chance I am going to go back and try to fix it and resubmit it. I have also been working on a lot that is completly on a hillside but it "like school work" is kicking my butt. Anywho. Everyone out there have a wonderfull weekend and hugs to everyone.
And yes I clicked Enable Comments. lol
What am I supposed to do with THIS?!
So, all this stuff... Exactly HOW do I arrange this pile of doo-doo into sets?! The theme starts this weekend and yet I don't even think I've finshed!. It takes me on average three days to prepare screens for a set (this includes an approx 2.5 days of doing anything BUT screenshots in a massive sweep of procrastination) and I still want to make another couple of ladders, a dustbin or two, piles of house bricks and even see whether the old car wreck I made in Sims 2 is salvageable for Sims 3. I'm not big on converting Sims 2 stuff (it's mostly proved impossible and 'repeats' like the tyres are brand new remakes), but I do really want that old junk car.
But setting stupid ambitions aside, the main problem is what do I do with a water pump, a lawn mower and a broken gnome?! Hardly a set in its own right, yet they don't sit comfortably with a broken toilet seat and pile of tyres either! It's all my stupid fault; iinstead of making things that actually go together, I just went junk-mad. Someone should stop me. Really, someone should, because I just get carried away and now I have all this to shovel into some kind of collection of sets.

The Jones Family
The Jones family aren't one of the founding families, but they are one of the few families living in the original neighborhood before incorporation, giving them a bit of status in Old Town. In fact, Katrina Jones is one of the two women who serve as chief welcomers to new residents.
Unlike his brother Eric, Dennis Jones didn't go prematurely gray, and so he didn't have to fall back on other talents and skills because he was no longer as photogenic as before. As a result, Dennis was able to make the most of his charisma and creativity to make it big as a Broadway Star. However, as his wife's fine cooking began to take a toll on his waistline, Dennis realized he needed to get back into shape before he became just a supporting actor again. So, with a bit of exercise [not to mention SimWardrobe], Dennis got fit, and became a total babe magnet...somewhat to his wife's chagrin, though she likes his sexier clothes.
Katrina has chosen the life of the unemployed housewife and is instead active in the community, welcoming each new neighbor into Old Town. Though she and Dennis wanted children, they were never so lucky. However, having seen what her sister and sister-in-law had to go through, Katrina is now relieved that she didn't have to deal with morning sickness, extra weight gain, etc. She's happy just taking care of her nephews without being responsible for them as a mother.
Monica, Katrina's younger sister, married a young man named Kyle Dylans. However, with her struggling with sporting mishaps and him working long hours as an inventor, their home life began to suffer. Finally, Monica took her sister up on her offer and moved in with her and Dennis. Kyle naturally followed along. Now, with fewer worries about money, Monica was able to work through her athletic career, finally retiring from playing to take on the better paying jobs of assistant coach, and finally Coach.
Kyle, no longer under pressure to bring in a minimal paycheck for long hours, was able to work through his own difficulties and finally settled into his Theorist profession. Although the limited hours are better, the long hours of his early career have taken their toll, and he's almost always in bed by 8 o'clock, 9 at the latest. Unless, of course, he drinks lots and lots of coffee or espresso, in which case he can almost always go all night.
Kyle and Monica have one son, Franklin. Franklin is playful and friendly, but also very energetic and exuberant. Few of his classmates can keep up with him, and so he often gets chosen for teams because of his speed and athleticism.
Katrina and Monica's younger brother, R.J., had left home before their marriages, and was getting by as an internet entrepreneur. However, he was surviving by staying with various friends. Katrina dragged him home with her and forced him to move in. With a stable home for the first time in several years, R.J. was finally able to develop a social life and find a girlfriend. Tired of the long hours, he decided also to take a pay cut and begin working as an Exorcist.
Olivia is the young woman whom R.J. met in the Old Town commericial area. She had just moved into town, and he was exorcising a spirit that had wandered too far from its tombstone. The two hit it off, and after a few weeks, got married. Olivia found a niche for a new business, and she soon became a CEO.
R.J. and Olivia also have one son, named Benjamin. Unlike his cousin, Benjamin is more inclined towards fantasy and magic. Still, he's the only one able to keep up with his cousin.
The Jones family moved out of the old neighborhood and into a much larger house. It took a bit of doing, but now their home is much more homey. Still, Dennis and Katrina still remember their first home fondly.
A New, Magical Place...
And there it is! The blue squares you can see are residential lots, the yellow ones are community lots. I haven't got round to building yet; world creating takes a very long time. Eventually, the hill will be scattered with luxurious gated mansions, while there will be cheaper houses downtown. I've got plans for a few especially beautiful ones overlooking the park!
The downtown area will host most of the rabbit holes and normal community lots; The Shops, Library, Art Gallery etc. The Military Base and Science lab will be located above the town behind the hill, hidden away from the beauty and glamour of Far Far Away.
Another area of the map will be the smaller Village, with medievil style homes (like the ones in Veronaville for Sims 2). This is where Little Red Riding Hood, Jack and Goldilocks all live.
But what would a magical kindom be without a few evil Witches and Wizards? The other side of the kingdom, across the river, hides a darker past...

Hooked on Sims3
I like the foreign adventures in Sims3 and have been playing them a lot. I also tried to make my first pattern for the game and managed to separate the channels ok, but the final colors were not even close to what they were supposed to be. Seems it requires a lot of patience to create stuff for the game... Hopefully I will find that endurance one of these days!

Ok so I finally decided to start this whole blog thing. At least on here. I dunno how often I shall keep up with it or even if anyone will read it but o wells.
First off I didn't even know you could have you own blog on here. Pretty nifty
I think what I shall do is after a day of Simming and such I shall update people on the things I have found or discovered in game that I did not know before or that I liked. So starting off yesturday I was playing the game in my test neighborhood and found out that your sims child can ask you to split up with the sim they are dating. How amazing is that I laughed for like 10 minutes at the thought because that is very much like real life. But if only it was as simpe as asking.
Also I have decided to make some base homes with no cc for people to dl so I'll be starting that shortly. I wont be useing any cc due to the whole I'm to lazy to look where I got it from though I do know where most of it is from. I may use the odd pattern cc and will say where it is from but wont link it. You can find it yourself. Sorry

The Rutherford Family
The Rutherford family didn't move into Old Town until after incorporation, but they bought a property in the older neighborhood, giving them a bit of status above the other newcomers.
Lance Rutherford, who heads the family, worked hard to get where he is in the world today. However, much of his success is owed to his wife, Nancy, who supported his dream to become a Rock Star. He had the talent and the skill to achieve his dream, but it would have been impossible if Nancy hadn't been there to bring in a steadier paycheck while he worked on getting ahead in the music industry.
Actually, it would have been impossible if his younger brother Jeremiah and his wife Collette hadn't moved in shortly thereafter to help out with the income and take care of his and Nancy's son. But because they were there, Nancy was able to add her talents and skills to her husband's. Together they found greater success as a Rock Star duo than Lance was achieving as a solo act.
Jeremiah and Collette are raising two children--their own daughter Roseanna and his brother's son, Clay--while they find fulfillment in their own occupations as Veterinarians. As the only two vets in town, Jeremiah and Collette find themselves taking care of not just the pet dogs and cats, but also the strays, the animals at the Pet Adoption Center, and all the birds, fish, lizards, turtles, and everything else scattered around town, and even the exotic fish in the tanks at Studio Town.
The two kids, despite their parents' high profile jobs and the famous people who call on them for help with pets, are well-grounded. They could care less about the rock stars and big names in fashion who sometimes call on their parents. Besides, they're more amazed by their aunt, Natalie Smith, who has seen and done more (and is a better cook) as a Celebrity Chef and an Exorcist.
Recently Lance and Jeremiah's father, Samuel, moved in with them, bringing along his grandson--their nephew--Hayden. Samuel's wife, his other daughter (Lance, Jeremiah, and Natalie's baby sister) and son-in-law had died in a car accident. Incidentally, this was the same accident that claimed the life of Crystal Talbot's husband (which he had actually caused because he was drunk) and made her into a widow. Samuel has taken over the cooking duties from his sons, getting up early in the morning to prepare breakfast for first Jeremiah and Collette (who leave at 7:00 A.M.), then for the three kids and himself. Then, after doing those dishes, he prepares a late breakfast or early lunch for Lance and Nancy, who sleep in late because they get in so early in the morning. Then he may make a phone call or two to meet with friends, but then prepares dinner shortly after four--usually right after Lance and Nancy leave for work. After dinner it's time for a bath and bed--all by about 6:00 or 7:00 P.M. because he gets up so early.
The three grandkids love their grandfather, even if they spemd so little time with him each day. Hayden misses his parents, but with the entire family working to include him and make him feel loved, the pain is gradually lessening.
Welcome to the Asylum....
I'm currently working on a derilect Insane Asylum for my Stoneyville Collection & I also have another 8 or so lots in various stages of construction. I'm also planning to build some simple cottages - like the Mansfield that I've just submitted - using just the University & Open For Business expansion packs, so those of you without the later expansion & stuff packs, will still get to decorate or renovate my lots.
Thanks to everyone who've participated & to those who are continuing to participate in my poll. It's because of these results that I'm creating the new cottages.

The Little Things They Do.
I've noticed on free-will mode, that my sims do funny little things.
For example my sim did a "stuff face" in the fidge. How Cute!!!
I don't know what other things they do.
One other than I can think of, but have not seen, is they will wash the windows. Hmmmm.

Dare I say it...?

<whisper> Success!
I managed to put my new computer together last night. After working through the setup and updating the pre-installed programs, I tried installing The Sims: Complete Collection. The game installed--much faster than when I installed it on my old computer. I didn't play just then, though...another issue came up called dinner. And after that, another issue--although I got another printer (it was part of a package at Best Buy), it's an inkjet rather than a laser printer, and since the family prefers to use the laser because it is marginally more efficient, they wanted to install that onto the computer. However, it uses a parallel port versus a USB port, and the new computer only had parallel ports, so now I need to go looking for an adapter. Which brought up another issue: we needed the CD to install the printer and we couldn't find it. So that resulted in a 30-45 minute search. Finally we found it. We still need the adapter, but if we didn't have the CD, we wouldn't be able to install the printer, so we wouldn't have needed the adapter at all. But now that we found it, I have to get the adapter. And a USB hub too because now we're talking about four USB ports going to be in use--the keyboard and mouse use one port each, and between the laser printer and the inkjet printer, that's four, and that's all the computer has on the back (the ones on the front would be used for thumb drives, of course) so because we also have a scanner...AAAAH!
Sorry.
So, after the mad search for the CD (which we found), it was time for a TV break (NCIS and NCIS:LA, recorded on DVR). Then, after that, I went through the process of copying my Sims files from the old computer onto thumb drive, then transferring them over to the new computer.
I tried playing one game--just start, to see if it would work--and it worked. However, with a widescreen monitor, the aspect is slightly distracting. I don't think the top and bottom got cut off, necessarily, which I heard might happen, because the menus on the bottom were visible, as were the queue items in the top right. But what I'm thinking is this: on my old monitor there is a black border around the entire playing area, but on the widescreen monitor the top and bottom are cut off and go right to the border of the screen (or just about) while the sides are wider than before. It will take a little getting used to, but I'm sure it will work out in the end.
So, tonight, I need to finish transferring just a few more files--I had made some paintings and stuff that are in some of the houses which I will now need to transfer so that the homes will open without problems. Then, I can play!
Oh, wait. Criminal Minds and CSI: NY are on tonight...were they new episodes? I think they were...oh, well...I'll play after that for a little.
Well, back to work!

My last 3 sims have all been subscriber only, so I've decided that I'm going to re-make them so that everyone will be able to download them. So I will work on them today and hopefully get them submitted today too. We'll see how things turn out. :)

Something for the ornate rockery...
I've now made two oil cans (circa 1970s - yes, that's how long they've been lying about): a dented, fallen one, and a simple stand-up can. Despite appearances, both are fully recolourable (only the labels are fixed). As an example, the far left cans (one lying down and the green 7Z standing can are both the same, but i removed the green and rusted up the metal of the fallen can.
The pleasure I got out of denting one of those cans was immeasurable! Sweet revenge for finding that my original prototype had a back-to-front label on the flip side of the can (now fixed of course; I'm not THAT lazy).
I apologise for the logos. For once, I didn't risk getting my butt sued by using real oil company brands (though heck, if I owned an oil company, I'd be well pleased to see people keeping my company junk for 40 years +)...
Jan. 29th, Vanity Fair Part III
Vanity Fair Part III is a Sims 3 mini-set of antique furnishings for the bedroom and it's scheduled for publication on January 29, 2010. The set includes a 2-tile dresser with decorative slots, a vintage gold embossed mirror, decorative beauty products and toiletries, a 1-tile and 2-tile cornice styled curtain. Happy Simming!

Good News and Bad News
The good news is: *drum roll* we're currently testing a solution to the computer troubles!!! And so far, it's looking good. Hasn't crashed once yet! We've updated the computer to windows 7.
The bad news is that since it was running on Windows XP before, I had to completely wipe the computer and do a clean install. Admittedly, I had a few things backed-up, but I've lost a fair bit. Including my story neighborhood. So I am very, very sorry to any Another Life fans. :(
Anyway, since I am installing the game as we speak you can start expecting a few lots (though I don't know how much I'll get done with school starting the day after tomorrow) over the next few weeks, and maybe another story... if I'm feeling particularly inspired. ;)

New lot - Palm tree holiday resort :)
Hi all,
I released a new lot the other day called "Palm tree holiday resort". I cannot believe the response I have had from downloaders. 254 downloads in less than 24 hours of it being on the site. I am so pleased! It is in my opinion the most realistic lot I have built yet. I certainly am getting much more familiar with Sim 3 now.
I haven't forgot about Sims 2 either. I have stacks of Sims 2 creations ready to upload to TSR. Wallpapers and floors will be availlable to download soon too.

Submitted new chapter
Hi everybody. Just here to say that I submitted the 3rd part of my story 'His Father's Son'. It was submitted yesterday so I suppose that it will be out within a few days. Take care!!!

Well, I bought my new computer today. I haven't started putting it together yet--too late in my time zone--but I have a day off and the weekend coming up to work on it, so that sounds like a plan.
Or it did, until the malware scanner picked up something again. So, the new plan is to work on it tomorrow after I come home from work.
I really hope that The Sims: Complete Collection will install on Windows 7...I really don't want to lose all the time and effort I invested in creating my Sims.
On the other hand, I'll probably also install The Sims 2 onto the new computer. I have some of the games--EA started selling them in bundles, so I don't have to go searching for all the expansion and stuff packs--so I can get started.
I also have a laptop running Windows XP, so I can probably install The Sims onto that if I really have to. I just hope there's enough free memory to work with, and that the touchpad doesn't screw me up. I'll probably use an external mouse for the laptop because I think the laptop also has a virus, albeit a less harmful and just really annoying one: the cursor works fine for a little bit, then it scrolls off to a corner and keeps going there no matter how hard I try to get it going in another direction.
So here's hoping that everything works well tomorrow!

Hello Sims-universe.
I'm not sure what's taken so long to get registered to this website but I'm so glad I finally did. This year is going to be a Sims-filled year and I'm excited...
Dollhouse collection and more..
As some of you have seen, i build dollhouses to. Not only thoose cute ones with a tower and soft collors, but thoose who really looks like a real dollhouse. Thoose we played with when we where children ^^ I have seen others now, and they are wonderfull. I like when others are making some houses out of the ordenary, like my puzzle duzzle and buzz bunker i just submitted. I like when people take ordenary things in real life and use it as an inspiration in making sims3 houses. My collections as now is:

I will put pictures up in my gallery wich houses belong to where and name it after the collection. I think i am going to make more collections as it seems like that is something people like. Though i dont want to promiss people that it will be submitted as manny houses as i have done so far in this short of time i have had my profil here. Cuse i want to start making videos to, and play other games ^^. But i will log in every day as i have been so far, if i am at home ofcource xD

The Farmer Family
Monty Farmer brought his wife Jessica and their son Chad to Old Town to celebrate their daughter Lisa's wedding to Luther Smith. Shortly thereafter, Monty relocated his family to Old Town permanently.
Monty, who was blessed with good looks and a keen eye for detail, found work in the fashion industry, becoming a famous designer before moving on to become a Fashion Columnist. He still keeps his hand in, watching television each day to see what works and what doesn't, and commenting on it at night while sketching his own ideas on what goes together.
Jessica, from whom Lisa inherited her talent and interest, had been an entertainer before her children were born. Upon moving to Old Town, with her children fully grown and able to take care of themselves, she returned to the industry, this time as a musician. She is now a Rock Star and extremely successful, despite her maturity, able to bridge the gap between the people of her generation and those of her children's generation.
Chad, after graduating from college, thought briefly about following his mother and his sister's path, but though he enjoys going to Studio Town for impromptu sessions, he decided the stress wasn't for him. Instead, he developed his other skills and went into the Paranormal professions, rising to become an Exorcist.
While in college Chad had found a friend in Blake, who had shared his interests in the entertainment industry. However, while Chad had given up on the idea, Blake had tried to make a go of it. They reconnected in Studio Town. Blake, who had been in foster care his entire life, was having a hard time. Chad invited him home, and Monty and Jessica--despite Blake's having attained his majority--legally adopted him and gave him their family name. Blake, with Chad's help, also went into the Paranormal professions and became an Exorcist as well.
It came as a surprise to everyone when Blake and Luther Smith came face to face...because they were actually twin brothers, who had been adopted separately and had lost touch with each other.
Chad met one of Blake's friends from Studio Town, and young woman named Sydney. The two fell in love and married. Sydney moved into the Farmer home and, deciding that she'd never be as successful as Jessica, went back to college and got a degree in business administration. She started her own company and now makes nearly as much as a CEO as her husband does. She and Chad have one son, Gregory.
Blake met a young woman named Lorna while on a trip Downtown. After a couple of casual dates, things turned serious, and in a short while he asked her to marry him. Lorna, who had also grown up in foster care, knows only that her father was a major player who carried on with multiple women, and that she probably has brother and sisters somewhere out in the world (actually, she has three younger half-brothers in town, even if she doens't know it--the Millers). Though she initially thought to work as a Personal Tour Guide, she decided to work with her husband instead, becoming an Exorcist. She and Blake have a daughter, Robyn.
Incidentally, Monty's sister--his much younger sister, owing to his father remarrying after his first wife died--also lives in town. Given that she is only a year or two older than his own children, however, and that he was already out of the house when she was born, he barely knows her. More on her later.
